The sideboard is in amazing condition, with very ... morelittle sign of wear at all. It is the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are some visible seams on the burled top, and it does have some holes from wood beetles, but it has been treated, and should not have any more issues. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that it comes from France, and was originally contructed between 1850 and 1880. The sideboard has short cabriole reverse scroll feet.

What a grand sideboard! This is by far one of the nicest pieces of furniture in our 20.000 square-foot antiques mall. It stands an impressive 8 feet 9 1/2 inches tall. The main cabinet surface is made from one solid piece of wood that is over 1 inch thick, 63 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The 22 inch and 19 inch wide wood doors are carved from single solid pieces of wood! The craftsmanship in this piece is incredible. The hand cut beveled glass panes are still in their original condition. All of the original hardware and keys are in tact. The main door and crown are intricately handcarved in a beautiful asymmetrical pattern. The lower cabinet doors have a locking mechanism that runs the entire length of the door from top to bottom. This stunning late 1800s sideboard is one of the nicest we've ever had. Its measurements are roughly: 55" wide. 88" tall, and 24" deep. The upper enclosure is faced with beveled glass! The mirror underneath the top is also beveled. There are two minor traces of candle scorching on either side of the upper center door. The hardware is exceptional. The castors are new. Antique French sideboard 19th Century Tiger Oak Beveled Glass & Brass
This is a very charming Antique French sideboard from the mid-late 19th Century made of Tiger oak. Medium color with beautiful beveled glass on the upper door fronts as well as a beveled mirror on the center. It features carved brass detailing throughout and on the door pulls. There is shelving in both the upper and lower cabinets. The upper and lower components detach for easier transport. This was imported from a shop in France.
