One bottle seems to have original stopper. The rest are missing their toppers. The castor unit is made of silver electroplated metal. The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Up for sale a lovely antique condiment/cruet castor set-silverplate. This has an engraved carousel and includes the salt& pepper shakers. A mustard jar and the vinegar& oil cruets. The bottles are etched with a pretty design,and are in great condition with the exception of 1 small chip on the edge of one of the cruets. Also the bottom of one of the stoppers has some chipping on the piece that fits in the bottle. I also noted a small chip spot on the metal of the mustard jar.Please see all pictures-I try to note everything I see. This has no markings, Mother" is engraved on the side of the carousel-picture 3. The rim along the side has beautiful engraving of leaves and a pretty scrolling design-runs around the entire rim. Also the bottom has the number 35 imprinted. There is an old receipt from the previous owner showing purchased ... morein 1981 from the Galloping Horse Antique Store-with original purchase price of $250.00. Which I would send with the holder. A nice set-not perfect but I was told this dates from late 1800's to early 1900's-although I will say I am definitely not an expert on this. Also I have not cleaned the silverplate-I think its coloring gives it character. And they measure between 5 3/4" and 8 1/2" tall. The silver plating appears to be similar to the plating on old water pitchers and hotel/restaurant silver pieces. Being offered is a beautiful 19th Century Victorian Aesthetic period castor set made by Meriden Britannia Company. This set measures 6" in diameter. Is 11" tall and weighs 3 lbs 2 oz with the bottles. The condition overall is good with plenty of wear. The frame is bent at the tip and the top level of the frame is bent down from the weight of the bottles. Three of the bottles look original and the the forth is likely a replacement. The shaker top is loose on one and there is a fracture and missing stopper in another. The mustard server is fine but has no spoon. The frame is marked as shown and the surface is in very good condition and would polish up nicely. Fresh from a recent local estate. Please see my other auctions for more quality finds. SILVERPLATE CUT GLASS CRUET SET CONDIMENT VNTG. UNKNOWN MAKER
A 3 bottle cut glass cruet set in a silverplated holder. The holder has a basket weave design and is rectangular in shape with a twisted rope-style round handle. All the glass bottles are in good condition with no chips. Cracks or cloudiness, and are particularly well made and cut, with a good weight to them. The top of the shaker has some wear to the silverplate and will also need to be refitted with alabaster to regain it's tight fit. A very attractive centerpiece for the table. Measurements: 5 7/8ths inch long x 4 inches wide. Depth to top of basket weave- approx 2 inches. To the top of the handle: 8.5 inches. It weighs 36 oz.

it measures approx. 9" tall by 8.75" long. the bottom of the tray is marked in circles H&H and then a eagle. the two matching spoons have different hall marks. the two cups match. But have no hall marks. all the crystal match and looks hand blown[ but no expert here] the caps on the crystal pieces have no marks. one unscrews the other has a hinge opening. the feet are very pronounced ball and claw. the handle is pretty fancy also. no dents or damage. some silver loss especially on the spoons. This is a charming set of shakers plus mustard/spoon container. They are in very nice condition. Were never used, display only. I found them at an estate sale in the early 70's in a small town near Telluride. The caps work perfectly, screw/unscrew with ease. The shakers stand 2 1/2" tall the holder stands 4" at the handle and the set is 5 1/2" deep. On all pieces the bottom reads"M331" and the# 4 on the pepper, 3 on salt& 15 on mustard. Item measures 2 1/8 inches tall. And approx. 1 3/4 inch diameter. Marked on bottom with maker and numbered# 6156. Good condition with no dents In my store I have as of 1-28-15 eight of these Apollo Holders. One numbered 6155, two numbered 6157, two numbered 6156, one numbered 6704, one numbered 6152, and one numbered 6151 The Apollo Silver Company was based in New York and in 1872 it merged with the Redfield& Rice Company. Forming Bernard Rice’s Sons. Bernard Rice's Sons went out of business prior to 1958. This dates them somewhere between 1872- 1958 but I don't know any more than that. Antique set. Rainbow on silver. 6 glass canister, one is missing a stopper. Beautiful etching on the glass. Two types of etchings. There are six pieces but there are 2 styles of etchings 4 of one kind and 2 of another. There is some corrosion on tops of a few of the glasses. From a local estate. Here is an antique silverplate castor set made by Wm Rogers Mfg. 16" tall with a swivel base and 5 original or nicely somewhat matched hand cut and etched bottles and caps. Only one bottle has a small chip(not visible when in the tray) on the bottom and appears a bit foggy- have not tried to clean it. See photos for all details and condition. Antique Silverplate Condiment Set. Very Unique: for the inventive decorator this condiment set is just right. The silver plate set dates back to the end of the 19 th century and was probably used for condiments related to oysters or shell fish. You can have a pot of hot sauce. A saffron mayonnaise and a cilantro sauce. The small cylinder like containers on the corners would hold bouquets of parsley, chives and cilantro. The set consists of a plateau on four ball feet with the small screw on cylinders at the corners. In the center are three pots. Each with a lid, one with a dome lid. The pots fits just so in their slots and the lids also fit just one way. Give them a slight twist and they are closed tight. Condition is good for its age; there is some rose shines of the underlying copper as is normal for a piece this age. There is one spot ... moreon one of the small cylinders that has lost all plating and some of the little petals on the cylinders are somewhat bent. The set is completely unmarked, indicating it was made before the McKinley Tariff Act. Measurements are: 7 5/8” by 4 ¼” platform. Marked PM Italy on the bottom. Set is in excellent condition. The bottles are so clean, it appears unused. No splits or cracks on the glass. Caddy with reticulated sides, has unique plastic or lucite sections for the bottles. This is also in excellent condition.

J.B. & Co Silverplate Rotating 5 Cruet & Condiment Castor Set Grapes
This is a gorgeous silver plate rotating cruet castor made by J.B. Co. Great vintage condition. Has a few small dents blemishes including a little wear on the silverplating. See pictures for more details. It measures 16 3/4" tall x 7 3/4" wide and weighs 4 lbs. It is marked on the stand"J.B. Co. Warranted Triple Plate" The condiment holders and cruets all match with a swirl base and hand etched design on the side of the bottles. There are no chips or cracks on the bottles. One of the lids(tall bottle with silverplated lid) does not screw on correctly. There was some tape on the inside holding it on but I have removed it. The detailing on this set is amazing! And shaker jar with lid. The Frame Is Marked EPNS With a Makers Mark J.M.S. In overall good condition. One perfume bottle has a flea-bite on the rim. Both stoppers flea-bites and roughness around the bottom part where they enter the bottles. The shaker lid does not stay put when you shake the bottle and falls off- seems to need to be adjusted. Also some roughness on the rim of the shaker bottle. The glass has some air bubbles and flaws you would expect in glass of this age. I do not believe the silver spoon is original to the set. Bohemian Condiment/Castor/Cruet Set Ruby Red To Clear Silverplate
Please inspect photos carefully for the imperfections. One shaker bottle is a different style than the other four but not that noticeable on display. One shaker bottle is missing the sleeve that is normally cemented to the bottle rim but has the cap. The third shaker bottle has the sleeve and cap but needs cementing to the bottle. Stopper on the cruet is pretty and fits well but may not be original. The mustard pot is intact. All bottles are well preserved and very attractive. The silverplate castor holder is in good condition and in good working order. It does not have a makers mark that i could see. Bottle holder part turns freely. Bottles are standard castor size. Holder is about 16" to carrier top. It will ship unassembled with great care.
