Here is some general information on a hoosier cabinet below. Ever since the early 1900s the Hoosier cabinet has been one the most favored piece of kitchen furniture ever to exist. You might argue that the kitchen table is the dearest. And if it is, the Hoosier is a very close second. The official Hoosiers were made by the Hoosier Manufacturing Co. of New Castle. Indiana, but models were also crafted by other Indiana companies. Today the term"Hoosier Cabinet" is generically applied to any cabinet that fit's the following description. Has a base with doors and drawers on the bottom for storage, Has a porcelain work surface. Many times this will slide out, Has a top that often has a roll. Or tambour door. Top can include a sifter. Vintage 12 Art Deco Chrome Pulls Red Lines Hoosier Cabinet Drawer Door Hardware
Up for your consideration is a very nice set of chrome plated cabinet door or drawer pulls. The chrome is in very good condition with some oxidization. The Pulls measure 4" overall. And have a depth of aprox 7/8" when installed. The screw holes are 3 1/2" apart on center. Sorry but screws do not come with the pulls. Please look over the photos and ask questions when needed. Antique Lot 1911 Hoosier Cabinet 4 Metal Knobs Door Latch Catch 100 Years Old
Hi! I have been buying a lot on Ebay and have decided to start selling as well. So while it may seem like I am a new member I have actually been around for awhile. These are just removed off of a junk hoosier cabinet base that had a porcelain top dated 1911. This is four metal mushroom shaped knobs that are around 1" across and a front door latch and catch with a knob missing off the latch, but it still works without the football shaped knob. No screws are included for any of the pieces. All of these pieces have a rusty patina and will need to be refinished if desire. It starts at $10 and will ship for free. I have a Sellers hoosier style cabinet that I am selling off all the parts. Everything except for the upper and lower cabinet frame and drawers is available. Including all hardware, doors, flour bin, tambour(rolling door) enamel work surface with wood framing and the brackets which the upper cabinet is attached to the lower. Feel free to contact me with specific questions on any of the above. This auction is for the original door for the bottom cabinet complete with wood bin. Wire rack and original hinges. The door measures about 22 by 19 1/2 niches. The inside measurement is about 21 1/4 by 18 7/8 inches. The wood bin on the top inside is about 19 3/8 long by 3 1/4 deep by 2 1/8 inches high. The hinge side will need some attention, is attached, but away from the door. The white wire rack measures about 19 1/2 inches long by 8 1/2 inches ... morehigh by 3 1/4 inches deep, is in overall very good condition. Has some minor bends but still holds its shape. I believe the two hinges are original and I have left them on the door. Rare to find all the parts in one place in such good condition. Overall, a very good replacement part. Buy With Confidence 14 YEARS ON E-BAY 100% Positive Feedback! I have for sale an antique. Vintage, Hoosier cabinet flour sifter with the door. The door is not in good shape. The bin itself, the square area measures 16 1/2" tall at the front, 13 1/2" tall at the back,10" deep and 11 3/4" across. Add 8" for sifter and cone shaped area. These are appx. measures and could be off 1/8" or so. Paint and minor surface rust. Also needs to be straightened in places. The sifter does work, but needs to be straightened for it to close with the pin, also 1 is missing. The metal rack is approximately 8" high. 2" x 12 1/2" at the bottom and 3" x 13" at the top. It has screw loops at the top and one at the bottom for mounting. The overall width at the top at the screw eyes is 13 3/4" I would consider it in excellent condition for the age. It does have a bit of surface rust and chipped paint. But is intact with no damage.
