One bottle seems to have original stopper. The rest are missing their toppers. The castor unit is made of silver electroplated metal. The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The cruet bottle with stopper is 7" tall Castor sets were popular from the 1890s to the first world war. And were used in the center of every dining table. Condition: Very good pre-owned item. Silverplate has worn on handles and in other places on the piece. 4 bottles on missing their toppers. Every bo ttle has a different pattern. So they may not all be original t o the castor set. But from the same era- do not know. This is a rare find and can be a great piece to add to your collection. I am not an antique dealer so if you have any questions at all. Silverplate Victorian Castor Set Frame
This is an original victorian era frame for a five bottle castor set that has recently been re-silverplated. It is a very impressive piece which stands 17 1/2" tall and. Thanks to the replating, looks clean and untarnished. There is one small. 1/4" wide impression on the rim and, as visible in the pictures, an old scratch to the area between two of the holes but otherwise the piece looks almost new. The diameter of the holes for bottles is 1 7/8" Because of the plating, the only part of the mark still readable is"Quadruple" Anyone lucky enough to have a set of bottles to fit this frame could become the owners of a very impressive item. Antique Victorian Rogers Smith Silverplate Castor Set Six Stag Deer Head RARE
Up for auction is a fabulous antique silverplate castor set with six glass cruets. The silverplate features a stag on each point. There is a woman above each head and a floral motif. It stands an impressive 18-1/2” The glass bottles are not a matching set. But all six are included. The glass stoppers on two of the bottles show damage. The three bottles with the glass lids all show rim chips. There is some silverplate loss. There is a monogram(FGS) on the base. The bottom is marked“Rogers Smith& Co#1656 New Haven CT” Rogers Smith& Co was established in 1862 and bought by Meriden in 1863. Triple Plate on Hard White Metal. The silverplate is nearly all gone but the handle has a beautiful design and the base and turntable have a very pretty etched design. The stand is 17.0" high and the turntable is 8.0" in diameter. There is a slight indentation on the base rim. The piece came with only 3 bottles- 2 shakers and the sugar jar. The silverplate is also worn on these. And they have a frosted or etched leaf design. The shakers are 8.0" tall and the sugar jar is 6.5" tall. On one shaker the lid was at some time cemented onto the bottle and the top unscrews. The other shaker is not cemented and does not stay on- ... moreno threads inside the top. This bottle is very rough around the top rim. The sugar jar lid does not come off- it has a hinged top. NOTE: The stand separates into 3 pieces and will be shipped unassembled. Victorian Silverplate Revolving Castor Set
Fine Victorian Silverplate six bottle revolving castor set. Bird motif at the top of the handle. Etched glass bottles. One of the hinged lids is separated from the rim as shown in picture and one of the stoppers doesn't sit all the way into the bottle(doesn't fall out though) The height is approximately 17-3/4" to the top of the handle. I don't see any marks. There is no wear to the plating. the tops of the salt and pepper are perfect. Which is very unusual for one of these sets. Please email me with any questions.

Just acquired out of a wonderful Private Midwest estate. We are able to offer this exceptionally hard to find, ~ MERIDEN FIGURAL SILVERPLATE DRESSER SET WITH ALL THREE ORIGINAL CUT& ETCHED GLASS BOTTLES ~. We have never seen this early example of Meriden silverplate, and I am quite certain that not many were ever made or exist as well. It is marked MERIDEN SILVER CO# 46 and dates to the early 1880's we would estimate. It measures 15 inches tall by 10 inches wide by 5 inches deep. It is in very nice condition, although it could use a gentle polishing. The silverplate looks to be in pretty nice condition with some fairly minor expected wear from age and use. The amazing thing is that this set was found with all three original cut glass inserts that are in fabulous condition! There are two cologne bottles and one lidded powder jar in ... morethe upper center. There are no chips or cracks on any of the pieces and only a few little flea bites around where the stoppers go in the cologn bottles. I can't imagine that you could ever find a nicer example to add to your Victorian silverplate collection than this one here. There are 5 bottles, 3 of the bottles are matching with an etched flower design around them and the other 2 have a thumb print cut, I do not believe the 2 bottles that are not etched are original to the set plus the stopper is missing on the one bottle. Beautiful Rogers Smith& Co. silverplate revolving castor set. I believe this dates from 1862-65. Fine quality silverplate in exceptional condition. Simple but elegantly designed. The bottles have an etched circle pattern all the way down to the bottom of the bottle. The five bottles are all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and all have their tops. The 2 tall bottles have 2 different stoppers but similar. The are both blown but different shape don't know if they were supposed to be that way or one was replaced. Both fit perfectly. The silverplate is in excellent condition and is shined up. There is one small spot on the top where the holes for the bottles are where there is a small spot of mild wear but this is barely noticeable at all. Some aesthetic detail, and around the part that holds the bottles the scene is deer pulling a sleigh with cupids or putti or something similar. Spins smoothly, a couple small dents, a little out of shape, no idea how or if the plate will clean up. Up for sale a lovely antique condiment/cruet castor set-silverplate. This has an engraved carousel and includes the salt& pepper shakers. A mustard jar and the vinegar& oil cruets. The bottles are etched with a pretty design,and are in great condition with the exception of 1 small chip on the edge of one of the cruets. Also the bottom of one of the stoppers has some chipping on the piece that fits in the bottle. I also noted a small chip spot on the metal of the mustard jar.Please see all pictures-I try to note everything I see. This has no markings, Mother" is engraved on the side of the carousel-picture 3. The rim along the side has beautiful engraving of leaves and a pretty scrolling design-runs around the entire rim. Also the bottom has the number 35 imprinted. This auction is for an 1880 era antique Victorian silver plated castor set. Marked: MERIDEN B(Brittania) COMPANY- This elegant tableware serving set was made in Meriden, Conn. and consists of 5 bottles or jars that are cut to clear cobalt blue with the same pattern on each side of each jar. There is a vinegar and oil set with glass stoppers, a salt and pepper set and a condiment jar with the original spoon. They rest on a rotating lazy Susan type tray with a tall handle and the perimeter of the tray features engraved or impressed floral designs. Overall this complete set is in excellent condition with a few very minor details. I think the silver plate was probably polished prior to the opening of the estate sale where it was obtained and there may be a few little areas that might need touched up but there are no dents or noticeable scratches. ... moreThere is one very tiny fleabite on one of the glass stoppers on the side edge where it begins to taper up to a point. The pepper shaker does not have the top little finial attached like the salt shaker does but it is included inside the bottle. The spoon has an A.S. monogram on the end. The tops of the salt and pepper jars show some copper where the silver plate is worn. There are no other chips, cracks, fleabites, or scratches on the glass bottles. Otherwise it is fully functional, appears only very lightly used, and overall in excellent condition in my opinion. The larger jars measure approx. 7 1/2" and 8" tall, the condiment jar is 5 1/2" tall, the top of the handle is 15" the 5 hole tray is 8" in diameter, and the total weight is 4 lbs. 3 oz. As always. Antique 5 Bottle Simpson Hall & Miller Quadruple Silverplate Castor Cruet Set
This listing is for an antique. Five bottle castor set. The stand is marked: Simpson, Hall, Miller& Co Quadruple Plate 116. It measures about 6.25" across the top, 4.75" to the rim, 15" to the top of the handle, and 5" across the bottom of the base. The holes are just a little under 2" across. The cruets are cut and etched, and the pattern on one is a little different. All three measure 6.5" to the rim, and 9" to the top of the stopper. The stoppers have tiny chips. The shakers are 6.75" tall. The silverplate needs polishing, and is worn off the handle. Shipping is based on 9lbs, packed weight.

Antique silverplate castor set by Walker& Hall. There is an initial A engraved on the holder. The bottom says"Warranted hard& silver soldering. This is a silverplate set and is not silver. It has 4 cut glass bottles. It measures overall about 9" tall. One bottle is cloudy appearing. Chipped base and part of the screw top is missing. It coordinates with the other bottles, but I don't think it is original to the set. See pictures 8& 9. The edges of the bottle with the stopper has a rough grind with very tiny chips(felt, but not seen) The stopper is in good condition. The small bottle bottom edge is a little rough with a chip. The top does not screw on, it is missing the rim on the base, see pictures 6& 7. The small mustard jar has very small chips on the bottom edge, very hard to see without a magnifier. Antique Vtg Wilcox Silverplate Servant Brass Bell Castor Lavender Cruets Set
This 7 piece bell cruet set came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked on the bottom Quadruple Plate Wilcox Silveplate Co 545. The stand has a brass bell that works. Maybe for calling a servant. At one time there may have been a handle on the bell as there are two marks on either side of the bell, see the 7th picture. The ring on the stand has an etched floral design. The stand measures 11 1/4" high and 7 1/2" wide at the widest point. I have tried to clean the silver plate, but not much of the tarnish came off. I used Wright's silver cream, maybe there is a stronger product that could possibly get the tarnish off. There are wear marks. The cruets have a lavender tint. The cruets do not all match. Two of them match each other but not exactly the other four. All have an etched floral/leaf design and a light lavender tint. ... moreThey are in good condition. One cruet has a rub mark on the top that the camera did not show. Two of the stoppers have chips. One on the bottom and the other has two small chips with a rub mark. The three cruets with stoppers measure about 8 1/4" high with the stoppers in place. The two cruets with shaker tops measure 7 3/4" high. The smaller cruet measures 5 3/4" high.

You are bidding on an 1890 era antique Victorian silver plated castor set. This elegant tableware serving set consists of 6 bottles or jars that are cut and etched. I believe 4 bottles match with the same pattern and two additional bottles are a little different in pattern but are very close. There is a vinegar and oil set with glass stoppers. A salt and pepper set and a condiment jar with no spoon, an extra shaker maybe for sugar. They rest on a rotating lazy Susan type tray with a tall handle and the perimeter of the tray features floral designs with lily of the valley and flowers and foliage. Unmarked. Overall this set is in Very Good Antique condition with a few very minor details. One glass stopper is chipped on the end that goes into the bottle and the bottle has a long crack running down the side and cracks around the neck( but is ... moreintact and appears to be inside and not on the outside) There are a few very tiny dings and a few minor scratches from age to the silver plate(nothing to distraction) Otherwise it is fully functional. This auction is for a Vintage Ruby Cut to Clear Glass Pickle Castor Set. Isn't this gorgeous? This beautiful Pickle Castor is 10" tall. The silverplate has 2 doves or lovebirds at the top. I can't find a mark on it anywhere. I also haven't tried to clean it. The lid has grapes and leaves. The Glass insert is beautiful. It doesn't have any mould lines. The color is deep and vibrant. There's a teeny amount of roughness on the inner rim. Very very minimal. Not sure of the age or manufacturer- I just know it's beautiful! No chips. Cracks, or repairs. Check out my other items! Rogers & Bros Silverplate Cruet Castor Set 5 Crystal Etched Bottles Waterbury CT
This is a antique castor set marked Rogers& Bro. Waterbury Conn 2037. This number is also found on the underside of the three silverplated tops. There are 5 fitted bottles for salt. Pepper, oil, vinegar, and mustard. The bottles have no chips or cracks. The salt and pepper tops no longer fit securely onto the glass, whatever substance may have held them in place is long gone. The shaker part of the tops screw and unscrew easily. The glass stoppers both have blunted tips. The mustard pot is missing its spoon. The glass is etched with a leaf and berry design; the silverplate holder is etched with a grape( leaf motif. Weight is 4 1/2 pounds. Height of this piece is approx 13- 14"

Antique Parker & Casper W Meriden 6 Pc Cruet Set Castor Silverplate King Queen
This old six piece cruet with carousel came from an auction in Vermont. The bottom of the carousel is marked Parker& Casper West Meriden 970. The stand measures 14 1/2" high and about 7 1/2" in diameter at the widest point. The handle of the stand has a small engraving of man on one side and a woman on the other. Possibly a king and queen. The stand has a lot of tarnishing that probably will not come off. It has some scratching and wear. The cruets do not match. They measure from 7 to 8 1/2" high with the stopper in place. I am not sure if the stoppers are original to the bottles. The stoppers have chipping, one has a larger chip on the bottom. The top of two of the cruets that have stoppers have chips on the rims. One of these cruets has a crack line across the bottom, see the 7th picture. Two of the tops of the shaker ... morecruets screw on, the other top needs to be re-glued. There are chips under the tops that can be seen when the tops are taken off. Three cruets are plain with no design. One of these cruets does not sit flat into the holder. Everything together weighs about five pounds.

Fancy Antique Silverplate Pickle Castor Set W/ Northwood Cranberry Sprig Inset
Nice old antique circa 1900 Silverplate Hickerboch Company(I think that is what the base mark says) silverplate pickle castor with Northwood Cranberry Paneled Sprig Pattern Hand Decorated Enamel Painted Glass Insert with metal lid. Its a pretty set. The cranberry glass insert is in good condition with the only minor thing being some very small nicking on the top edge.seen only when the metal is removed and its is examined very closely. The metal lid has a small ding in the bottom edge and is a bit out of round but still looks great on the set and fits nicely over the cranberry pickle glass insert. The frame is marked on the bottom and it looks to me like it says Hickerboch Silverplate Co. not sure its hard to see. The frame is 10 3/4" high. The glass insert is 4 1/4" high and 2 7/8" wide across the top measured with the lid ... moreremoved. The set originally had a pickle tong that hung from the frame but this one was missing when I got it. They can be bought easily on Ebay if desired. This is a really pretty old set and its just in from a quality filled local estate. Starting auction price is very reasonable so don't miss it.

Up for auction is a nice example of an antique Victorian cruet castor set made by the Meriden Silver Plate Company. This is a rotating castor or cruet set with 6 etched and dimpled glass bottles. The holder stands about 14 1/2" tall to the top of the handle. It is engraved with the hallmark of a lion and the words" MERIDEN SILVER PLATE. CO. QUADRUPLE PLATE" with the No. 0348. The bottles include; a salt& pepper holder with silverplate caps. Each about 7 1/2" tall, 3 oil/vinegar bottles, about 9" tall including the glass stoppers. And 1 mustard style bottle that is about 5 1/2" tall with a hinged silverplate lid. The holder has nice detail at the top handle, and engraved design on the hanging edge. See enlarged photos for condition. The silverplate is tarnished and has scratches and minor loss to the silverplate ... morein spots. Three of the glass bottles are in excellent condition. But the 3 oil/ vinegar bottles all have chips at the top(in the same spot on each) and the stoppers have missing bottoms/chipped bottoms. As you can tell from the photos, these are not as obvious when used in display. I HAVE NOT CLEANED! Photos taken with and with out flash. This is a gorgeous silver plate rotating cruet castor made by J.B. Co. Great vintage condition. Has a few small dents blemishes including a little wear on the silverplating. See pictures for more details. It measures 16 3/4" tall x 7 3/4" wide and weighs 4 lbs. It is marked on the stand"J.B. Co. Warranted Triple Plate" The condiment holders and cruets all match with a swirl base and hand etched design on the side of the bottles. There are no chips or cracks on the bottles. One of the lids(tall bottle with silverplated lid) does not screw on correctly. There was some tape on the inside holding it on but I have removed it. The detailing on this set is amazing! Antique Victorian Homan Quadruple Silverplate 5 Bottle Castor Set Etched Cruets
This listing is for an antique. Victorian, five bottle castor set. The stand is marked: Homan Silver Plate Co. Quadruple Plate 401. The stand measures about 15.75" to the top of the handle, 5" to the carousel rim, and about 4.5" across the bottom of the base. It does have some plate wear, and the bottom rim of the base is dented, so the stand has a slight wobble. There is also a small dent on the edge of the carousel rim. The shakers are 7.25" tall and 1 5/8" across the bottom. One cruet is 6.5" to the lowest part of the rim, 8.75" to the top of the stopper, and 1 5/8" across the bottom. The stopper has several tiny chips. The other cruet is 6" to lowest part of the rim, 7.75" to the top of the stopper, and the same across the bottom. The bottom of the stopper has a large chip. The condiment ... morejar is 5.25" tall and the same across the bottom. There is a tiny chip on the bottom edge of the jar, and the bottom edge of the cover has a tiny dent. Bohemian Condiment/Castor/Cruet Set Ruby Red To Clear Silverplate
Please inspect photos carefully for the imperfections. One shaker bottle is a different style than the other four but not that noticeable on display. One shaker bottle is missing the sleeve that is normally cemented to the bottle rim but has the cap. The third shaker bottle has the sleeve and cap but needs cementing to the bottle. Stopper on the cruet is pretty and fits well but may not be original. The mustard pot is intact. All bottles are well preserved and very attractive. The silverplate castor holder is in good condition and in good working order. It does not have a makers mark that i could see. Bottle holder part turns freely. Bottles are standard castor size. Holder is about 16" to carrier top. It will ship unassembled with great care.

19th Century Gorham Silver Plate. Wonderful antique vinegar castor made by Gorham Mfg. Co. of Providence Rhode Island. The silverplated stand is marked with Gorham’s“F” year code used in 1873. The oval castor stand holds six gourmet flavored vinegar bottles. These bottles have their original foil labels and their cork and glass stoppers are still attached with twine to the necks. The bottles were made in Paris France. And have the labels from the Maille company. Purveyors of gourmet mustards, vinegars, and other condiments since 1747. This set would look great for display in a fine restaurant or a chef’s kitchen. One of the vinegar flavors is called“Flavor of English Sauce” and the others include Truffle, Horse-Radish, Raspberry, Bourgogne Garanti, and Pimento.
