This table set includes one table runner. Eleven placemats, and twelve napkins. The napkins have a hand embroidered. Triple monogram The table runner and palcemats are a light tan color. The napkins are a light cream linen with a dark cream border and the initials are ivory The table runner measures 16" x 48" The placemats measure approx 17 x 11" and the napkins measure 17 1/2" x 17 1/2" The table runner has a couple spots ranging from rice to quarter size. No other damage. Four of the placemats have single breaks. One has a couple breaks, another has a loose accent piece on a leaf, and all of the placemats have some light age spotting, and ... morefour of them have darker more noticeable age spots. Lace "Dressing Table?" Doilies/Place mats.
These are six lace doilies which I would imagine would be for a dressing table or tea table. They are exquisitely carefully made and I have to let the photos tell their story since my knowledge of lace is pretty non-existant. I know that they were my late mother's but I have never seen them being used. She had many things from her mother so I would imagine that they are early 20th century or late Victorian. They are somewhat discoloured from lack of use. Any more information please ask.
