This gorgeous cream-colored Tambour net ecru lace bed cover from an estate dates to around the 1920s or 30s and is in excellent condition with no problems whatsoever. It is beautifully embellished with a lovely lace floral design which repeats the entire length of each scalloped side ruffle. Designed to fit a twin bed. The top is 40" wide and each ruffle at the sides is 14" long. The entiire cover is 94" long, not including the 5" panel at each end. Truly exquisite.very hard to find, especially in this condition.

The lace is asymmetrical. And has a charming design of a of a small bouquet of various flowers(e.g. cornflowers, harebell& star shaped amsonia, rose with thorns on stem) leaves and scroll patterns both large and small. The work all with infill stitch work, rings and curls. Please see the photographs. The lace has had two'edges' added. Thus forming the overall(diamond) shape to this piece. The similar patterning of scrolls and leaves to this edging as can be seen in the photos. There is one rough edge as you can see in the photos. The lace is in good condition. And has not been laundered. There are small holes in the netting and The left small medallion on the third panel has a broken connection. The lace trimming the edges on all three panels appears to be intact and complete. Sweet vintage/antique Tambour Lace Boudoir Pillow. Exceptional detail on this delicate treasure! I purchased the pillow many years ago from the woman who bought it while on an antique hunting trip in Paris. Silk Pillow"form" that fills the pillow is a rose pink color and shows signs of age- could easily be swapped out for a new pillow form but thought the original should be sold with the lace cover- I love the"age" It gives it character in my humble opinion. See photos of the silk that has separated/ worn due to age. There is a water mark on the back of the pillow- on the silk` also shown in photo. Top of pillow- there are small"pulls" in the thread of the lace that I have captured in the photographs- I believe this can be overlooked as I have had it on display for many years on a velvet settee with other pillows ... moreand the"pulls" have not affected the overall look of the display. I find no holes in the lace on the pillow or lace trim that surrounds it. Lovely Antique/Vintage Piece Of Tambour Lace. Pretty Piece Of Antique/Vintage Tambour Lace. A Lovely Panel of Tambour Lace measuring approx. 27" Wide x 25" Deep. The actual lace Design is approx. 12" x 11" The Design features Lovely Flowers with raised Petals tied with a Bow. Surrounded by Smaller Flowers and Leaves, and an Abstract Design all the way around the edge of the Design. In the background there are little groups of three circles joined together which look like shamrocks from a distance. A Lovely Piece but sadly damaged. The main problem is an approx. 2" x 2" tear which just touches the design, there is also two small pea sized holes inside the Embroidered design. It measures approx. 13" x 13" Embroidered vines and scrollwork appear to be done in thick silk thread on an ecru colored soft fine mesh net lace that is probably cotton. Embroidered flowers and leaves are framed by exquisite cutwork. Photos were taken against a dark wood floor so that you can see the details of the netting and appliqué. 3 Pair Vintage Tambour Cotton Tulle Net Lace Curtains 90" NOS w/ tags 6 panels
Simply gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. Yes. I said it three times: An incredible find. I'm so excited to have discovered these and offer them to my customers! As new; stored away since they were originally purchased, and NEVER USED! There is light storage tanning on the fold lines of these otherwise pristine panels, the tanning is just from being stored and it will soak out easily. NO HOLES, pristine net, with labels, raw top edge waiting for a simple rod fold, or whatever your imagination desires. These are stiff when new and become incredibly soft with a wonderful hand upon gently soaking. All cotton, made in Austria. Three matching NEW never used 90" long pairs, 6 panels total. It's hard enough to find 3 matching pairs of panels in good condition. And it's hard enough to find one unused curtain or pair with ... moreoriginal labels. And it's hard enough to find ANY this long without net flaws. Finding 6 matching panels with original tags at a 90 inch length is beyond what I ever expect to find again. although I'm always hopeful! Each of the single panels measures 34 inches wide x 90 inches in length. There is a larger motif on each panel in one corner. That corner is finished with a wider edge all the way up the length on the same side and across the bottom edge, the opposing edge is also finished the entire length with a thinner fine decorative border. All of this is shown in the pictures. I could have taken pics of these all day. I paid well for these as they are so very rare and hard to find. These were originally sold as pairs with one unlabeled panel folded inside the other, the one on the top had the label affixed and blue finishing paper to show off the design, so three pieces have labels and blue paper in the folds, and three don't. I took them out to inspect, display and photo them, and otherwise they will be put back together and sent in the same manner originally sold. here we have a beautiful lace curtain which I believe is tambour lace. I'm not an expert on lace so I don't know the origins or actually if its tambour lace but comparing it to pictures that I've seen that's what I would call it. its in excellent condition has a rod pocket and a valance. Has an embroidered lace flower pattern and a beautiful lace trim to the valence and the bottom of the curtain. has no tags so I'm not sure of the age or the material type. measures 84 inches long by approximately 54 inches wide. will add shabby French charm to any home.

3 Pairs - Vintage Applique Tambour Embroidered Lace Curtains
Here are 3 pairs of Belgium or Austrian tambour and appliqued embroidered curtain panels. They were probably made in the 1920's- 40's. They are a creamy beige netting with a floral scrolling design. The corner lace design measures over 19 inches on the diagonal and the edging lace varies from 3 to 3.5 inches. They measure 32 inches across and are 70 inches long. There are condition issues which is not unusual for this type of panel. They are still in good condition. See Pictures.Email if you would like more. 6 panels- some stains of a couple of panels. All panels have breaks in the netting from very small 2 threads to larger see pictures. Also one panel has what looks like 2 rows of holes in netting- like something catching across it. This is towards the top. The very top where a rod is inserted of about 3 panels has some holes that ... moremay have been from pulling across the rod. The worst holes in netting are closer to the edge and could be repaired/reinforced with similar netting that could almost make the tears disappear.I see one repair on one panel that was stitched over the netting. They will need to be insured with signature confirmation.

Vintage Tambour Lace Curtain Panels *Damaged* Set of 5 Ivory, Linen Blend
Set of 5 antique/vintage Tambour Lace Curtains that are incredibly ornate. They are not perfect! There is damage from age and much work to be done on them in order to restore them. The extensive floral applique embroidery is where the value lies. They could be used to create a stunning bridal gown or to adorn other linens. The first photos are from the second curtain panel. Which is in the best condition of all, the last few photos are from the other panels and I have tried to show the worst of the damage. They are not perfect! If you have an interest in more photos. It is cut on both ends from what must have been an impressive length of yardage. very deep at 36" x 45" long. It has a 1/2 inch sleeve on the top if you wish to hang it. It is supple and in good condition but I have not cleaned it. It has a few small spots as shown. FABULOUS VINTAGE TAMBOUR LACE PETTICOAT click picture to enlarge FABULOUS VINTAGE LACE PETTICOAT. SUPER THREE LAYERS. A fabulous vintage lace petticoat(soft cotton fabric) with three layers of lace. The bottom layer has an edge of light bobbin style lace to the gathered cotton. The second layer has tambour lace of flower style pattern with stems and leaves. The third(top) lace has tambour lace. Connected to a heavier motif lace and is presented in beautiful panels with ladder pattern between. This top layer covers approximately 2/3rds of the petticoat- thus giving a fuller effect toward the back. The waist band has a(vintage) pink soft elastic. Which has now become slack; and will need to be replaced. The petticoat has been adapted- as in its original condition, it would have been much longer. The vintage petticoat is in good condition. With ... moremarks, a small edge tear to the lace and a small hole. All not detracting and easily mended with a few stitches. This fab vintage lace petticoat measures approximately 52 cms from the lower of the waistband to the bottom of the petticoat. Please see the photographs. Please e-mail with any enquiries.
