Wide antique/vintage Brussels net on net appliqué lace flounce - spotted tulips
This is an impressive Brussels wide net on net appliqué lace flounce. With an ornate baroque design of spotted tulips, daffodils and trailing flowers. I'm pretty sure that this has been re-claimed from a dress- although condition is generally good there is some damage to the top straight edge, scatterings of small holes and several neat repairs. Including a small patched area to bottom scallop. Occasionally net is coming away from the tambour edge. This is part of a family collection I bought recently which includes the tambour veil already listed. It measures 34 ins wide. 2 yards 29 inches long.

Not white ... morebut quite a gentle colour. There is a flurry of tiny holes to the ground and at one part, the net has dis-engaged from the heading for a few inches. Easy to put right. Not perfect then. But quite charming. The size is a good 11" deep by 50" long. Excellent for adding to your crinoline gown. I love the gently scalloped floral border! This is for a very interesting mid-18thc Brussels bobbin lace flounce. With birds! It is a very lovely fine lace. Finely worked, and of superior quality. This is from the"Pat Earnshaw Collection" Is as found, very soft and a creamy white color. It is in wonderful condition. But does have a few tiny pin hole in the ground, really minor. There also is the very lightest of age marks. Shown in pic 11. The length measures approx 66-67" x 3" This is really beautiful example. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This is an amazing and superb fine Brussels point de gaze lace that was once used to edge a 19th bridal dress. The fragile silk dress has long disappeared and the lace was found in the gorgeous wedding showcase that appears on pictures and is NOT INCLUDED in the auction There are obviously tiny defects(I tried to photographed all of them) but the lace is in a really fabulous condition considering its age It is very rare to find a complete length of lace with all its engrelures(top and sides) Flat measurements are an exceptional 132" length x 13.8" width(335cm L x 35cm largeur) Would be marvellous included in the old tradition of Something old. BEAUTIFUL FINE ANTIQUE LACE FLOUNCE VERY LONG 250 INS BY 13.5 INS BRUSSELS LACE? This is a beautiful fine but delicate antique lace flounce in a very long length worked in a wonderfully intricate floral design It is a great length. Approximately 250 ins by 13.5 ins(635 cms by 34 cms) Unfortunately there are some brown marks which needs to be removed and I do not know how to remove them. There are also some very small holes, none of them serious. Please study photographs which form an important part of description. Although there are quite a number of brown marks, on one side there is a piece of 7 feet and a piece of 5 feet which have no brown marks. This is a very beautiful length of lace which I have been told is brussels lace but I am not an expert. I am always happy to combine shipping in order to save on costs.

5 yards antique/vintage Brussels Point de Gaze lace flounce
This is a wonderful long length of late 19th century Brussels Point de Gaze lace with a beautiful delicate floral design. It measures 5 yards by 11.7 ins. This has no joins and both ends are finished. So I presume it is unused, although there is some loose hand stitching to top edge. It has a lovely crisp finish, though it really does need to be carefully cleaned- colour is a mid ecru and there are areas of pale age browning( one illustrated) In addition there are 2 dark brown age marks, which will be more difficult to remove, though they are near one end. There is the occasional small hole, but apart from this good condition. Fine& gorgeous antique Brussels Princess Lace trim. Circa 1890. Lush, detailed- this is simply beautiful! Size is 12 x 68 inches. Color is ecru. Four full repeats, and at least 3/4 of each motif at each side. Slightly shabby. Sold as is. Estate fresh and not laundered. A few dark storage spots, a large water stain(2nd last photo) and some holes(last photo) Some hooks are attached along one end, but I don't think this lace was ever used. Elaborate and wonderfully pretty!
