I found a similar set that was listed as being victorian but I am not sure if that is the correct style/era. The holder has some chips and damage on the underside along the edges. The bottles stand roughly 5 to 7. 75 inches t all. I am not sure of the exact age of this set but it is older. Probably 19 4 0's or 19 5 0's. All the items I sell are pre-owne d and may have wear from age. Use, and storage. One bottle seems to have original stopper. The rest are missing their toppers. The castor unit is made of silver electroplated metal. The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The cruet bottle with stopper is 7" tall Castor sets were popular from the 1890s to the first world war. And were used in the center of every dining table. Condition: Very good pre-owned item. Up for auction is this Vintage Silver CASTOR SET Condiment Cruet with six(6) Bottles. Silver Plate. Pictures tell a much better story than I. There are six bottles, and I can find no chips nicks etc. As you can see from the last pic, it needs a good cleaning, but it does shine very nicely. The date on the base is 1879 and on the opposite side is the name ROSE. Again, in VERY good condition. Antique Victorian Reed and Barton Condiment Cruet Castor 5 Piece Set
Antique Reed and Barton condiment/cruet set. It has 5 bottles. One of which is a little different than the others. It blends in just fine, but does not have the etching that the others do. The top is missing off the mustard jar. There are some chips on the stopper and on the top of the cruet itself where it is ground out so they blend in pretty well. There are a couple manufacturing defects. a couple small bubbles or defects in the glass. A couple of minor dings in the tops of the bottles. No cracks of any kind. I have not cleaned or polished this, I will leave that up to buyer. Overall in good condition for its age. The spoon in the picture is NOT included. Please ask questions before bidding.

~ Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Set ~ Gorgeous 14-piece. All original set made in the 1890s. It includes 6 cut glass crystal bottles with stoppers and 2 silver plate lidded jars. One jar includes a twisted silver plate spoon. The handle is black Bakelite and capped on the ends with decorative silver plate finials. Although this set displays just beautifully. It has some imperfections including tarnish. Fleabites, cracks and flakes. I've taken close-ups to show the most serious flaws. Both faceted stoppers have chips/roughness around their tendrils, one of the mushroom-shaped stoppers has a 3/4" cracked flange, there is a chip out of the rim of one bottle, there are fleabites on some corners and a few flakes around the mouths of the bottles/jars. One bottle has a little cloudiness to it. The others are all pretty clean and shiny. ... moreStill a knock-out set! This is a large set and all together it weighs 6 lbs. The castor is 10.5" long by 5" wide. It is 9" tall and the handle is almost 6" long. The base has 4 silver plated attached ball feet and it is impressed with"E.P.N.S. It definitely shows signs of its over 150 years of age and use but a great piece for someone who wants a restoration project. Antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set, only four bottles
A pretty antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set in very good condition. But with only four bottles instead of five. I can't find a name or mark except for the number 2169 on the bottom. The top design is a child picking apples with a circle on the very top. It doesn't seem to have any dents or any missing silverplate. It is 16" tall x 7" in diam. at the cruet holder. There are two cruets with faceted stoppers. One stopper has a teeny chip on the very top and a teeny chip on one of the points. I think these are daisy and button designs. Those two are 8 3/4" to the top of the stopper. The other two are 8 3/4" tall with silverplate salt shaker tops. One has a small chip on the rim under the screw on top. Everything seems to be great and very pretty.

It may be 6 pieces if you count the caddy. It comes as you see it in the many large photos given. The bottles come as you see them with no cracks. HOWEVER. The two shaker tops are not original to the bottles they are on and only sit atop them and do not screw on as they should. I also do not believe these bottles are a matched set. The only mark on the caddy is underneath. It is stamped 358. I do not know what this means nor to I know the maker. If anyone knows what this mark means please email me with that info. Nice vintage castor. Condiment Cruet Set. With 5 different containers in the Quadruple plate footed stand. It is marked on the bottom Quadruple plate Jaccard& Co. St Louis. The holder does rotate. The jars that go in the castor have a cut glass design, they do need to be cleaned. They are matching. Antique Victorian Sheffield Silver Plate Glass Cruet Castor Condiment Set Tray
Up for auction is a nice antique condiment set. Set comes with two paneled glass bottles with stoppers and two shakers on a silverplate footed stand. Set is overall in good condition. The two shakers each have a chip to the bottom edge. One bottle has a small chip to the bottom edge, wear to the silverplate, the handle on the tray is very loose. Antique 6 Bottle Etched Glass Castor Set By Reed& Barton- Cruet/Condiment Set This antique 6 bottle castor set with revolving silverplate holder was made by Reed& Barton. It is rare to find a set this big with all of the matching pieces. Note the charming cherub on the stem. There are three etched cruets with glass stopper and three with silverplate lids. Of the silverplate lid items there is a salt and pepper set with removable lids and a condiment jar with a lid opening for a spoon. There is some light wear to the finish on the silverplating. Two of the glass stoppers have a chip at the base as shown, and one bottle has a bruise crack on it's base but still holds liquid. Also one of the bottles has a chip on the underside of the lip. This is a beauty! It is a set of 5 matching etched castor bottles that fit into a gorgeous frame that spins. All the bottles are free of any chips or cracks and could use a cleaning. All the silver has been REPLATED and is in amazing shape. The photos show shadows and do not do it justice. As it is nicer than it looks! The handle is very ornate and there is a pretty floral pattern around the outside of the apron. J.B. & Co Silverplate Rotating 5 Cruet & Condiment Castor Set Grapes
This is a gorgeous silver plate rotating cruet castor made by J.B. Co. Great vintage condition. Has a few small dents blemishes including a little wear on the silverplating. See pictures for more details. It measures 16 3/4" tall x 7 3/4" wide and weighs 4 lbs. It is marked on the stand"J.B. Co. Warranted Triple Plate" The condiment holders and cruets all match with a swirl base and hand etched design on the side of the bottles. There are no chips or cracks on the bottles. One of the lids(tall bottle with silverplated lid) does not screw on correctly. There was some tape on the inside holding it on but I have removed it. The detailing on this set is amazing! And shaker jar with lid. The Frame Is Marked EPNS With a Makers Mark J.M.S. In overall good condition. One perfume bottle has a flea-bite on the rim. Both stoppers flea-bites and roughness around the bottom part where they enter the bottles. The shaker lid does not stay put when you shake the bottle and falls off- seems to need to be adjusted. Also some roughness on the rim of the shaker bottle. The glass has some air bubbles and flaws you would expect in glass of this age. I do not believe the silver spoon is original to the set. Antique Victorian 5 Bottle Castor/Condiment/Cruet Set with Rare Glass Base Frame- Rare Up for auction is a RARE Antique 5 bottle castor condiment cruet set on an all glass base frame. The set contains 5 matching bottles: Vinegar& Oil; Salt& Pepper; and a Mustard Jar. The bottles and the skirt have a matching Art Deco looking pattern. The glass sparkles beautifully in the sun and displays very well. See PHOTOS- I've used different color backdrops to show the clarity of the glass. It stands approximately 10" tall(including bottles) The holder is approximately 5 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 1/2" by itself) the bottles are 7 3/4" tall, the shakers are 6" tall, and the mustard bottle is 4 3/4" tall( See PHOTOS) This beautiful RARE set is in overall Excellent Vintage Condition. There are no cracks or repairs ... moreon the base or bottles. All lids fit tightly and will unscrew. There is one chip along the top of the salt shaker but is hidden by the metal cap( See PHOTOS) The glass is rough around the rim of all three lidded bottles and the pepper shaker has some rust on the glass from the cap. See PHOTOS) The ends of each stopper have a couple of'expected' very small chips from age and handling. The silver plating is tarnished and may need re-plating. It looks as though the set had some type of handle because of the two holes in the base. Also. There is no spoon to the mustard jar. Regardless of its minor flaws that comes with age, it is a Beautiful set that is extremely rare to find especially in this condition! Bohemian Condiment/Castor/Cruet Set Ruby Red To Clear Silverplate
Please inspect photos carefully for the imperfections. One shaker bottle is a different style than the other four but not that noticeable on display. One shaker bottle is missing the sleeve that is normally cemented to the bottle rim but has the cap. The third shaker bottle has the sleeve and cap but needs cementing to the bottle. Stopper on the cruet is pretty and fits well but may not be original. The mustard pot is intact. All bottles are well preserved and very attractive. The silverplate castor holder is in good condition and in good working order. It does not have a makers mark that i could see. Bottle holder part turns freely. Bottles are standard castor size. Holder is about 16" to carrier top. It will ship unassembled with great care.
