It has a great crest on it. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39 inches high to the marble and 96 inches high to the top. There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. The two doors open on the base to expose a shelf interior. The center is the mirror panel with the pillars and is not a door. You have a double door front and a center with carved pillars. This Server is sitting in the back room of my shop, and I just didn't have the room to focus for a picture. The glare is terrible in some of the pics. And the blue showing in the mirror is from a tarp thats hanging in the building. I had the server redone as far as replacing the marble top. And all the drawer pulls. Dropped finials, rosettes and recessed oval panels of burl with filigree burl panels encasing the ovals.The drawer pulls are masterfully carved and the unique original key works all the locks on the drawers. The drawer ends offer period dove-tailing and there is old felt lining inside each drawer.The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful, truly a statement piece! This piece measures a total height of 84 inches to the top of the crest. Total width of 55 1/4 inches, height from the floor to the top of the marble measures 36 inches,total depth of the base is 21 ... moreinches, and this piece weighs approximately 160 lbs total and does dis-assemble into four pieces(base, marble, shelf portion, crest)for easier handling during shipping and moving. The Lovely display shelf measures 48 inches wide,12 inches deep and is 23 inches from the shelf to the marble. The original key does work the locks on the drawers but just aids in opening the doors.The locks are there but appear stuck. This fabulous 19th century sideboard has a wow presence for sure and is solid and tight and in excellent antique condition for being approximately 130 years or so old. There is a small piece of the grapevine carving missing at the tip end of the grape cluster on the crest, and a tiny piece of molding missing on the right side right above the marble(see next to last picture) and the left door does present with a slight age shrinkage separation in the center that is not very noticeable but there, all which I have tried to capture in the pictures, nothing major in my opinion but wanted to point them out. An impressive, elegant sideboard that has withstood time very gracefully and would surely be a splendid focal point and a touch of elegance and grandeur to your home. P

Gorgeous Victorian era marble top server or sideboard. This beautiful piece has been capped with a gray and white marble top with rounded corners. The server show signs of high-quality construction including a paneled back and sides and sturdy dovetail joint drawers. The two drawers have fluted edges surrounding burl walnut inlay. Pressed brass pulls with a sun-like like design and silver-friendly linings. The lower cabinet has two doors, each with a burl walnut panel framed in a molded edge. The ring shaped pulls and brass escutcheons are made from brass. This piece most likely dates from the late 19th century. No maker's marks. The server is in good antique condition with some small holes in the marble top. See pictured example. The locks have been removed. Substantial. Louis XV style, elegant, French provincial, walnut sideboard from a Los Gatos, CA estate. Enhanced with sinuous carvings; original hardware; a most beautiful gray-green&white marble top& backsplash. There are four pull-out drawers; two on the front& one on each corner. Below them is the storage area with shelves. The overall shape is enhanced by the curve of each end and the carved edge of the marble. A very fine antique. Circa 1870's, solid walnut and walnut burl veneers Renaissance Revival mirror backed and marble topped sideboard. Two piece construction, with original gray veined beveled marble top. The top section has three mirrors, with architectural elements and carvings, and two nick nack shelves. The case has three long drawers over three doored compartments, each compartment with a stationary removable walnut shelf. There are fine burl walnut veneers on raised panels. It has been very finely refinished, includes all locks, each lock with identical brass(six) keys. Sideboard measures 7'10" 94" tall by 5'6" 66" wide by 21" deep at center. Excellent condition: walnut boards without chips or cracks, burls without chips. The marble is without chips or cracks, no stains. All mirrors fine without ... morebacking spots or cloudiness. It is solid walnut with walnut veneers on the flat parts. The walnut is a warm. Beautiful medium honey color. The marble top makes a very practical surface for serving and general use. There is a key and the lock works. Overall this piece is in very good antique condition with the usual amount of nicks and scratches in the woodwork from 100+ years of gentle use. Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Style Marble Top Walnut Sideboard/ Buffet Beautiful Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Style Walnut Sideboard Marble Top Circa: 1850-1880 Measures approx. 55" tall. 60" wide and 18" Front to Back. There are lots of gorgeous carvings on this piece of furniture. You can zoom in on the pictures to view these closer. The carving at the very top middle has a little chipped piece. I included a picture of this. It is on the top left of this carving. The top of the sideboard is covered with a slab of marble. The marble is in very good co ndition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. This slab of marble can be removed to move or transport the sideboard. If you are looking at the sideboard from the front. The piece that is located at the very back left side of the marble is missing a small piece of ... moremolding on the side. I included a picture of this as well. There is a door in the front that opens up to a compartment that includes 2 shelves. On the backside of the door.The top piece of the molding that holds the center wood piece of the door is missing. You can see this in one of the pictures that I provided. There is a lock located on the door. I do not have the key that fits this. The drawer located at the top of the door still opens and shuts very good. The door is dovetail construction. There are 3 shelves located on both sides of the door. Some of the shelves do have a little discoloration. But the wood is smooth and does not look like it has been wet at anytime. Please view the pictures for more on this. I cannot find any makers marks anywhere on the sideboard. I did however. Have an appraiser research it and here are the remarks that I received from that: Your piece is Victorian and in the Renaissance Revival style which was popular 1850-1880. Furniture in this style ranged from works made in shops employing skilled craftsmen to the products of large Midwestern factories. The New York shops.
