The castor measures 10 inches ... morehigh to the top of the handle and is 8 inches at its widest. The glass insert measures 6 inches high to the finial on the cover and is 4 3/4 inches in diameter across the bottom of the jar. This fine silver plate piece features a round base with 4 cabriole feet in the Rococo style. It has oval medallions around the base with a scrolling acanthus leaf handle that raises above the base. The glass jar is acid etched and hand painted with a large landscape scene featuring a mother and child walking on a large estate. The painting is further enhanced with heavy applied gold enameling. The castor is marked on verso "G.A.B. NS 1900", this for a possible Swedish maker.

All the items I sell are pre-owne d and may have wear from age. Use, and storage. Up for auction Antique Victorian Castor Condiment Cruet Set in Silverplate with 5 Bottles Victorian Silverplate 5 Bottle Castor Set Condiment Set Each bottle is decorated with a wheel etched pattern and design and every bottle is slightly different in design and shape. One bottle seems to have original stopper. The rest are missing their toppers. The castor unit is made of silver electroplated metal. The handle seems to be missing its electroplating probably from use. Size: The entire set stands 14 inches tall 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Antique Victorian Reed and Barton Condiment Cruet Castor 5 Piece Set
Antique Reed and Barton condiment/cruet set. It has 5 bottles. One of which is a little different than the others. It blends in just fine, but does not have the etching that the others do. The top is missing off the mustard jar. There are some chips on the stopper and on the top of the cruet itself where it is ground out so they blend in pretty well. There are a couple manufacturing defects. a couple small bubbles or defects in the glass. A couple of minor dings in the tops of the bottles. No cracks of any kind. I have not cleaned or polished this, I will leave that up to buyer. Overall in good condition for its age. The spoon in the picture is NOT included. Please ask questions before bidding.

Antique Victorian Condiment Castor with Five Etched Glass Bottles
Up for auction is an antique Victorian ornate condiment castor. There are 5 bottles with the castor and all the bottles appear to be original to the silver plated castor. I am certain that one stopper is not original to the cruet bottle and I am not sure about the other one. None of the bottles are cracked. But the bottles with the lids have chips around the rims(can't be seen due to the lids) The castor was made by Boston Silverplate. Circa 1900. It has a lovely patina. It is approximately 16 1/2 tall. The bottles are all etched.

The frame is bent at the tip and the top level of the frame is bent down from the weight of the bottles. Three of the bottles look original and the the forth is likely a replacement. ~ Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Set ~ Gorgeous 14-piece. All original set made in the 1890s. It includes 6 cut glass crystal bottles with stoppers and 2 silver plate lidded jars. One jar includes a twisted silver plate spoon. The handle is black Bakelite and capped on the ends with decorative silver plate finials. Although this set displays just beautifully. It has some imperfections including tarnish. Fleabites, cracks and flakes. I've taken close-ups to show the most serious flaws. Both faceted stoppers have chips/roughness around their tendrils, one of the mushroom-shaped stoppers has a 3/4" cracked flange, there is a chip out of the rim of one bottle, there are fleabites on some corners and a few flakes around the mouths of the bottles/jars. One bottle has a little cloudiness to it. The others are all pretty clean and shiny. ... moreStill a knock-out set! This is a large set and all together it weighs 6 lbs. We looked for a makers mark but could not find it. We found a date of aug 1856 on the ball on tpp of the bell. We have not been able to find a similar item with the bell. It definitely shows signs of its over 150 years of age and use but a great piece for someone who wants a restoration project. A pretty antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set in very good condition. But with only four bottles instead of five. I can't find a name or mark except for the number 2169 on the bottom. The top design is a child picking apples with a circle on the very top. It doesn't seem to have any dents or any missing silverplate. It is 16" tall x 7" in diam. at the cruet holder. There are two cruets with faceted stoppers. One stopper has a teeny chip on the very top and a teeny chip on one of the points. I think these are daisy and button designs. Those two are 8 3/4" to the top of the stopper. The other two are 8 3/4" tall with silverplate salt shaker tops. One has a small chip on the rim under the screw on top. Everything seems to be great and very pretty.

Unique Victorian Silverplate Cruet Castor Condiment Set
This is being sold for a estate. I think you will agree that this set is a little out of the norm. Most are pretty much the same as far as the handles go. This is a bit unusual and rare I believe. Has a cherub on top and nicely decorated with birds and flowers all the way around. Bottles are cut and etched. It stands about 16" high. Good luck on this beautiful piece.

1800s Racine Co. Victorian Silver Plate Castor Cruet Condiment Bottle Holder
Antique cruet 6 piece set manufactured by the Racine S.P. Co. Racine silver plate company) located in Racine. WI until a fire in 1882. The company salvaged what they could and moved to Rockford, IL and became the Rockford silver company. That makes this set currently a minimum of 132 years old and highly collectible. Triple silver plate rotating tray holds 5 glass and silver condiment bottles. Three bottles feature etched glass with silver plated tops. Presumably. Salt, pepper and mustard or sugar(there is no soon)Two bottles are clear ornamental glass with a bubble pattern, presumably for oil and vinegar. Over all condition is very nice. But the tray has one small dent on edge(see pic) and features a pretty etched pattern all the way around. It has not been polished. The shape of the rotating tray is not perfectly round. But that is difficult ... moreto tell if that is a design feature, or if the tray was slightly misshapen after market sometime during its life. Some of the bottles have a little residue in the bottom. I do not know if that is permanent. Or can come out with proper cleaning. One of the oil/ vinegar bottles has a very small chip on the lip, see pic) I do not see any other chips or cracks on the bottles. I'm selling this piece as is. And I have described it to the best of my ability. Please look at the pics carefully and feel free to ask any further questions. Antique Victorian Sheffield Silver Plate Glass Cruet Castor Condiment Set Tray
Up for auction is a nice antique condiment set. Set comes with two paneled glass bottles with stoppers and two shakers on a silverplate footed stand. Set is overall in good condition. The two shakers each have a chip to the bottom edge. One bottle has a small chip to the bottom edge, wear to the silverplate, the handle on the tray is very loose. Please see photos carefully for details. Stand measures about 7 1/2" H x 6 7/8" x 5 7/8" bottles about 6 1/8" H x 1 3/4" W; shakers 3 3/4" H x 1 3/4" W. Fresh out of a fine old estate! This Victorian condiment/castor/cruet stand was made by E.G. Webster& Bros.New York.They were in business from 1873-1886.It is silver plate with a wonderful animal motif around each tier.The ornate handle has a squirrel eating nuts or berries and the tiers have deer,a swan, squirrels,a deer being chased by a dog,a rabbit and a bird.This needs to be polished.The stand is 17 inches tall and 7 inches at it's widest pointThere are 6 cruet holders but I only have 4.Three of the cruets have the same vine etching on them and one has a floral etching. These have chipping along the widest part where they sit in the stand.This stand is spectacular but would look even better with a complete set of cruets.There is 1 section on the base at the very bottom and underside that is rough.I didn't try to do anything to see if it could be corrected ... moreor not.It's about 2 inches long.This is a great pc. that deserves to be admired!

Antique Victorian 5 Bottle Castor/Condiment/Cruet Set with Rare Glass Base Frame- Rare Up for auction is a RARE Antique 5 bottle castor condiment cruet set on an all glass base frame. The set contains 5 matching bottles: Vinegar& Oil; Salt& Pepper; and a Mustard Jar. The bottles and the skirt have a matching Art Deco looking pattern. The glass sparkles beautifully in the sun and displays very well. See PHOTOS- I've used different color backdrops to show the clarity of the glass. It stands approximately 10" tall(including bottles) The holder is approximately 5 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 1/2" by itself) the bottles are 7 3/4" tall, the shakers are 6" tall, and the mustard bottle is 4 3/4" tall( See PHOTOS) This beautiful RARE set is in overall Excellent Vintage Condition. There are no cracks or repairs ... moreon the base or bottles. All lids fit tightly and will unscrew. There is one chip along the top of the salt shaker but is hidden by the metal cap( See PHOTOS) The glass is rough around the rim of all three lidded bottles and the pepper shaker has some rust on the glass from the cap. See PHOTOS) The ends of each stopper have a couple of'expected' very small chips from age and handling. The silver plating is tarnished and may need re-plating. It looks as though the set had some type of handle because of the two holes in the base. Also. There is no spoon to the mustard jar. Regardless of its minor flaws that comes with age, it is a Beautiful set that is extremely rare to find especially in this condition!
