Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. Here is an exquisite. Massive, Antique 19th cent. American(probably Horner) quarter sawn oak sideboard buffet server. Straight out of a Long Island estate. Was in the same family for 70 years. This piece was made around 1880 and represents carved oak at its best. Incredibly carved with lions' heads. Paws, ribbons, and scrolls. Doors are all carved scrolls with center cartouche. They are separated by 2 columns of carved ribbons and fruit. The drawers above have handles of lions' faces. The top is crowned with an incredible lion head. The only condition issues are a small ring stain and a darker area on the top front right. Also a thin slit in the wood appx 18 inch long. These are very minor and can easily be fixed. We are pleased to offer this stunning antique American hepplewhite mahogany sideboard to the market. The maker of this is unknown and there are no tags on it. Made from mahogany and mahogany veneer. This is a solid piece that can be used in multiple rooms and for multiple purposes. Because of its' size. This is a great piece to hold a flat screen tv. It measures 36 5/8" high x 45 11/15" wide x 18 5/8" deep. This has a single drawer over a pair of cupboard doors. The doors have a lock and a key. The lock is not working properly(or it is the wrong key) This has a cross banded top and the doors have an inlaid fan medallion made with satinwood. The drawer has dove tail joints and the original brass hardware. It has a spade foot with pinstripe inlay. The pinstripe inlay is also seen on the front columns. Style of this vanity has influences of Mission with the straight lines, and also Empire with the curved scrolled front legs, typical of a late 19th century transitional piece. There are neat deeply colored marbled Butterscotch Bakelite vertical pulls on all drawers and doors. This buffet was used so it does show wear here and there. It measures 15 1/2" deep The top part is 51" high by 52" wide. The top part has 2 shelves inside plus the bottom. These shelves measure 9" deep. Register with bold tripled molding. The front of each lower door is beautifully carved on burl panels. The original locks are present and there are three original keys. Dating to the late 1800's. Combine all of this with the paneled sides and burl insets and carving to create an elegant piece of furniture. This piece is in solid. Sturdy condition with aged patina and only some minor age appropriate wear and flaws. Total measurements: 88" tall x 58" across and 23" deep. Top piece: 52" high. 55" across, 15" deep. It has three shelves with plate indents in the back. The shelves are adjustable all the way from bottom to top. The bottom piece is 36" high. 58" across, 23" deep. The front drops down to display green felt on the base and storage in the back all of which could be used as a writing table or for sorting dishes and flatware- green felt has some marks- see pictures. The bottom doors open and has"saw tooth. There are no shelves for the bottom piece. I haven't seen them during the 45 years that mom had the piece. 18th century solid oak Butlers Hutch This was purchased over 30 years ago at the Antique Buyers guild( The old Helms Bakery L.A) We where told at the time of the purchase that it dates to the late 1700's and was made in the Adam period French in origin. It is a impressive piece of furniture. It is all hand carved solid oak. The cabinets each have one shelf inside bottom is sagging so I placed a piece of hard board in there. It has a incredible dark patina. It measures approx. 94 1/2" tall 47" wide under 24" deep The hutch is attached to the base using dowels So it lifts off the base From what I remember they only stick out a inch You need at least a 8' ceiling. My home was built in the late 1940's so the ceilings are 8'2" a newer home might be a tight fit. Years ago because I was concerned about earthquakes ... moreI attached 2) 2"x4"s to the back to make it sturdier. They are stained to match. So for those of you with a tight fit. I think it could be set up without the dowels across the back because of the 2" x4"s the 2 spindles in the front supporting the hutch also come off. There are dowels sticking out both ends. You could leave one end in and maybe put a screw trough the bottom. One other modification I noticed will up inside the cabinet is that wood was added on both sides under the base's top( I would guess the top may have been sagging under the weight of the Hutch) hence the addition. There are 2 small dowels missing on the rail on the inside( good place) hardly noticeable. One small piece gone off the top. Again hardly noticeable. I didn't catch it when I bought it. Other then that as you can see it is impressive without being over bearing. I don't need to sell so I don't plan on dropping my prices. This price is what I want to part with it. Made in England, Regency period circa 1820, Mahogany, Keys included, Beautiful patina, Antique brass hardware(not original) Age split to top. Purely cosmetic, Very sturdy, This unique sideboard was made during the Regency period in England. Sometime around 1820. In keeping with classic Regency period design, this sideboard was crafted with a series of large, bold features that have helped not only to make it a beautiful specimen of English craftsmanship, but also a strong and enduring furniture piece. For example, the wood used in this sideboard is ... moreincredibly thick(note the large legs) and of course all of it is solid. The flame mahogany, which has developed a lovely patina, displays an incredibly rich grain and complexion. The solid brass handles have been replaced at some point, but they are antique themselves and go well with the Regency period. The two center drawers, right large drawer, and left cabinet door all lock with included keys. The right drawer has a fitted interior that was used for holding wine bottles. There is an age split to the top on the back right hand side, but this is very minor and purely cosmetic. A picture is included of it. The top has minor marks throughout that show as distressing that gives the piece authenticity of its age without detracting from it. Overall this sideboard is very sturdy and is a wonderful value for such a wonderful piece. Plenty of storage space in this sideboard. The left drawer is fitted to hold wine bottles. The drawers are jointed with hand cut dovetails. These antique brass pulls are not original to the piece. But are consistent with the style. The thick. Turned legs are one of the main characteristics of the Regency style. The mahogany has developed a beautiful patina.

ANTIQUE FRENCH COUNTRY 18 c. OAK BIBLIOTHEQUE BUFFET BOOKCASE Formally the top part of an 18th century French Buffet a Deux Corps currently used as a bookcase. The bottom part was lost through the centuries and the top was raised on bun feet and rounded apron was added to the bottom. This transformation took place a while ago and the wood shows some aging and doesn’t stand out. Two doors open wide. Revealing the interior, which is about 52” from side to side ... moreand 13” deep and 52” tall. We have added two 1 ½” thick heavy duty pine shelves. Which are completely adjustable and will hold a lot of weight. The shelves were aged to look old and will not stand out. The front doors are covered with gathered French country style fabric. Which can be removed so that you can see the interior through the glass. The lock is in working condition, complete with the key. The bibliotheque measures about 59” at the widest point and about 20 ¾” deep. It stands up about 63 ½” tall and the top surface can be used as a shelf. Displaying collectable items. Very heavy. Solid and well built item. The primer material is oak. However, secondary woods was also used on the sides and the back, which is common for 18th Century furniture. We were using it in our office for files and fabric samplers and it is hard to find a bookcase which will fit oversized files and provide such great access as this item does. Antique Rosewood Marble Top Server or Console Made in England Circa 1870.
This is a very nice rose wood Server made in England circa 1870 in very good condition. They used to serve drinks off the top as the marble would keep the drinks cool. Its all original to either side of the base there are two candy twist pillars, and inside the base has the original shelf. The mirror doors to the base are a little a little worn with age but look fine. The top comes of the base so it is easy to transport. Measurements are 48 wide. 16 deep, 33 high to the top of the base and the back part with the mirror is an extra 15 inches.
