There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1870 and 1899. The sideboard has short reverse scroll feet with beautiful carving that runs up the side supports from the feet. The sideboard has carved accents on the front of the doors, at the outer edges of the large drawer, with matching carved details on the top mirrored frame and pillar supports.

The drawers. Columns, the edges, are carved with fruits and nuts and the spectacular ever so classic carved dolphins on the bottom base of this incredible cabinet. One is a larger drawer with two smaller drawers on each side. This cabinet has a backsplash that attaches seperatly to the lower cabinet. Offered here is a gorgeous Antique French Carved Walnut Buffet circa 1880. This piece features the crest with Northwind mask. Then upper cabinet with foliate carved panels and display shelf raised on baluster form supports over a three drawer, three door base cabinet similarly relief carved with fruit filled urns and foliate panels. This beautiful buffet measures 110" high x 76" wide x 23" deep and would be the focal piece of any room. The piece is in very nice condition, but it does have a few flaws expected in a piece its age. There are a few trim pieces missing, along with a couple of splits in the wood, none of which are very noticeable for important and do not distract from the piece in any way. Finials, carved Lion heads,burl walnut panel accents and a fancy carved scroll and shell gallery as well as the original beautiful brown marble top and the original brass hardware and early dove-tailed ends on the drawers. This sideboard/ buffet measures a total height of 82 1/2 inches( 6 ft 10 1/2 in) to the top of the carvings on the very top center. Height from the floor to the top of the brown marble measures 36 1/2 inches,with a total width of 48 1/4 inches and a depth at the base of 21 1/2 inches and this pieces weighs approximately ... more250 lbs. This sideboard does dis-assemble into 4 pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The fine display shelf above the marble measures 26 inches in height above the marble top and the shelf measures 43 inches wide by 11 inches deep.The larger mirror measures 19 inches high by 33 inches wide, and the three mirrors at the top each measure 10 inches wide by 6 inches high. This is a fabulous piece in wonderful antique condition and the original brown marble top is also just beautiful with no apologies we can find. This elegant English sideboard is made of walnut and is in original finish. It is hand carved with grapes and leaves and has dovetail construction. This is a quality. Well built piece of furniture. The mirror is beveled and has intact silver and the brass hardware is original. There are 3 drawers with 2 doors on either side. One door houses 2 pullouts and the other has shelves. As far as condition there are age crack in the op which I have shown in detailed pictures. There is a crack on one side. Also pictured. At the back where the mirror rests there is minor damage. Here is an Antique Victorian Sideboard/Server/Buffet; Walnut. Inlaid wood, Marble Top, Mirrors 1890's Dovetail construction First.I apologize for the pictures! It's very difficult to take pictures when there is a mirror. And this is a large piece. The pictures do not do this piece justice! This Server is sitting in the back room of my shop, and I just didn't have the room to focus for a picture. The glare is terrible in some of the pics. And the blue showing in the mirror is from a tarp thats hanging in the building. I had the server redone as far as replacing the marble top. And all the drawer pulls. They were replaced with brass ones as close to what might be original as I could find. Two keys are included. As far as I know the mirrors are original. The unit comes apart in 2 pieces making moving very manageable. Age: Circa 19th Century. France Measurements: 88" H(total height) 56" W, 22" D. Three framed panels with the two on the outside with carved cherry tree branches and the center with a burled panel The sides have lots of detail with Eastlake style pierce carvings of flowers. The large center mirror is beveled and in mint condition. The marble is sausage and original with no cracks or breaks. By far. One of the nicest pieces of furniture we have had the opportunity to offer. This is a wonderfully carved server or cabinet made of solid walnut. It had 2 drawers above double doors. The interior has a fixed shelf. The columns are full carved and burled. The handles are also carved wood. The condition is excellent. One of the cabinet doors is slightly warped but still works perfectly. The finish is beautiful and the color warm and consistent. In 15 years, this is the first of it's kind that I've had the opportunity to own. This is a true antique. A fine piece of furniture. It would go nicely in any decor. This is a pretty much untouched. Original as-found unbelievable Eastlake incise carved mirror backed spindle galleried top ICEBOX! Yes, ... moreit’s an icebox. Even though it looks like a sideboard, this is a two-door icebox with a mirror buffet back, that came out of a really nice home. I had one of these about 22 years ago, and this is only the third one I’ve had in my 43 years in this business. Made of walnut and in its original finish, it has the original brass Victorian embossed hardware doorknobs, and even the faucet is original. The faucet will have to be re-soldered so it doesn’t drip or leak. When opened, you can see the original zinc lining that just needs to be buffed up. It has the water tanks, the shelves, and just about everything except the original key. The top cover lifts up and you put the ice in, and there is a water faucet right in the icebox. It must have been a marvel in the 1870s or‘80s when it was built? Unfortunately someone has ripped the label off the back, and I don’t know the original manufacturer. The top has a stick and ball gallery, incise carved panels, three-quarter inch beveled rectangular mirror in the center, and even the little tiny finials in the top. Stunning Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut& Burl Marble Top Sideboard Buffet c1875 Being offered for sale is this exquisite Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut and Burl Walnut Sideboard/ Buffet with a beautiful egg cartouche and graped carved crest. Dropped finials, rosettes and recessed oval panels of burl with filigree burl panels encasing the ovals.The drawer pulls are masterfully carved and the unique original key works all the locks on the drawers. The drawer ends offer period dove-tailing and there is old felt lining inside each drawer.The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful, truly a statement piece! This piece measures a total height of 84 inches to the top of the crest. Total width of 55 1/4 inches, height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 36 inches,total depth of the base is 21 ... moreinches, and this piece weighs approximately 160 lbs total and does dis-assemble into four pieces(base, marble, shelf portion, crest)for easier handling during shipping and moving. The Lovely display shelf measures 48 inches wide,12 inches deep and is 23 inches from the shelf to the marble. The original key does work the locks on the drawers but just aids in opening the doors.The locks are there but appear stuck. This fabulous 19th century sideboard has a wow presence for sure and is solid and tight and in excellent antique condition for being approximately 130 years or so old. There is a small piece of the grapevine carving missing at the tip end of the grape cluster on the crest, and a tiny piece of molding missing on the right side right above the marble(see next to last picture) and the left door does present with a slight age shrinkage separation in the center that is not very noticeable but there, all which I have tried to capture in the pictures, nothing major in my opinion but wanted to point them out. An impressive, elegant sideboard that has withstood time very gracefully and would surely be a splendid focal point and a touch of elegance and grandeur to your home. P

The whole heavily decorated with figures. The two doors on the right part of the sideboard having two carved figures in the center. One of a monk, the other of a nobleman. They are both looking at each other. The left side of the sideboard has two doors, one a carved figure of a queen, the other a nun. All of these were of high social status in midieval Europe and thus these figures are placed above a multitude of carved figures depicting the serfs or commoners. Antique Victorian Eastlake Marble Top Walnut Sideboard Buffet Burl Wood
Beautiful Victorian Eastlake walnut sideboard/buffet with marble top. It has 2 drawers and 2 doors. Each drawer has 2 hand carved leaves and nuts wood pulls. One of the pulls has a small chipped edge and screws have been placed through it. Drawers have hand cut dove tails. Each door features recessed oval panels of burl walnut. Drawers and doors have wooden keyhole covers. The marble top has normal wear for age-some stains and small chips-no cracks noted. The marble has 2 drilled holes-it appears to have previously had a mirror attached. Measurements: 42 3/4"W x 37"T x 19 1/2"D We estimate that it weighs approximately 80-90 lbs.
