The pulls have a lions head in the center. There are two doors underneath that open up to a storage area. The sideboard has claw feet with casters. It has panel sides. Early 1800's sideboard made of quarter sawn oak. This piece is an early American Arts and Crafts piece handcrafted with the makers signature under the drawer and hand made dovetails. The mirror is the original beveled mirror with only minor graining. This side board is in remarkable condition for its age with only minor staining to the top as pictured that does not take away from the piece. But adds to its character. The finish is original. I believe that at some point someone replaced a set of hinges on the cabinet door. It is older but does not appear original. This wonderful piece can be viewed just north of Sacramento in Rocklin.
