The bottom/train area is wider than the top(head area) The Alencon lace goes around the entire piece- and there are scattered floral lace pieces in the center- At the bottom- the worked area goes up the center of the veil approx 21" inches at the top the worked area is approx 3" inches wide- On the sides of the bottom area the worked area is 8" at its widest point and then tapers as it goes up the veil This veil is in excellent original condition- NO holes. Lovely antique unfinished blouse. Made with the most exquisite net lace- very fine and beautiful! The lace features lavish hand-embroidered flowers in padded satin stitch. With a background of stars in tambour stitch. Likely French or Belgian in origin. Use the lace in your most romantic creation. Simply gorgeous! This piece is offered strictly for repurposing- the blouse is unfinished. Cut at an sharp angle, and has a few holes at the shoulder. It's not very well made. But the embroidery is in lovely condition- a couple small openings off to the side, a few storage spots, and possibly a missing flower at the top of the front panel. Some pattern lines are still visible in the embroidery. The motif in front measures about 14 x 15 inches. And the one in back approx 9 x 14 inches. Rare lace. And so pretty! Exquisite antique net lace skirt panel- very fine and beautiful! Lavish hand-embroidered flowers in padded satin stitch on soft and filmy net lace. With a background of stars in tambour stitch. Likely French or Belgian in origin. Re-purpose into your most romantic creation. Supple. Elaborate, and simply gorgeous! The panel measures well over 120 inches wide There are four sections joined together. And cut at an angle, with the two tallest panels meeting in the center. The ends measure about 19" tall, and the center panels are 32" at their tallest. The largest embroidered motif is 23" in height, from the scalloped edge to the top of the flower. The entire panel is s calloped along the bottom. Condition is excellent. Estate fresh and ulaundered. I note some openings. Features an elegant ... moreopen floral motif with interconnected vines and greenery. And is finished off with a focal point along the bottom, and a scalloped edge all around. Egg-shaped, this generously proportioned veil measures ~60inX120in, and is finished all around. In overall very good condition considering age with age yellowing, occasional scraggly threads mostly along the edges, a few light spots, and a few very small breaks in the headpiece area which do not detract from the veil's overall appearance. FINE Antique BRUSSELS PRINCESS LACE Net Flounce TRIM BRIDAL WEDDING VEIL 12x68
Fine& gorgeous antique Brussels Princess Lace trim. Circa 1890. Lush, detailed- this is simply beautiful! Size is 12 x 68 inches. Color is ecru. Four full repeats, and at least 3/4 of each motif at each side. Slightly shabby. Sold as is. Estate fresh and not laundered. A few dark storage spots, a large water stain(2nd last photo) and some holes(last photo) Some hooks are attached along one end, but I don't think this lace was ever used. Elaborate and wonderfully pretty!

Antique Long Floral Wedding Lace Bridal Veil + Head Piece Beads Wax Flowers
Absolutely lovely 1920's lace bridal veil with head piece. When I took the photos I started at the top and worked my way down just to show the different types of lace and size. The head piece is made up of beads. A few rhinestone and wax flowers with double lace. There is a thin silk strip that has a hook on one end and an eye on the end of the veil. The veil itself is a beautiful floral lace pattern. The 2 pieces that come from the head piece are thin and then the pieces of lace get thicker and sort of circle down. The length of the veil is about 143" and there are no ends the smaller pieces are just sewn to the larger pieces and end being attached. The thinner part is about 4" wide and the wider part is about 12" The head piece is about 14" long and 4" wide and has a double ruffle. The flowers on one side is ... morea smaller clump or some of the petals have fallen off. The head piece is exquisite. The lace is in very excellent condition all over and there is a lot of it. I can see no tears or stains. In a very few small sections there is a slightly different color not staining just a little darker. It's made very well and is very lovely as is the head piece.
