This auction is for a vintage silver plate and cut or pressed glass butter or jam dish. This item is from a coastal Georgia estate and is in very good condition. The silver plate is not worn or pitted and the dish is not chipped. Cracked or scratched. The dish is 1" high and almost 4" square and is embossed ENGLAND on the bottom. The tray is unmarked as to it's maker. Size of tray is 7.50" long, 4" at its widest and 4.25" at its highest. There are 4 ball feet on the bottom of the tray. The glass can be used for either butter, jam or jelly and the two last pictures are taken of the inside and bottom in that order. This is a sweet and elegant set and needs a new home.
