It has a great crest on it. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39 inches high to the marble and 96 inches high to the top. The door compartments are divided with a shelf on each side. There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. There are a few pieces of molding missing that aren’t anything major, but I wanted to mention it. Other than three or four little sections with the molding issues, it is in really nice condition.

The carvings themselves are an art statement that would likely cost more than the entire sideboard. This is a great collectible piece of oak. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 25 inches deep, 39 inches high to the base and 86 inches high overall. The mirror glass size is 39 inches wide by 17 inches high. The mirror shows silver loss which adds charm and character. It has the original hardware. The knobs on the left-hand drawer has spacers instead of a washer, but it works. It has all the escutcheons.

There is 11.5” from the shelf to the top overhang of the piece.

Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. The two doors open on the base to expose a shelf interior. The center is the mirror panel with the pillars and is not a door. You have a double door front and a center with carved pillars. This sideboard measures 58 inches tall from the floor to the top of the sides of the chimney back-splash. 48 inches in height to the top of the front,62 1/2 inches wide and 25 3/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 200 lbs. All of the locks are intact on this piece but the key provided just aids in opening the doors at the base. The center silver-ware drawer has remnants of the old green felt lining that the new owner may want to replace with new felt. This piece features a solid walnut one board top. A chamfered back, the original wood pulls, early dove-tailed ends on the drawers and four large bun feet. This early Victorian sideboard offers a tremendous amount of storage possibilities and does so with grand elegance of a by gone era. And would surely be a gorgeous focal point in your home. It's very difficult to take pictures when there is a mirror. And this is a large piece. The pictures do not do this piece justice! This Server is sitting in the back room of my shop, and I just didn't have the room to focus for a picture. The glare is terrible in some of the pics. And the blue showing in the mirror is from a tarp thats hanging in the building. I had the server redone as far as replacing the marble top. And all the drawer pulls. They were replaced with brass ones as close to what might be original as I could find. Two keys are included. As far as I know the mirrors are original. The piece features three doors on the front which open to reveal shelves. This is a door on the side which opens to reveal a leaf holder. This would have been used to store up to five of the leaves from an extending table. But today could also have other uses. The gorgeous flame mahogany is a wonderful colour which is the result of 150 years of sunlight and can not be reproduced today. There are areas of missing and damaged veneer on the base. The drawer pulls are not original. And the drawer locks have been removed. One of the pads(back left) the base rests on is missing. The spindle detail on the left side of the base under the marble is missing. There is some silver loss to the mirrors. This is a pretty much untouched. Original as-found unbelievable Eastlake incise carved mirror backed spindle galleried top ICEBOX! Yes, ... moreit’s an icebox. Even though it looks like a sideboard, this is a two-door icebox with a mirror buffet back, that came out of a really nice home. I had one of these about 22 years ago, and this is only the third one I’ve had in my 43 years in this business. Made of walnut and in its original finish, it has the original brass Victorian embossed hardware doorknobs, and even the faucet is original. The faucet will have to be re-soldered so it doesn’t drip or leak. When opened, you can see the original zinc lining that just needs to be buffed up. It has the water tanks, the shelves, and just about everything except the original key. The top cover lifts up and you put the ice in, and there is a water faucet right in the icebox. It must have been a marvel in the 1870s or‘80s when it was built? Unfortunately someone has ripped the label off the back, and I don’t know the original manufacturer. The top has a stick and ball gallery, incise carved panels, three-quarter inch beveled rectangular mirror in the center, and even the little tiny finials in the top. Large C19th Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Inlaid Sideboard Server Cupboard
Here for offer we have a large mahogany Victorian inlaid bowfronted sideboard dating to the late 19th century. This impressive example has a shaped square edged top with crossbanding over two long drawers with three drawers flanked by cupboard doors raised on square tapering supports with spade feet. Each of the drawers and cupboards are finished with beautiful satinwood inlay detailing giving it a very regal feel. Each drawer is of dovetail construction with lion mask handles. The sideboard is solid in build with a few knicks and knocks associated with age and some photographed. Robustly and beautifully constructed in light oak. This substantial piece belies it's age and has a contemporary feel well suited to a grand dining room. Coffee shop, boutique hotel or restaurant. The generous surface sits atop two cupboards and a central drawer. The locking field panel doors are flanked by chamfered pilasters with stop ends and conceal voluminous storage conveniently organised by three drawers of varying sizes in each cupboard. My wife and I have sold our Victorian home and are selling many of the furnishings. Here is a circa 1885 antique Victorian burled walnut drop-center dresser with marble top and candle holders.
