Up for bids. Is an antique Derby Silver triple plated oriental boat. It is 9" long, 3 1/2" wide and nearly 5" tall. On the underneath, is a logo, which says, Derby Silver Triple Plated" There is also a number next to the logo- 2904. This could have been an incense burner, I'm not sure. The top is hinged. This is a very ornate piece, with engraving all over. It's in very nice condition, not dented up; the pictures show this. Not sure of the age of the piece. It weighs 1# 5 oz. Will combine shipping. Up for sale is this beautiful Victorian quadruple plate Pickle Castor with cranberry jar and tongs. At the top it has an owl sitting on a branch with a circular decoration next to him. Ornate base and top. Good condition for its age but there is some plate loss on tongs and supporting rods. It is made by the Derby Silver C. mark is on the bottom. The cranberry jar is in good condition no chips. Might be a replacement. Smaller in diameter then the base. Lid fits perfect on it. The metal stand measures 11 1/2" tall. Antique Derby Silver Co. Liquor Flask
Very ornate scene. I beleive it is called"Royalty" The company was founded in 1872 in Shelton. Connecticut and closed in 1933. The flask appears to be silverplate or quadrupleplate as described in some of the history of the company. It does seem heavier than most flasks of this size. The cup. When removed, opens into a small cup approx. 2 1/4" tall. The flask, cup attached, is approx. 6 1/4" tall, 3 1/2" wide, 1 3/4" deep. I did not clean or polish this item. natural patina! It has a small dent on the"shoulder" and some pitting, but I'm sure it would look wonderful once cleaned and polished. Antique Derby Silver Co Quadruple Plate Victorian Figural Toothpick Holder #2302
This is a somewhat rare antique quadruple silverplate Victorian age figural toothpick and/or matchstick holder from the 1800's. It is in pretty good condition. As you can see from the photo's. The top of the cup is out of round and it could use a professional cleaning. I personally would display it just the way it is. Other than that, it looks good. It is made by the Derby Silver Company. It has their logo on the bottom along with the number 2302. The cup is 2 1/8" tall and approximately 2" in diameter at the top. The figural lady is 3 3/8" tall. Here is an old. What I am calling, candle holder. This has a neat pattern to the metal side with a bent over ripple edge. This stands about 2" tall and is about 2 1/4" across the top. It does show some wear and has some scratches and mars. The bottom reads"Derby Silver Co. An anchor on top of a crown, Quadruple Plate" and the number 2327. I've never come across anything like it. I am sure it was a one-of-a-kind. It features two adorable little girls, one is holding her doll and the other is serving tea. They are having a picnic on the grass under the shade of a tree branch. QUADRUPLE PLATE- This piece is marked quadruple plate. Within the silver manufacturing industry. Items marked"Standard" silver plate indicated that 2 troy ounces of pure silver were used to silver electroplate, but"Quadruple" silver plate used 8 troy ounces. High quality pieces were produced. The discoloration at the bottom of the first picture is a glare from the light. The color is a nice patina/tarnish. I believe this is a vase but it may be a trophy cup. Either way it is quite unique. Antique Trophy Loving Cup Lake Sunapee NH Sailing Race 1902 Derby Silver Co.
This trophy seems to be made of pewter and stands 8" tall at the rim and 10" tall at the top of handles. It is 9" wide at the outer edge of the handles. It was presented to Ornis for second place in the first class sailing race August 23rd 1902. It is signed on the base by the Derby Silver Co. There are no dents or damage but some minor scratching and wear. Thank you.

Antique and very Rare Art Nouveau from Derby Silver Co Silver-plate Jewelry Box 3465 Patent June 14. 1904. The young maiden is laying down amidst flowers. This is a hinged jewelry box with plush grey velvet interior. It is marked Derby Silver Co. Quadruple Plate Patent June 14, 1904. It measures 8" long and 3" wide and 2 3/4" tall. The hinge and box works well. There is plate loss on the box not sure or need polishing.

With a lined and tappered toothpick holder next to a fine lady. The detail on the lady is quite amazing. The lady also has a lovely patina. The toothpick holder is marked as made by Derby Silver Co. founded in CT in 1873) and is numbered#2302. It is c1870-1890. dimensions: approx. 8.5 cms x 5 cms x 8.5 cms high weight: approx 160 gms ~ 5 oz condition. This toothpick holder is in excellent condition. No repairs. No missing parts. No pitting. No cracks/splits. The lady has a lovely patina.see photos. Overall the silverplate looks pretty good but there may be a bit of plate loss on the holder itself. Around the bottom. I would say it will still polish/clean up to a brilliant shine, if you like them like that. Overall I would say the toothpick holder is in excellent condition. Many figural napkin rings and toothpick holders appear in Australia. And I source most of them, through contacts at deceased estate auctions around the country.
