Up for auction Antique Victorian Castor Condiment Cruet Set in Silverplate with 5 Bottles Victorian Silverplate 5 Bottle Castor Set Condiment Set Each bottle is decorated with a wheel etched pattern and design and every bottle is slightly different in design and shape. One bottle seems to have original stopper. The rest are missing their toppers. The castor unit is made of silver electroplated metal. The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. The cruet bottle with stopper is 7" tall Castor sets were popular from the 1890s to the first world war. And were used in the center of every dining table. Condition: Very good pre-owned item. Silverplate has worn on handles and in other places on the piece. 4 bottles on missing their toppers. Every bo ... morettle has a different pattern. Antique Silverplated Castor Cruet Set in Brass That May Have Been Plated Holder
I am guessing at the age of this set. I think it's from the late 1800's from the research of the bottles. It also seems like this brass holder was at one time silverplated and that was wore or polished off because I detect some silver left. It now resembles a very pleasing two tone finish. I sell all my items in"as found" condition so no cleaning or polishing is ever done by me to preserve the patina. It would be really pretty all cleaned up. There are very small chips around the tops of bottles where the lids go so you can't see them but they are pictured. The lids of the bottles appear to be silverplated. It has 5 of the original bottles and one replacement. A more suitable replacement can be found on Ebay that matches better and is more age appropriate. The inside of the bottles could probably be cleaned up as well. ... moreVery nice set and it's larger than most. The cruet or castor set measures 9 inches long by 7.5 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Very ornate handle and feet. Beautiful engraving or etching on the entire base. The most detailed set and almost completely original. There are stamps which were put under a very high powered microscope and was still hard to make them out. The first stamp inside a sort of oval is possibly EP or JP. The next stamp is what appears to be a fancy 8. The following stamp is maybe a duck's head. The next appears to be a 76 possibly for 1876? The last stamp could be a 31 or 3I or a type of anchor. Not sure on any of them but especially the last one. Any experts out there may know what these mean but I couldn't figure it out. No other maker's mark that can be seen. This set would be a wonderful gift!

19th Century Victorian Bohemian Cut to Clear Cobalt Blue Cruet Castor Set
This a BEAUTIFUL Antique Cruet Set. It is in very good condition! There are not chips or cracks in any of the glass jars. It is a set of 5 salt and pepper. Oil and vinegar, and mustard jar. The oil and vinigar jars measure 8.5 inches tall and the salt and pepper shakers measure 7.5 inches tall the mustard jar is 5.5 inches tall. The glass is a cobalt blue with cut to clear patterns on them. The antique stand is quadruple silver plate and the cruet holder turns lazy susan style. The stand measure 15.5 iches high. Triple Plate on Hard White Metal. The silverplate is nearly all gone but the handle has a beautiful design and the base and turntable have a very pretty etched design. The stand is 17.0" high and the turntable is 8.0" in diameter. There is a slight indentation on the base rim. The piece came with only 3 bottles- 2 shakers and the sugar jar. The silverplate is also worn on these. And they have a frosted or etched leaf design. The shakers are 8.0" tall and the sugar jar is 6.5" tall. On one shaker the lid was at some time cemented onto the bottle and the top unscrews. The other shaker is not cemented and does not stay on- ... moreno threads inside the top. This bottle is very rough around the top rim. The sugar jar lid does not come off- it has a hinged top. NOTE: The stand separates into 3 pieces and will be shipped unassembled. Vintage Victorian Meriden B. Co.Castor Quadruple Silver Plate- Cruet Set
Up for auction is a Vintage Victorian Look. Rogers Silver Plate'Meriden Britannia Co. CT' Quadruple Cruet Castor 5 Glass Container Set. The bottle has a different etched glass design. The swivel caddy has a Beaver Motif and it spins around with ease. It is in Excellent Vintage/Antique( Condition with a few typical exceptions, which consist of a chip on one of the stoppers on the part that sits inside the cruet(see pic) which is not noticeable when the stopper is on the bottle. The other issue is the lid of the smallest cruet. The pins are not attached to its rim, it has come apart where it swivels to raise the lid(see pic) The makers mark is located on the top side of the caddy, tried to get a pic but not sure as to how clear it turned out. This is from one of our estate sales. I started to clean to show design. The cruets have two different stoppers. Not sure which is the original and they have some chipping on bottom of stoppers. Two of the shakers the tops come off. The other two shakers one short and one tall work fine. The caddy seems to be in good shape from dents or dings. Not sure of the condition and if all will clean or if there is pitting. It is smooth to the touch and does not feel like pitting. Still needs cleaning. Has what appears to be a repair on edge. The bottles are all etched. The handle has a pretty victorian lady on it. Very old wish was in better condition needs a new home and some TLC. The carousel is marked Connecticut Plate Co. Triple Plate. The handle is very ornate with a free moving decorated carousel and base. There are 5 bottles, 3 of the bottles are matching with an etched flower design around them and the other 2 have a thumb print cut, I do not believe the 2 bottles that are not etched are original to the set plus the stopper is missing on the one bottle. Up for auction is this Vintage Silver CASTOR SET Condiment Cruet with six(6) Bottles. Silver Plate. Pictures tell a much better story than I. There are six bottles, and I can find no chips nicks etc. As you can see from the last pic, it needs a good cleaning, but it does shine very nicely. The date on the base is 1879 and on the opposite side is the name ROSE. Again, in VERY good condition. Four bottles have stoppers, again, no chips etc. The other two is for salt and pepper with screw on tops. Approx 18" high, cruets are approx. 8" Bottles are etched. Antique Victorian Reed and Barton Condiment Cruet Castor 5 Piece Set
Antique Reed and Barton condiment/cruet set. It has 5 bottles. One of which is a little different than the others. It blends in just fine, but does not have the etching that the others do. The top is missing off the mustard jar. There are some chips on the stopper and on the top of the cruet itself where it is ground out so they blend in pretty well. There are a couple manufacturing defects. a couple small bubbles or defects in the glass. A couple of minor dings in the tops of the bottles. No cracks of any kind. I have not cleaned or polished this, I will leave that up to buyer. Overall in good condition for its age. The spoon in the picture is NOT included. Please ask questions before bidding.

Antique Vintage Wilcox Silverplate With Bell Castor Cruet Set Condiments
This 7 piece bell cruet set came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked on the bottom Quadruple Plate Wilcox Silveplate Co 545. The stand has a brass bell that works. Maybe for calling a servant. At one time there may have been a handle on the bell as there are two marks on either side of the bell, see the 4th picture. The ring on the stand has an etched floral design. The stand measures 11 1/4" high and 7 1/2" wide at the widest point. It has alot of tarnishing and there are wear marks. I have not cleaned it. The cruets do not all match. Two of them match each other but not exactly the other four. All have an etched floral/leaf design and a light lavender tint. They are in good condition. One cruet has a rub mark on the top that the camera did not show. Two of the stoppers have chips. One on the bottom and the other has two small ... morechips with a rub mark. The three cruets with stoppers measure about 8 1/4" high with the stoppers in place. The two cruets with shaker tops measure 7 3/4" high. The smaller cruet measures 5 3/4" high.

~ Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Set ~ Gorgeous 14-piece. All original set made in the 1890s. It includes 6 cut glass crystal bottles with stoppers and 2 silver plate lidded jars. One jar includes a twisted silver plate spoon. The handle is black Bakelite and capped on the ends with decorative silver plate finials. Although this set displays just beautifully. It has some imperfections including tarnish. Fleabites, cracks and flakes. I've taken close-ups to show the most serious flaws. Both faceted stoppers have chips/roughness around their tendrils, one of the mushroom-shaped stoppers has a 3/4" cracked flange, there is a chip out of the rim of one bottle, there are fleabites on some corners and a few flakes around the mouths of the bottles/jars. Antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set, only four bottles
A pretty antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set in very good condition. But with only four bottles instead of five. I can't find a name or mark except for the number 2169 on the bottom. The top design is a child picking apples with a circle on the very top. It doesn't seem to have any dents or any missing silverplate. It is 16" tall x 7" in diam. at the cruet holder. There are two cruets with faceted stoppers. One stopper has a teeny chip on the very top and a teeny chip on one of the points. I think these are daisy and button designs. Those two are 8 3/4" to the top of the stopper. The other two are 8 3/4" tall with silverplate salt shaker tops. One has a small chip on the rim under the screw on top. Everything seems to be great and very pretty.

Up for auction is a Victorian Cruet/Castor set- This jars in this set are cranberry colored and the jars have the thumbprint pattern. The cruet holder has a design around the edge of it. The holder does need cleaned. There are five jars in this set. The oil and vinegar jars have ground stoppers on them. There is some roughness on the ground part of the stoppers. Available for purchase. We have a beautiful cruet castor set. This set has 5 cranberry hand blown glass bottles with a thumb print pattern. The stand is triple silver plate made by The Taunton Silver Plate Co. In Taunton, Massachusetts. The stamp used on the stand was one that Taunton used from 1853-1859. Two of the glass bottles are missing their glass stoppers. There is also a mustard pot and 2 shaker bottles that have silver plate tops. Other than the missing stoppers, there is no chips or cracks. Antique 5 Bottle Simpson Hall & Miller Quadruple Silverplate Castor Cruet Set
This listing is for an antique. Five bottle castor set. The stand is marked: Simpson, Hall, Miller& Co Quadruple Plate 116. It measures about 6.25" across the top, 4.75" to the rim, 15" to the top of the handle, and 5" across the bottom of the base. The holes are just a little under 2" across. The cruets are cut and etched, and the pattern on one is a little different. All three measure 6.5" to the rim, and 9" to the top of the stopper. The stoppers have tiny chips. The shakers are 6.75" tall. The silverplate needs polishing, and is worn off the handle. Shipping is based on 9lbs, packed weight.

Salt and pepper shakers have cut glass diamond shape. when you remove the tops the glass shows signs of wear rough glass. Vinegar holder has a very rough on the bottom. With matching wheel cut design is roses cut to clear glass, S&P Shakers, an oil and vinigar cruet set w/ stoppers, and a mustard jar(no spoon) All the glass is free of chips, cracks, flea bites, dents, dings, or repairs. We are pleased to offer this very fine VICTORIAN SILVERPLATE THREE BOTTLE CASTOR SET.complete. And in very good condition. As you can see in the photos.the holder has very lovely aesthetic movement floral handle, that does not unscrew from base. The total height is 9 1/4 in. The stand in in very fine condition, one of the bottles has several side chips and the metal cover has a chip and a small hole not very noticable. I am not sure all the bottles match but they look great together. There is no makers tag on this piece. A High quality of the workmanship.

I am offering for bid this early( I believe Victorian) or at least early 1900's Reed& Barton Castor/ Cruet Set. Marked on the bottom( see photo) All of the ORIGINAL and MATCHING Bottles are present. The Height of the HOLDER is approx. 15 1/2 in. and the Diameter is approx. 8 in. The( 6) Glass Bottles are all etched with( 4) of them having what appear to be Silver Plated tops. The( 2) Tall Bottles each have have a different Stopper but appear to be their Original ones. I could find no maker marks on the Bottles and they are on a" Carousel" that revolves. You are bidding on an 1890 era antique Victorian silver plated castor set. This elegant tableware serving set consists of 6 bottles or jars that are cut and etched. I believe 4 bottles match with the same pattern and two additional bottles are a little different in pattern but are very close. There is a vinegar and oil set with glass stoppers. A salt and pepper set and a condiment jar with no spoon, an extra shaker maybe for sugar. They rest on a rotating lazy Susan type tray with a tall handle and the perimeter of the tray features floral designs with lily of the valley and flowers and foliage. Unmarked. Overall this set is in Very Good Antique condition with a few very minor details.
