Featured at auction is this Vintage Silverplate Holder/ Frame for Pickle Castor with Fork and Spoon. It stands 11" tall. With opening's in the Base and Cover of 4" It is unmarked. There is a 5" Unmarked Spoon and a 6" Marked Fork, with Victors Co. A1 IS. There is Decoration to the Top of the Castor, Cover and Base. I don't know if this is all Origiinal.Overall Condition for this Vintage Castor is Great, with No Dents or Abrasions. I have never cleaned this. Antique Pickle Castor Yellow Quilted Satin Glass Silverplate Frame Lid Tongs
My parents collected antique art glass(among other things) in the 1960's- 70's& this is from their collection. The glass part is screaming yellow quilted cased satin glass; no maker's mark but it has the pontil on the bottom so it was hand blown. The inside is white satin glass; the outside is a the yellow that is lighter at the bottom going to darker as it gets higher. There's an impressed quilted pattern plus the quilt pattern is made the colors in the glass(hard to explain& hope you can see what I mean in my pics) It's a fine piece of victorian glass. It measures 4 3/4" tall; 3 1/8" across the top& 2 5/8" across the bottom. The glass has no chips. Breaks or other damage. There are a few small dark spots where the silver of the frame has touched to glass. The lid has no marks on it- it fits ... moreperfectly. The tongs are also unmarked and are 6 5/8" long. The frame is 11 1/2" tall. It has 4 round ball feet. There's a place to hang the tongs. The frame is stamped Wilcox Silver Plate Co. 4696 Quadruple Plate. The ring that holds the glass in may have been repaired at some time; or it may have been put together that way originally. I cannot tell. *RARE* Emerald Green & GOLD "DELAWARE" eapg PICKLE CASTOR - Silverplate Frame
The Emerald Green stippled and gilded"EAPG" insert is a familiar pattern to collectors. DELAWARE" made by the U.S. Glass Co. circa 1899- their pattern#15065. It was made in several shapes and colors. But is"RARE" as a PICKLE CASTOR! The jar on this piece is cemented to the silverplate frame at the collar- the base is fitted on the glass, not cemented, will rotate but is not removable- No maker's mark found on the frame. Sterling pickle fork included. Measures: 9.5" tall. 5.5" wide across the handles, 4.25" high to the top of the collar, 3.5" wide base Condition: EXCELLENT- previously owned/used antique- NO chips. Cracks or repairs- BEAUTIFUL!

Pairpoint Pickle Castor Ornate Silverplate Frame Swirl Insert
Commanding Pairpoint silverplated pickle castor with ornate leaves and what looks like cucumbers? for making the pickles? on the matching frame and cover. Clear insert with ground base in a Baccarat swirl. There is a ¾” chunk on the base and a couple of tiny nicks on the base that don’t come up the side and can’t be seen once the insert is in place. Comes with silverplated and brass tongs. Stands 14-1/2” top to bottom. I haven’t polished the frame but the silver seems to be in good shape. And as always. No reserve! Victorian 1800's Wilcox Pickle Castor ornate silverplate floral frame, jar, RARE
This Wilcox quadruple silver plate pickle castor is a beautiful. Turn of the century piece. It has Lilly of the valley accents, great patina, and aesthetic design. Frame comes with a fancy, smoked glass pickle jar with ornate topper. Attached to frame is a silver plated 1847 Rogers Bros' pickle fork with grape designs. The frame has the normal wear and tear scratches on the base and the jar has 2 very small chips on the lid rim and a chip on the base. Not positive the base chip is a chip or defect) None are noticeable(hard to photo) and don't take away from this beautiful piece but wanted to note them. The Wilcox Silver Plate company was based in Meriden. CT in the mid-1800's and produced some of the finest silver plated pieces. Measures approx. 10.5" x 5" Please see pictures. Up for auction is this Cased SPATTER GLASS Royal Ivy Pickle Castor in a silver plated frame marked Acme Silver Plate CO# 337. The frame has it's original patina and loss to the silver plate. There is also a separation between one of the 3 shells at the base of the holder(first picture) There is a holder on the side of the frame for a pair of tongs.
