Antique Double Sovereign Holder Purse This lovely brown leather purse has a silver plated frame and a fob ring for attaching to a chain. Inside. Are two sprung coin holders– for Sovereigns and half Sovereigns I believe. The holder plate is hinged so it can swing back and foth. From the design of this piece, I would estimate that it dates to the first quarter of the 20 th century. This piece is in very good condition for its age. The coin deposits still work perfectly and are tightly sprung. The leather is still supple and there are no obvious areas of scuffing or wear to the surface. The holders inside have left impressions in the leather and also stained it on inside. This piece has been well used so there are a number of scratches and nicks to the silver plating. The clasp works perfectly and locks very securely. Early 20th century Hip Flask This good-sized hip flask has a 300 ml capacity with an oval glass body. Leather clad shoulders, a silver plated removable cup to the base and a silver plated screw top with the original cork intact. The base has the mark of the high quality manufacturer, James Dixon& Sons and, from its style and the mark’s design, this piece would date to the first quarter of the 20 th century. This flask is in good condition but there are a few pitting spots to the plating on the cup as shown in the photos below. The leather has no splits. Tears or deep scuffs and the glass has no cracks or chips. The cap has no dents and screws securely to the neck. Hunting/ Shooting Set: Four SILVER PLATE CUPS in Original Vintage Leather Case PLEASE SEE ALL MY PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH ALSO FORM PART OF MY ITEM DESCRIPTION HAPPY TO POST INTERNATIONALLY This is a lovely set of silver plate cups or little beakers- which would be great items to match with a silver plated hip flask to have a wee dram on a trip out onto the country. They are each marked to the base: CROSS and were Made in England. The cups are in good vintage condition and retain their original dull gilt colouring on the inside of each. The plate is in nice shiny condition- with no scratches or disfiguring dents. The case itself is a lovely heavy tan leather one- with a popper stud to close it. It is marked inside Cleghorn. Edinburgh in gold lettering. So this must have been the name of the retailer. The case is 6 cm in height and with a diameter ... moreof 5 cm. The cups are 4.5 cm in height and with the same diameter at the top- so much more classy than passing around the hip flask for a"slug" to hand out each party member their own little beaker to take a warming little shot from. These little silver plate cups are hard to find in this condition and with such an attractive case. Weight unpacked is 120 grams- so it certainly would not be expensive to post outside of the UK. Antique Ryals Silver Plate Christening Set In Fleur De Lys Clasp Leather Case
Welcome to my auction for this Antique Ryals A1 Silver Plated Christening Set. In it's original leather box. It is a two piece set consisting of a childs feeding spoon and food pusher. Both well marked, in E.P.N.S. though they are very heavily polished as the photo's hopefully demonstrate. They are presented in a black leather bound presentation box. With a lovely black velveteen feel lined base and white silky padded top, though this has some foxing, again, as shown. I am not sure. But the box is probably more collectable than the cutlery, due to the fact it is a wonderful lozenge shape, with the aforementioned black leather coating, with slightly worn gilt trim to the lid, but more importantly, it has two gilt popper clasps, both decorated with the Fleur De Lys symbol. The overall condition of the case is very good. Both hinges ... moreand clasps solid and working properly. There are some age related marks here and there, but as it is black leather, these will polish out nicely. Note to buyers: When Listing items I try to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions. Description Here is a nice antique silver plate leather and glass whiskey hip flask in good original condition. The silver is very well engraved. Makers marks are KPG. The silver lid opens and closes nicely with a cork lining. The leather coverer has very nice original colour and is in great condition. The glass body is in good condition. Fine Hip Flask by HW & S Black leather and silver plate. Really fine.
A hip flask by HW&S in fine condition. Marked at the bottom with the maker's marks and 2. Stamped HW on the collar. Screw top with undamaged cork inside. I did not clean the inside or the outside. A little bit of dried alcohol inside and some light wear/ rubbing/ light shallow scratch on the metal but no dents or split. The leather is in fine condition too. Unusual as the corners of those flasks are always dented. This one is fine. Size: 12.5 cm x 8 cm.

An antique silver plate& leather hip flask. It dates to the early 20th century. Covered in thick brown leather with bayonet fitting with cork interior lid. It measures a large 16cm + x 10.3cm& holds approx 250ml. In great condition. There is rubbing to the silver plate(see photos) No chips or cracks. Watertight- looks like it still has remains of whisky or brandy inside It is made by J D& S- James Dixon& Sons of Sheffield

VINTAGE IRISH HIP FLASK, SILVER PLATE LEATHER AND GLASS
This auction is for a fine vintage Irish Hip Flask with top and base in Silver Plate and a glass body half clad in black leather. It is approximately 5” or 130mm high. 3” or 73mm wide and 1 ½” or 38mm front to back, the capacity is ¼ Pint or 5 fluid ounces(UK measurement) and the overall weight is 270 grams. The top is a screw fit and closes neatly, it has an inner cork which gives a good seal making the flask watertight, the base can be pulled off to give a drinking cup, inside the cup is gilded though this has a little wear from use, under the base is stamped Barrett& Co 109 Grafton St Dublin, I have found two references to Barrett& Co at this address one from 1910 the other 1915 so I am guessing the flask dates to this period. The Silver Plate is sound with no worn areas and is well polished with virtually no scratches ... moreand there are no dents or splits, there are three or four little surface marks on one side near the top edge and a few very minor marks to the base. The glass is good with no cracks or chips and looks quite clean, the Leather is pretty much perfect, the stitching is all sound and there are no splits or scuffs the only thing I can find is a slight indent beside one sight window really of no consequence. 101 Stunning Antique Victorian Ornate Silver Plate & Leather Belt
Please find for sale an original antique Victorian silver plate& leather belt. With lovely ornate curved panels linked together and wiyj the original leather straps ending in silver plate buckles. The condition of the metal is very good, and although the leather is worn it is soft and supple and a good polish would restore the cosmetic look, athough this is not essential. The maximum belt length measures approx 31 inches. The widesst point of the metal is approx 2.8 inches. each metal panel is curved to fit the body.
