Heavily decorated with hand punched floral swags with bows around the outside of the bowl and having two open cartouche on either side the top finished with a good heavy roped edge and the inside being gilded. It stands on a round and decorated stepped foot which is weighted to make it more stable and stand firm when in use. The condition is very good with no dents or damage that I can see. The silver plating is still good with only a few scratches and specs missing all consistent with it's age. The gilding to the inside is still good with only a few scratches and a little plating missing to the bottom to show the copper base metal. This genuine antique silver plated period piece would look spectacular displayed in any home and would certainly make a statement on the dining table if not used for champagne or punch filled with fruit or flowers. This is an exquisite piece which is very ornate in detail throughout the entire piece. This is marked on removable lid ring as shown with a French Motto. The cooler insert is removable as well. This appears to have been mounted on a plinth base and/or use as a trophy piece at one point as there are 4 holes in base bottom. The urn shows wear typical of age and use with expected loss to the finish and a few dings which do not detract from this piece in the least. Beautiful heirloom and decorative urn for any decor. Amazing silver plate ice chiller bucket. Purchased at an Estate Sale. I do not know how old it is, the lady said, this piece has been in her family for as long as she can remember. not marked. Heavy, wonderfully crafted, with little flower handles. T he piece measures approx. 10. 5" tall with a diameter of 8.5" at the top opening. When I got it. It was BLACK, so I have polished the silver and it came out great. I only found one, very tiny little spo t. Hidden behind one of the handle s where it is miss ing plat e. About a 16th" speck. The wine cooler is very ornate. With thematically appropriate applied decorations in the form of grapes, vines, and grape leaves around the base, body, handles, and rim. These decorations are quite realistic and detailed, very well done. As the photos show, the wine cooler has applied silver insets to accommodate the crests. This is typical of old Sheffield plate pieces from 1790-1820. On one side is a crest of a bird with is claw on a ball. On the other side is a full crest above a banner with the Latin motto, Libertas' The interior of the bucket is tinned, to protect ... morefrom any corrosion from the ice and water that would be used. This piece is in excellent overall condition. The silver plating is in great shape. There is an old solder repair around where the base meets the body. Which is extremely hard to notice without turning the piece over and inspecting it closely. There is a split on one side of the base, but it is still quite sound. The handles are in good shape, and have not had any breaks or restorations. There are no dents, and no monogram removals. The wine cooler stands about 12 inches tall. This is for a Vintage Poole silverplate ice bucket. 9" tall x 7" outer diameter. Heavy glass lined piece with lion head handles. The other ice bucket features ring handles(like door knockers) with winged leopard heads on either side. This was a wedding gift of my parents from 1954. This has been stored in a plastic bag but it has still got some tarnish. There is no pitting in the tarnish, so it should polish up well. I don't want to ruin the patina by polishing it incorrectly. Vintage Leonard Silverplate Silver Plate Champagne Wine Cooler Ice Bucket
This vintage champagne or wine cooler measures 10 1/4" tall. 9 1/2" wide at the handles, and the bucket portion of the cooler(excluding the handles) is 8 7/8" wide. The opening of the bucket/cooler is 5 7/8" wide by 7 1/2" deep. It is comprised of silver plate and made by Leonard Silverplate and is marked as such on the bottom. The top rim of the cooler is decorated with a gadrooned edge. It has two large handles that are decorated with a scrollwork design and measure 2 7/8" wide and project 1 7/8" outward from the body. It has a pedestal base for added stability. The piece is in very good, used condition, although it seems as though it has been barely used. Here up for bid is a very nice and great looking silver over copper English Sheffield 19th century champagne bucket/ Wine cooler. This is a very fine silver over copper bucket with mountain sheep heads as handles. Beautiful ribbed design with an embossed base. The cooler is in 2 pieces. The top lifts off to put the ice inside the bucket. It is 10 3/4" tall and the base is 5 3/4" in diameter. It is 8" at its widest. And the top pieces where the bottle is inserted is 6" in diameter and 5 3/4" deep. There is a very little bit of wear of the silver to the copper, but very little. Antique Georigan OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE Wine COOLER Silver plate Champagne BUCKET
This listing is for an Antique Georgian"Old Sheffield Plate" Silver plated WINE COOLER circa 1820. The champagne bucket stands approximately 10 inches in height by approximately 9 1/2 inches across the top and 5 1/4 inches across the base. This three piece wine holder consists of a handled outer body. An inside liner and a rim insert. The sturdy handles are decorated with acanthus leaves. I have included several photos of the cooler prior to polishing as it clearly shows the piece of Solid Silver which was often cut into Old Sheffield Plate items so as to allow for engraving without having the copper show through as would be the case if the engraving were done else where on the cooler- as you can see from the balance of the photos. This cut in plate virtually disappears when the item is polished. The cooler is quite heavy with a ... moreweight of 7.56 pounds. There is some wear thru to the plate- most notably one mark on one side of the cooler- please see photos- this wear through doesn't make sense- I believe that some previous owner. Who was not familiar with"Old Sheffield Plate" saw what is a seam mark from the making of the cylinder for the body of the cooler and mistook it for oxidation in the silver plate and just simply rubbed the silver plate off trying to get rid of something that was not going to go away) As well there are also some minor nicks around the top edge. One light dent in the body of the cooler and some minor scratches- please see photos- not in perfect condition, but still very presentable and with good character. Please see my other items! The top rim and the handles are nicely done in ornate design. I cannot make out the makers mark on bottom. The last 3 letters appear to be rim. There is also a mark in center that looks like a man wearing a hat. This is very heavy and measures 10 inches tall and is 9 inches wide across the top. There is a monogrammed M on one side of center. No dents, some small scratches not many. Nice old find for some lucky bidder. No Reserve.

Simple but elegant wine cooler in very good condition. A few minor scratches but nothing that really stands out. The lid fits securely. It has the word Credo on the front being a family crest. Quite heavy for it's size. It measures 9 1/2 inches tall. 9 1/2 inches handle to handle. It had a lot of oxidation on it when I purchased it, but cleaned up nicely. You may want to do a little more polishing. Marked EPNS with the makers marks. I found this information on the Internet about the marks and dates. This is the same mark that is on this cooler. Henry Atkin set up as a spoon maker in 1841. He had three sons(Henry. Edward and Frank) who following his death took over the company. Atkin Brothers were a multi-product Sheffield company producing good quality items in silver and plate(the mark used on EPNS was HA EA FA) from 1853 to 1958. This large Goldfeder silver wine cooler measures about 10" high by 10.5" wide not including the handles. It is very thick and heavy. About 7 lbs. 5 oz. and is solid copper underneath the silver. The marking on the bottom is faded but I can make it out well enough to identify it as Goldfeder based on the hallmark databases at 925-1000.com and silvercollection.it. The company dates given by the 925-1000 site for Goldfeder would date the piece c. 1932-1957, after which the company was succeeded by Birmingham Silver Co. The piece shows wear commensurate with age and usage. Including dings and scratches, a few rust spots, and some areas where the copper is partially exposed. Most of this is inside the bowl. BARKER ELLIS Silver-Plated Ice, Champagne/Wine Cooler - Menorah/"England" Marks
Gorgeous. Extraordinarily engraved, vintage silver ice/champagne/wine cooler. This piece was produced in England by Barker Ellis in the early 1900's and is marked"England" with the Menorah hallmark. The piece is 10" high and 9" in diameter. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some pitting in the bowl which would easily be concealed with ice or an inexpensive liner. I have used it for a table centerpiece with a large floral arrangement in it. It is, without a doubt, stunning any way it is used.

Vintage Wallace Grand Baroque Silver Footed Champagne Wine Cooler w Liner #243
This listing is for a stunning& statuesque footed champagne/wine cooler or ice bucket in the Baroque pattern by the prestigious Wallace Silver Co. The base of the bucket have the etched letters that read: BAROQUE" by Wallace as well as the piece#243. This cooler comes with its hard to find removable metal liner which is shown standing by the cooler in one photo. Most of the time when you see these for sale. The liner is missing. You may also see the inside of the bucket without the liner, and again with the liner. The smooth areas of this piece are clear as a fine mirror! It was difficult to photograph as it has reflected everything in the room, and distorted the reflections due to the curved line of the cooler. The bucket stands about 10 1/2" tall and is 10" wide at the opening. This piece can be used as either an ice ... morebucket or wine cooler. The liner will protect the interior from scratches with the ice tongs. As a cooler. You can place ice in the bottom of the bucket, and put the wine in the liner, and you will not have to disrupt all the ice when you would like a refill of wine. This piece is complete with no scratches or nicks, includes liner, but does have engraved initials on one side. Some tarnish from age with the silver plating, and left uncleaned on purpose to preserve the intricate decoration(proper silver plated pieces should only be cleaned prior to use for preservation) This gorgeous piece will add an elegant touch to any celebration or turn an ordinary event into a memorable occasion. This Silver Wine or Champagne Cooler was passed down from my grandmother. So it is truly an antique. My mother used it after her and then I inherited it. I am selling it since we are downsizing. It is in good condition in that it has no dings, no gauges, nor any deep scratches. It does have some worn out areas from years of polishing. The areas are on the ornate handles, inside the cooler, and some minor areas on the outside. I tried to show these flaws with close up pictures. It does have a wonderful patina.
