An early 1900's embroidered cotton and tambour lace curtain panel measuring about 32" wide and 39" long. Tambour lace top hem. Including the tambour lace flowers, is about 12" deep. Bottom hem is about 2½" deep. A few areas where the tambour lace has unstitched. Minute and hardly visible. Likewise for some of the chain stitch. The cotton is crisp and clean. 110g

Huge Vintage Cream Cotton Lace panel. Scalloped edges
Beautiful huge heavy pure cotton vintage lace curtain with scalloped side edges. The colour is cream. This was an Austrian lace curtain. Measures 144 inches long x 94 inches wide. This lace is the old fashioned kind and quite thick and heavy. Great for windows as you cannot see through this lace. Also makes beautiful bedding. I have made a lovely bedspread out of a similar piece with matching cushions. There is a very small tear is the fabric which is very easy to repair. It is 1.5 inches. The lace is slightly frayed along one edge and just needs trimming. Deep pencil pleats to top. Measures inches wide by inches plus hem. Good clean condition and quality. The style is Victorian. From a very clean smoke free home. I am clearing out my linen cupboard as part of a house move and will have several vintage lace. Fabrics and linens on my site ... moreover the next few weeks.

Large Amount Of vintage Cream Cotton Lace&Small Lace Panel
I am hoping that someone can make use of this beautiful lace trim and smaller piece of lace.They came along with some textiles that I bought some time ago.Looking at the condition of both pieces of lace.I would say that they have never been used.The first piece is so pretty and a good amount of it.It measures approx 720cms long and 7.5cms wide at its longest point.Ideal edging for pillowcases and sheets?The smaller piece could look good on a dressing table.It is in really good condition,but need hemming on the sides.It measure approx 52cms by 21cms.

Created long ago in the mill towns of the Valley or brought here by families from around the world. Here you will find these and other beautiful and useful things they couldn't do without. FINE OLD UNUSED SHEER COTTON& LINEN LACY CURTAIN PANEL! Beautiful medium tan lacy cotton and linen curtain panel with both hand and machine made deep lace at the bottom. Panel was found with another curtain pair as well as a bedspread and sham all listed separately. This panel has a cut end at the top that would need to be hemmed for a rod pocket. Bottom is where the action is. A deeply decorated scalloped edge with machine made figural filet lace insets and hand made linen knotted lace insets set in as diamond shapes. Insets ... moreare trimmed around with machine made cluny lace strips that also trim the bottom edges. The effect is extravagant. We believe the curtain was never used, but stored for about a century. Sometimes during storage damage can happen and in this case a few inches of the cluny lace trim along the bottom edge seems to have been nibbled on, picture will show. This type of lace can be replaced as it sometimes can be found, but the color will have to be adjusted with tea staining or dye, not too difficult. Another flaw consists of a couple of darkened dots among the knotted lace, hard to see. And yet a third flaw is a small hole in the upper portion. We offer the panel as found, with flaws that are not terribly distracting. Condition is otherwise very good, even excellent. Measures 36" wide by 70" long. Please see our other listings for the pair of matching curtain panels. And a bedspread and sham set. All were found in the same estate lot but they have small variations that are best described separately. BUYERS PLEASE NOTE Textiles and other antiquities are rarely perfect.
