With patent ... moreand Registered numbers. Three piece with internal strainer. These shakers were made by Hukin and Heath and sold at Aspreys. Some were marked. This one doesn't have the Asprey name but is the exact shape number, patent and reg number. I n a very good. Original condition. I can count 6 dings on the shaker. The worst being in my opinion on the rim of the handle. It looks mishaped but should be fairly easy to put right. The others range from v small shallow dings to ones that are extremely tiny indeed. This probably all makes it sound in poor condition but it is actually in lovely condition. I like to describe everything, warts and all. I have taken pictures but because of its obvious mirrored finish its very difficult to show anything thats wrong with it. I have seen a couple examples of this and the worst thing that can happen and for any plate items is the plate is wearing and the base metal shows. The plate on this is in lovely unworn condition. Hasn't been cleaned and rubbed like a lot of these shakers often are. Stands 11 inches(28cm) tall. Just under 6 inches in diameter. No reserve and an extremely low starting price. Please examine the pictures as I consider this part of the description- ask questions if you think you see something I have missed. I am not an expert on all items I sell. So if you have added information or see incorrect information, please let me know- I am sure I will never know it all& appreciate any information given. Art Deco Royal Doulton Hukin & Heath Silver Plated Toast Rack & Butter Dish
This is a very unusual item which was most probably originally part of a ladies breakfast tray. The toast rack is silver plated and made by Hukin and Heath with their mark on one of the feet(H& H in 3 circles) together with number 301. On another foot is the English patent number 2070-06 and on the third foot is the French patent Brevete SGDG No. 360032. The pink and white porcelain butter dish is by Royal Doulton and is stamped 1.25 which I believe indicates a date of January 1925. This is confirmed by the backstamp. With no crown under the lion, that was only used from 1922-27. This delightful piece is in very good condition- the silver needs a good clean but I will leave that pleasure to the new owner. There are no chips. Cracks or crazing on the dish. It stands 4.5in/11.5cm high and the dish is 3.25in/8.5cm in diameter. Late Victorian pickle jar with a silver plate pickle clamp Hukin & Heath LTD?
Late Victoian/Edwardian pickle jar with a silver plate clamp holding a pickle fork. This for a plated item is in lovely condition i think made by Hukin and Heath a Birmingham based silversmith and electro plater. The jar is in good condition with a few seeds/inclusions within the glass which makes me think it's Victorian, the rim of the jar has a few small tiny chips i have tried to photograph probably from manufacture and there is a small stress fracture on the inner rim of the lid about 6mm in length as per picture 6. 6 1/4 inches in height. A work of art and design that only the Victorians could come up with would have been expensive in it's day.

Antique Hukin & Heath English Electroplate Lemon Press Silver Plated Circa 1888-
This is a plated silver lemon press by Hukin& Heath of Birmingham& London. England. It is about 11.5” tall with the press all the way down(13.5 with it up) the base is 9.5” in diameter, and the lemon juicer is 3.5” in diameter. It’s a unique and elegant piece, and functional. You place a half of a sliced lemon inside and turn the screw, the juice runs down to a glass you place underneath the lemon. This one is in perfect working order, raising and lowering with ease with absolutely no corrosion. It has a registry mark H&H and an eagle with 4771 below that. This particular one seams to be rarer as it has the cylinders to hold lemons and limes or bottles of sugar and such as well as a hooks for spoons and stirrers. VICTORIAN HUKIN& HEATH BIRMINGHAM SILVER PLATED MATCH STRIKER c1880 Estimated to have been made around the 1880 to 1890 period this silver plated match striker and tray was made by Jonathan Wilson Hukin and John Thomas Heath. That is around the time Christopher Dresser was their chief designer. The design of this piece is simple and stylish with a central housing for matches with a ribbed finish for striking, this is set in the middle of a neat little tray with upturned corners. It is in very good condition for its age with just one small scuff to the tray about the size of a peanut. Otherwise the silver cover is good and possesses a good shine factor. Displays well. HUKIN & HEATH LEMON SQUEEZER
Rare silver plate lemon squeezer by famous silversmiths Hukin& Heath of Birmingham. The top in the form of lemon with a simulated branch for the handle which is attached to the thread of the interior juicer. May have been designed by Christopher Dresser who worked for Hukin& Heath at this time. There are a number of designs. Some more elaborate than others. There are no dents. Silver plating is not thin(base metal not showing) and it still works. It was a family piece, have no attachment, looking to sell.

Stunning silver plated toast rack made in the shape of a leaf with 5 pear outlines for holding toasts. Beautiful and elegant piece with a very unusual design. The toast rack is made by Hukin& Heath of Birmingham. Hukin& Heath. Active as manufacturing silversmiths and electroplaters, were established in Birmingham in 1855. In 1875 the firm entered its mark in Birmingham Assay Office, while in 1879 the founders entered their mark in London Assay Office. The firm was active at Imperial Works, Birmingham and in the showrooms in London. In 1904 the business was converted into a limited liability company under the style Hukin& Heath Ltd.
