Full length door hinges and ornate metal drawer pulls accent the front opf the piece as well as a simple floral carving on the valanced skirt. Three drawers and a generously sized lower cabinet make this a practical storage piece as well. The sideboard most liekly dates from around the 1840's. Overall. This piece is in very good condition, especially considering its age. There are some noticeable scratches and wear to the top surface and a few areas with eveidence of worm damage. One of the feet also has some signs of a minor repair. No other breaks or damage beyond light wear consistent with use. The sideboard stands 39.5" tall and measures approximately 53.5" wide and 21.5" deep. Antique French Provincial Normandy Buffet Hutch Dresser C 1840 Reduced
Antique French Normandy Provincial Buffet. The hutch is two piece measuring 44 1/4" wide by 16 1/2" deep and stands 79" tall. The top can be mounted on the wall for additional work space. The bottom dresser top is full finished.The buffet features two plate rails a single lower silver drawer and a full cabinet with one shelf below. This is quite a handsome piece with figural carvings and spooled turnings. The piece is in excellent condition with the original hardware. The hardware could be polished to reveal the brass and make the piece pop. We have left in with the original patina for the purest. The Normandy buffet is legal antique and dates circa 1840. I also have a matchmate cabinet that came from the same estate I will be listing shortly. Antique Cherry French Provincial Sideboard c. 1840 Country Buffet Server
Exquisite antique French Provincial style buffet or sideboard made from beautifully grained cherry wood. This piece has many hallmarks of high quality construction. Including panelled sides and dovetail joints in the three drawers. Full length door hinges and ornate metal drawer pulls accent the front opf the piece as well as a simple floral carving on the valanced skirt. Three drawers and a generously sized lower cabinet make this a practical storage piece as well. The sideboard most liekly dates from around the 1840's. Overall. This piece is in very good condition, especially considering its age. There are some noticeable scratches and wear to the top surface and a few areas with eveidence of worm damage. One of the feet also has some signs of a minor repair. No other breaks or damage beyond light wear consistent with use. Antique Oak French Provincial Buffet Country Sideboard Credenza
Stunning antique oak French Provincial style buffet. This generously sized piece has plenty of storage space and two shelves that could be used for serving. The fronts of the two main doors are carved with a motif of ribbons and musical instruments and there are simple flowers adorning the valanced and scrolled skirt. Panelled doors. Sides and back. Drawer pulls and other hardware look like antiqued brass. Each of the narrow side cabinets have two shelves that come with them, but are not currently installed. The back of the lower shelf has been covered in a white textured paper that is very pretty, but likely not original to the piece. Unsure of the buffet's exct age, but believe it to date from the late 1800's. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. Antique French Provincial Solid Cherry Credenza Buffet
We bought this beautiful patina cherry wood buffet at Joyce Horne Antiques in Houston. She brought it over from France. Unfortunately we need the space and have to sell it. We had a glass made for the top to protect it. The wood is beautiful with a depth to the finish that speaks quality. Keys to doors included. A piece for generations! 86 1/2" long. 37" high, 18" wide. Antique 19th c. French Provincial Carved Pine & White Oak Large Sideboard Buffet
Selling a beautiful antique French Provincial side board with wood/glass upper displays(you are buying the entire piece as shown) We recently purchased several large pieces from a local winery that is changing ownership and renovating their tasting room. All of the pieces were originally brought in at a great expense from France to showcase wine. While we love this piece. It is too large for our small shop and we are selling it. It is currently being used to display some of our antique porcelains. This is a very large and intricately carved sideboard/cabinet. It was made in two pieces- upper and lower half due to the large overall size. It is made of pine and white oak with beautiful carvings throughout. It dates to about 1880. The height of the piece is 90" at the tallest part and 84" at the shorter sides. The overall width is ... more84" The middle section is 23" deep and the sides are 18" deep. The holes next to the knobs on the bottom are where the locks have been removed but these will be put back in for the buyer. The top of the cabinet(glass uppers) have also been wired for lighting. The overall condition is excellent. There are minor scratches etc. in places as is normal for a provincial piece of this age. All doors. Hinges etc. are excellent and glass is all intact. The piece comes in 2 pieces as it is quite large and this makes for easier transport. This item can be picked up from our store Maxine's Relics in Calistoga or we can arrange local delivery. This lovely Antique French buffet dates from the 1800s. It is made of beautiful oak wood and has lovely hardware. It measures 58"W x 24"D x 39"H. It is in good condition considering the age. Substantial. Louis XV style, elegant, French provincial, walnut sideboard from a Los Gatos, CA estate. Enhanced with sinuous carvings; original hardware; a most beautiful gray-green&white marble top& backsplash. There are four pull-out drawers; two on the front& one on each corner. Below them is the storage area with shelves. The overall shape is enhanced by the curve of each end and the carved edge of the marble.
