The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The cruet bottle with stopper is 7" tall Castor sets were popular from the 1890s to the first world war. And were used in the center of every dining table. Condition: Very good pre-owned item. Silverplate has worn on handles and in other places on the piece. 4 bottles on missing their toppers. Every bo ttle has a different pattern. So they may not all be original t o the castor set. Wilcox Silver Plated Bottle Castor Frame- No Bottles
Nice condition on this silverplated bottle castor frame. Manufactured by Wilcox Silver Plate Co of Meriden, Conn. This will need some silver polish, but the plating seems to be in nice condition, and should clean up just fine. This frame will accept 5 bottles. The rotating bottle holder is not perfectly flat, but close, and is engraved, as pictured. The handle is quite attractive, as pictured. No reserve once the opening bid is met.

Antique Victorian Condiment Castor with Five Etched Glass Bottles
Up for auction is an antique Victorian ornate condiment castor. There are 5 bottles with the castor and all the bottles appear to be original to the silver plated castor. I am certain that one stopper is not original to the cruet bottle and I am not sure about the other one. None of the bottles are cracked. But the bottles with the lids have chips around the rims(can't be seen due to the lids) The castor was made by Boston Silverplate. Circa 1900. It has a lovely patina. It is approximately 16 1/2 tall. The bottles are all etched.

Bakelite SP & Cut Glass Oblong Victorian Cruet Condiment Castor Set 6 Bottles
~ Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Set ~ Gorgeous 14-piece. All original set made in the 1890s. It includes 6 cut glass crystal bottles with stoppers and 2 silver plate lidded jars. One jar includes a twisted silver plate spoon. The handle is black Bakelite and capped on the ends with decorative silver plate finials. Although this set displays just beautifully. It has some imperfections including tarnish. Fleabites, cracks and flakes. I've taken close-ups to show the most serious flaws. Both faceted stoppers have chips/roughness around their tendrils, one of the mushroom-shaped stoppers has a 3/4" cracked flange, there is a chip out of the rim of one bottle, there are fleabites on some corners and a few flakes around the mouths of the bottles/jars. One bottle has a little cloudiness to it. The others are all pretty clean and shiny. ... moreStill a knock-out set! This is a large set and all together it weighs 6 lbs. The castor is 10.5" long by 5" wide. It is 9" tall and the handle is almost 6" long. The base has 4 silver plated attached ball feet and it is impressed with"E.P.N.S. Antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set, only four bottles
A pretty antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set in very good condition. But with only four bottles instead of five. I can't find a name or mark except for the number 2169 on the bottom. The top design is a child picking apples with a circle on the very top. It doesn't seem to have any dents or any missing silverplate. It is 16" tall x 7" in diam. at the cruet holder. There are two cruets with faceted stoppers. One stopper has a teeny chip on the very top and a teeny chip on one of the points. I think these are daisy and button designs. Those two are 8 3/4" to the top of the stopper. The other two are 8 3/4" tall with silverplate salt shaker tops. One has a small chip on the rim under the screw on top. Everything seems to be great and very pretty.

Antique silverplate castor set by Walker& Hall. There is an initial A engraved on the holder. The bottom says"Warranted hard& silver soldering. This is a silverplate set and is not silver. It has 4 cut glass bottles. It measures overall about 9" tall. One bottle is cloudy appearing. Chipped base and part of the screw top is missing. It coordinates with the other bottles, but I don't think it is original to the set. See pictures 8& 9. The edges of the bottle with the stopper has a rough grind with very tiny chips(felt, but not seen) The stopper is in good condition. The small bottle bottom edge is a little rough with a chip. The nuts on the bottom do not match, and are probably not original to the piece. The bottles all match but one stopper is not correct. They are all in very good codition. It has 4 ball feet. Antique Victorian Cruet Castor Set with Amberina Glass Bottles
Offered is a beautiful and rare Victorian Era antique castor set with amber glass bottles. The silver-plate holder is marked Meriden B. Co. USA. The bottles have an etched leaf or wheat design and inverted thumbprints. There is some damage to the neck of the mustard bottle. There is a linear crack with two small chips at each end. I've pictured the damage for the buyer to evaluate. The other bottles are free of chips or cracks. I cannot get the lids off to clean them. The silver-plate stand is in good condition. I began polishing the underside and it cleaned up nicely. I'll continue to gently polish it with a soft polishing cloth for the new owner. The stand measures 13 1/2 inches tall. The mustard measures 6 inches tall, the shakers stand 7 1/2 inches tall as does the cruet without the stopper. 2 Antique Silver plate Castor Sets. Victorian 1880's with 11 Etched Glass Bottles Here is a RARE combination of Antiquities for your bidding pleasure. We have purchased these pieces at various estate auctions over the years. And have decided to group all pieces together for this one auction. This auction consists of 2 Antique Silver Server Castors. One has the hallmark. Of Simpson Hall Miller& Company on the bottom. The SIMPSON. HALL, MILLER& CO was originally from Wallingford CT. Organized in 1866 by Samuel Simpson, the company became part of International Silver Co. in 1898. This Silver Castor is missing the top handle. So it can be picked up by the center protrusion with is a threaded rod ready for a screw on handle. We unfortunately do not have the handle, without its top handle this set is 8" tall. There is a small silver"top ... moreknob" which has a pineapple on top, but we do not know if it is actually part of this ensemble. This loose knob piece does not fit onto anything. The 7 ¼" diameters x 1⅜" tall six bottle rack revolved easily without the handle and is decorated with the wheat and floral pattern on the sides. The rack sits atop a 5⅛" diameters base. The second Silver Server Castor is not marked as to maker. And it stands 12" tall from the bottom to the top tip of the handle. The six bottle rack revolves easily and has six 2" round silver holders for bottles. The pedestal base has a silver beaded decoration all the way around the 4 ½" diameter base. We have 11 etched bottles which are included with the Castors. The bottle fit into either server. Here is a short description of the Etched Glass bottles: 1. The shortest bottle is 4 ½" tall and it has a silver top with an lift up lid. And a small side slot for a thin spoon. This is probably a Mustard pot. Since it has a metal lid with an opening for a small serving spoon. This bottle has etching both around the 6 sided top and also around the 8 sided bottle portion. 2. The next talles

Rogers & Bros Silverplate Cruet Castor Set 5 Crystal Etched Bottles Waterbury CT
This is a antique castor set marked Rogers& Bro. Waterbury Conn 2037. This number is also found on the underside of the three silverplated tops. There are 5 fitted bottles for salt. Pepper, oil, vinegar, and mustard. The bottles have no chips or cracks. The salt and pepper tops no longer fit securely onto the glass, whatever substance may have held them in place is long gone. The shaker part of the tops screw and unscrew easily. The glass stoppers both have blunted tips. The mustard pot is missing its spoon. The glass is etched with a leaf and berry design; the silverplate holder is etched with a grape( leaf motif. Weight is 4 1/2 pounds. Height of this piece is approx 13- 14"

This is a beauty! It is a set of 5 matching etched castor bottles that fit into a gorgeous frame that spins. All the bottles are free of any chips or cracks and could use a cleaning. 6 Victorian Condiment/Castor/Cruet Set etched bottles all MATCHING
This is an amazing set of 6 matching etched castor bottles that fit into a frame that spins. All the bottles are free of any chips or cracks. The original matching mustard lid and one shaker lid are both in excellent shape. Match each other and are original to the set. They look like they have been re-plated. The other original matching shaker lid is in rough shape but is included if you want it. See second photo. I replaced the it with a different lid. Antique Silverplate Cruet Castor Set With Square Bottles Shaker& Condiment And Square Shape Footed Frame Two perfume bottle style decanters with faced glass toppers; Jar with lid and a hallmarked spoon. And shaker jar with lid. The Frame Is Marked EPNS With a Makers Mark J.M.S. In overall good condition. One perfume bottle has a flea-bite on the rim. Both stoppers flea-bites and roughness around the bottom part where they enter the bottles. The shaker lid does not stay put when you shake the bottle and falls off- seems to need to be adjusted. Also some roughness on the rim of the shaker bottle. The glass has some air bubbles and flaws you would expect in glass of this age. I do not believe the silver spoon is original to the set. The frame has tarnish and I did not try to polish it. It also has some plate loss- please look at pictures ... moreIt does have remnants of silver polish. The frame measures 9 1/4" Tall x 5 3/4" square base; The bottles with stoppers are 5 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" square base; the shaker stands 6" with with a 1 1/2" square base; the condiment stands 4" with a 1 1/2" square base.
