It's very ornate: The inside of the basket is decorated with a etched motif of flowers and leaves. The outer is fluted like a pie crust. The handle has an intricate filigree ornament in a floral and leaf motif. The bottom rim has a relief fern design. The four feet have an ornate relief scrolled design. This cake stand is in good antique condition: The silver plate appears to be intact over most of the stand; it should polish up nicely. The top of the handle might be slightly bent backward, but I do believe it was made that way. I see some scratches in the center of the basket. The handle will remain standing up if you wish. The stand measures about 9" from table top to top of handle. The basket measures 10" across at its widest. CONDITION NOTE: All of our items are vintage or antique. Antique Victorian Handled Quadruple SilverPlate Basket, 1890s by Derby Silver Co
Marked DERBY SILVER CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE, 1130 on the bottom, this pretty little basket was produced prior to 1898 when the Derby Silver Co became part of International Silver and no longer marked its items Derby Silver. Ruffled collar, retractable handle and hand-hammered texture to the basket sides, she's an unusual piece. The basket is approximately 5 inches wide by 1 1/2 tall; height extends to 5 inches high when the basket handle is extended fully. Any questions. Please ask.

Antique Victorian Simpson Hall Miller Quadruple Silverplate Cup Mug #02 Monogram
Antique Victorian(late 1800s) quadruple silverplate cup or mug made by Simpson. Hall, Miller& Co. There is a pretty clear manufacturer's monogram on the bottom of the cup showing this information. There is also an"02" engraved on the bottom of the mug. The cup is about 4" high and the diameter about 2 1/4" This is small. So it may have been a child's cup, but there is no confirmation of that. The cup has not been polished. So it almost looks like pewter. There are flowers embossed(raised images) around the bottom. The handle is ribbed as if wrapped in rope, but made of the silverplate. The cup was definitely used. The rim is slightly out of round and there are signs of use. But overall, the cup is in good condition for its age. Please contact me with any questions before bidding. Antique marked and hard to find Rockford quadruple silverplate pickle castor frame with diamond pattern glass. No chips or cracks some bubbling in bottom base rim from original production. Heavy glass. The silverplate needs polishing, the lid for the jar is dented outwards on the rim see the picture of the lid on it’s side. This could be repaired, gently hammered back into place. This Quadruple Silverplated Pickle Castor made in Taunton, MA by Beacon Silver Company(later purchased by Rogers) This is#430 and in superb condition. It was owned by a great aunt in the Boston area and the piece was lovingly cared for. Being sold by the owner(not reseller) who loves antiques but is at the point of downsizing. The glass is cut glass and the silver is very tastefully decorated(see photo close ups) This is a RARE piece as it is difficult to find a Beacon made piece and one that has not experienced damage. There are NO defects- no scratches. No chips, no dents. The silver is worn as it would be from many years of polishing- does have a nice patina. Victorian Silverplate Pickle Castor, "Quadruple Rockford 663" Cranberry w/enamel
This is a very fine Victorian quadruple silverplated PICKLE CASTOR frame with Lid and Tongs made by the Rockford Silver Plate Company. The frame has a 12 flute sided CRANBERRY GLASS insert with beautiful enameled daises and for-get-me-not. The lid fits the insert perfectly. The frame is 11 1/2" high and 4" across at the base. The insert is 4 1/4" and it measures 3" across. The bottom of the frame has the Rockford maker's mark and is marked and numbered"Quadruple Rockford Sil_ 663" There is a small chip on the outer side of the glass rim(see photo) of the insert. There is some pitting in the base of the frame but it is covered by the glass insert.

Antique Victorian Quadruple Silverplate Footed Calling Card Receiver Tray Holder
This auction features an antique Victorian silver-plate calling card receiver. Tray or holder. It is marked Rogers, Smith& Co. Meriden CT Quadruple 161. Rogers, Smith& Co was established in 1857. They consolidated in 1861 with Rogers Bros. Mfg. Co. In 1863 the Meriden Britannia Co bought the holloware division of Rogers, Smith of New Haven and it was moved to Meriden in 1866. That is when I believe this was made. It measures 9 1/2" long by 5 3/4" wide by 2 1/4" tall. It has a lovely design typical of that time period with birds and flowers. It is in excellent used condition. Minor silver loss and wear to the metal. There are some faint indentations where feet are attached to the body. One of the little decorative bars on the bottom has become loose but does not show and has no impact on how sturdy this piece is. Antique Victorian Homan Quadruple Silverplate 5 Bottle Castor Set Etched Cruets
This listing is for an antique. Victorian, five bottle castor set. The stand is marked: Homan Silver Plate Co. Quadruple Plate 401. The stand measures about 15.75" to the top of the handle, 5" to the carousel rim, and about 4.5" across the bottom of the base. It does have some plate wear, and the bottom rim of the base is dented, so the stand has a slight wobble. There is also a small dent on the edge of the carousel rim. The shakers are 7.25" tall and 1 5/8" across the bottom. One cruet is 6.5" to the lowest part of the rim, 8.75" to the top of the stopper, and 1 5/8" across the bottom. The stopper has several tiny chips. The other cruet is 6" to lowest part of the rim, 7.75" to the top of the stopper, and the same across the bottom. The bottom of the stopper has a large chip. The condiment ... morejar is 5.25" tall and the same across the bottom. There is a tiny chip on the bottom edge of the jar, and the bottom edge of the cover has a tiny dent. Antique Reed & Barton Victorian Quadruple Silverplate Serving Bowl 547 1850-99
Up for sale is a Reed and Barton Quadruple Silverplated Pedestal Serving Bowl. The reason I believe it is Reed and Barton is because it was made in Taunton. Mass. It has# 547 on the bottom including Taunton, Mass and Quadruple also has something else but cannot make out. The bowl stands 5 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" wide at the top of the bowl the base is almost 4 3/4" wide. It weights 1 lb. 15.8 oz. It has a grape pattern around the top edge, it is a beautiful piece! It needs to be cleaned up and one part of the lip looks like it is bent down more than the others, No dents some scratches. The Quadruple Item are getting scarce and hard to fine as Collector's are keeping these pieces for themself. I try my best to describe my items accurately. I do make mistakes like everyone does.
