Antique Silverplated Castor Cruet Set in Brass That May Have Been Plated Holder
I am guessing at the age of this set. I think it's from the late 1800's from the research of the bottles. It also seems like this brass holder was at one time silverplated and that was wore or polished off because I detect some silver left. It now resembles a very pleasing two tone finish. I sell all my items in"as found" condition so no cleaning or polishing is ever done by me to preserve the patina. It would be really pretty all cleaned up. There are very small chips around the tops of bottles where the lids go so you can't see them but they are pictured. The lids of the bottles appear to be silverplated. It has 5 of the original bottles and one replacement. A more suitable replacement can be found on Ebay that matches better and is more age appropriate. There are stamps which were put under a very high powered microscope and was still hard to make them out. The first stamp inside a sort of oval is possibly EP or JP. The next stamp is what appears to be a fancy 8. The following stamp is maybe a duck's head. The next appears to be a 76 possibly for 1876? The last stamp could be a 31 or 3I or a type of anchor. Not sure on any of them but especially the last one. Any experts out there may know what these mean but I couldn't figure it out. No other maker's mark that can be seen. This set would be a wonderful gift!

19th Century Victorian Bohemian Cut to Clear Cobalt Blue Cruet Castor Set
This a BEAUTIFUL Antique Cruet Set. It is in very good condition! There are not chips or cracks in any of the glass jars. It is a set of 5 salt and pepper. Oil and vinegar, and mustard jar. The oil and vinigar jars measure 8.5 inches tall and the salt and pepper shakers measure 7.5 inches tall the mustard jar is 5.5 inches tall. The glass is a cobalt blue with cut to clear patterns on them. The antique stand is quadruple silver plate and the cruet holder turns lazy susan style. The stand measure 15.5 iches high. Triple Plate on Hard White Metal. The silverplate is nearly all gone but the handle has a beautiful design and the base and turntable have a very pretty etched design. The stand is 17.0" high and the turntable is 8.0" in diameter. There is a slight indentation on the base rim. The piece came with only 3 bottles- 2 shakers and the sugar jar. The silverplate is also worn on these. And they have a frosted or etched leaf design. The shakers are 8.0" tall and the sugar jar is 6.5" tall. On one shaker the lid was at some time cemented onto the bottle and the top unscrews. The other shaker is not cemented and does not stay on- ... moreno threads inside the top. This bottle is very rough around the top rim. The sugar jar lid does not come off- it has a hinged top. NOTE: The stand separates into 3 pieces and will be shipped unassembled. Up for auction is a Vintage Victorian Look. Rogers Silver Plate'Meriden Britannia Co. CT' Quadruple Cruet Castor 5 Glass Container Set. The bottle has a different etched glass design. The swivel caddy has a Beaver Motif and it spins around with ease. It is in Excellent Vintage/Antique( Condition with a few typical exceptions, which consist of a chip on one of the stoppers on the part that sits inside the cruet(see pic) which is not noticeable when the stopper is on the bottle. The other issue is the lid of the smallest cruet. There are six bottles, and I can find no chips nicks etc. As you can see from the last pic, it needs a good cleaning, but it does shine very nicely. The date on the base is 1879 and on the opposite side is the name ROSE. Again, in VERY good condition. Antique Reed and Barton condiment/cruet set. It has 5 bottles. One of which is a little different than the others. It blends in just fine, but does not have the etching that the others do. The top is missing off the mustard jar. There are some chips on the stopper and on the top of the cruet itself where it is ground out so they blend in pretty well. There are a couple manufacturing defects. a couple small bubbles or defects in the glass. A couple of minor dings in the tops of the bottles. No cracks of any kind. I have not cleaned or polished this, I will leave that up to buyer. Overall in good condition for its age. The spoon in the picture is NOT included. Please ask questions before bidding.

Antique Vintage Wilcox Silverplate With Bell Castor Cruet Set Condiments
This 7 piece bell cruet set came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked on the bottom Quadruple Plate Wilcox Silveplate Co 545. The stand has a brass bell that works. Maybe for calling a servant. At one time there may have been a handle on the bell as there are two marks on either side of the bell, see the 4th picture. The ring on the stand has an etched floral design. The stand measures 11 1/4" high and 7 1/2" wide at the widest point. It has alot of tarnishing and there are wear marks. I have not cleaned it. The cruets do not all match. Two of them match each other but not exactly the other four. All have an etched floral/leaf design and a light lavender tint. They are in good condition. One cruet has a rub mark on the top that the camera did not show. Two of the stoppers have chips. One on the bottom and the other has two small ... morechips with a rub mark. The three cruets with stoppers measure about 8 1/4" high with the stoppers in place. The two cruets with shaker tops measure 7 3/4" high. The smaller cruet measures 5 3/4" high.

~ Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Set ~ Gorgeous 14-piece. All original set made in the 1890s. It includes 6 cut glass crystal bottles with stoppers and 2 silver plate lidded jars. One jar includes a twisted silver plate spoon. The handle is black Bakelite and capped on the ends with decorative silver plate finials. Although this set displays just beautifully. It has some imperfections including tarnish. Fleabites, cracks and flakes. I've taken close-ups to show the most serious flaws. Both faceted stoppers have chips/roughness around their tendrils, one of the mushroom-shaped stoppers has a 3/4" cracked flange, there is a chip out of the rim of one bottle, there are fleabites on some corners and a few flakes around the mouths of the bottles/jars. One bottle has a little cloudiness to it. The others are all pretty clean and shiny. ... moreStill a knock-out set! This is a large set and all together it weighs 6 lbs. We looked for a makers mark but could not find it. We found a date of aug 1856 on the ball on tpp of the bell. We have not been able to find a similar item with the bell. It definitely shows signs of its over 150 years of age and use but a great piece for someone who wants a restoration project. Antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set, only four bottles
A pretty antique Victorian Silver Plate Condiment Castor and Cruet Set in very good condition. But with only four bottles instead of five. I can't find a name or mark except for the number 2169 on the bottom. The top design is a child picking apples with a circle on the very top. It doesn't seem to have any dents or any missing silverplate. It is 16" tall x 7" in diam. at the cruet holder. There are two cruets with faceted stoppers. One stopper has a teeny chip on the very top and a teeny chip on one of the points. I think these are daisy and button designs. Those two are 8 3/4" to the top of the stopper. The other two are 8 3/4" tall with silverplate salt shaker tops. One has a small chip on the rim under the screw on top. Everything seems to be great and very pretty.

Victorian Cranberry Thumprint cruet/castor set
Up for auction is a Victorian Cruet/Castor set- This jars in this set are cranberry colored and the jars have the thumbprint pattern. The cruet holder has a design around the edge of it. The holder does need cleaned. There are five jars in this set. The oil and vinegar jars have ground stoppers on them. There is some roughness on the ground part of the stoppers. You can see the air bubbles in the stoppers. All five of the jars are in excellent condition. I could not find or feel any chips or flea bites. This set is in excellent condition. I could not find any makers mark on this set. The overall set measures 15" tall.

Cranberry Thumb Print Glass Castor Cruet Set 1853-1859 Taunton Silver Plate Co.
Available for purchase. We have a beautiful cruet castor set. This set has 5 cranberry hand blown glass bottles with a thumb print pattern. The stand is triple silver plate made by The Taunton Silver Plate Co. In Taunton, Massachusetts. The stamp used on the stand was one that Taunton used from 1853-1859. Two of the glass bottles are missing their glass stoppers. There is also a mustard pot and 2 shaker bottles that have silver plate tops. Other than the missing stoppers, there is no chips or cracks. A couple of the bottles have a slightly crooked neck due to them being hand blown. It's hard to notice but true. The stand has a few rough spots where there is wear to the silver plate but nothing that would detract from a piece of this age. This listing is for an antique. Five bottle castor set. The stand is marked: Simpson, Hall, Miller& Co Quadruple Plate 116. It measures about 6.25" across the top, 4.75" to the rim, 15" to the top of the handle, and 5" across the bottom of the base. The holes are just a little under 2" across. The cruets are cut and etched, and the pattern on one is a little different. All three measure 6.5" to the rim, and 9" to the top of the stopper. The stoppers have tiny chips. The shakers are 6.75" tall. The silverplate needs polishing, and is worn off the handle. Shipping is based on 9lbs, packed weight.

Unique Victorian Silverplate Cruet Castor Condiment Set

Antique Victorian Cruet Castor Set with Amberina Glass Bottles
Offered is a beautiful and rare Victorian Era antique castor set with amber glass bottles. The silver-plate holder is marked Meriden B. Co. USA. The bottles have an etched leaf or wheat design and inverted thumbprints. There is some damage to the neck of the mustard bottle. There is a linear crack with two small chips at each end. I've pictured the damage for the buyer to evaluate. The other bottles are free of chips or cracks. I cannot get the lids off to clean them. The silver-plate stand is in good condition. I began polishing the underside and it cleaned up nicely. I'll continue to gently polish it with a soft polishing cloth for the new owner. The stand measures 13 1/2 inches tall. The mustard measures 6 inches tall, the shakers stand 7 1/2 inches tall as does the cruet without the stopper. Up for auction is a nice antique condiment set. Set comes with two paneled glass bottles with stoppers and two shakers on a silverplate footed stand. Set is overall in good condition. The two shakers each have a chip to the bottom edge. One bottle has a small chip to the bottom edge, wear to the silverplate, the handle on the tray is very loose. An antique silver plated cruet/castor set featuring lovely etched"cut to clear" amber glass decorated with swirls. Birds, structures and foliage. The silver plated stand stands approximately 14.5" tall and is marked on the bottom"3612 Mf'd and Plated by Reed& Barton" The amber glass oil and vinegar cruets measure approximately 8.5" and 8-1/8" The shakers each measure approximately 7-1/8" tall. The mustard jar measures just shy of 6.5" tall. There is wear and tear commensurate with age and use. There is some plate loss to the stand, particularly to the top surface where the bottles are inserted. The spoon is missing from the mustard jar. One of the stoppers has a small chip mid-body. Antique 6 Bottle Etched Glass Castor Set By Reed& Barton- Cruet/Condiment Set This antique 6 bottle castor set with revolving silverplate holder was made by Reed& Barton. It is rare to find a set this big with all of the matching pieces. Note the charming cherub on the stem. There are three etched cruets with glass stopper and three with silverplate lids. Of the silverplate lid items there is a salt and pepper set with removable lids and a condiment jar with a lid opening for a spoon. There is some light wear to the finish on the silverplating. Two of the glass stoppers have a chip at the base as shown, and one bottle has a bruise crack on it's base but still holds liquid. Also one of the bottles has a chip on the underside of the lip. This is a beauty! It is a set of 5 matching etched castor bottles that fit into a gorgeous frame that spins. All the bottles are free of any chips or cracks and could use a cleaning. All the silver has been replated and is in amazing shape. The photos show shadows and do not do it justice. As it is nicer than it looks! The handle is very ornate and there is a pretty floral pattern around the outside of the apron. Beautiful victorian five bottle rotating castor or condiment set. The upper metal edge has a floral pattern etched in the plating. The flower may be in the image of a poppy. The five bottles also have an etched design on them. The handle crosses in the center and has three flowers on the top and inlaid along both edges of the handle. The metal holder may be easily separated to make three pieces for ease of storage. The quadruple plate is marked Homan Silverplate Company. They used this name only between 1895-1905 when the name changed again. The company located in Cincinnati Ohio with multiple name changes over the years. This castor set is beautiful and would grace any table or china cabinet. Rogers & Bros Silverplate Cruet Castor Set 5 Crystal Etched Bottles Waterbury CT
This is a antique castor set marked Rogers& Bro. Waterbury Conn 2037. This number is also found on the underside of the three silverplated tops. There are 5 fitted bottles for salt. Pepper, oil, vinegar, and mustard. The bottles have no chips or cracks. The salt and pepper tops no longer fit securely onto the glass, whatever substance may have held them in place is long gone. The shaker part of the tops screw and unscrew easily. The glass stoppers both have blunted tips. The mustard pot is missing its spoon. The glass is etched with a leaf and berry design; the silverplate holder is etched with a grape( leaf motif. Weight is 4 1/2 pounds. Height of this piece is approx 13- 14"
