The art decor on the front of this unit appears to be in amazing condition with may some very minor scratches but Nothing major on the face that I can see! The top of this unit has some scratching on it as well as a water ring and a couple small areas where it looks as if a darker stain or paint was spilled on this unit after it was refinished. The top also has some patches of fading in the stain as well, also there is a couple screw holes where it appears that someone screwed the mirror to the dresser but these are small holes and seem like the will be easy to patch and smooth over(PLEASE view the images for condition verification as these are of the EXACT unit that you will receive) but it appears that this can be sanded and redone and look 100% again! This unit has some scuffing on the back of the unit as well but this unit is very rare and it is ready to go immediately! All of the drawers are functional and in good condition! There are a good amount of light ... moresurface scratches to the finish, as well as water rings and some staining on the finish. The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

Comprised of rosewood and rosewood veneer over real wood(no mdf) The piece features two sliding doors that open to reveal a divided interior storage space with a single adjustable height shelf on the right side and three height adjustable slide out drawers on the left. This is one of the later examples(late 1960s) with the drawers being in white plastic(all original and one flocked along its interior bottom) The shelf and drawers have 7 height adjustments(2 3/8" increments) or can be removed all together, so you have many size options for your storage. Cool circular teak pull handles are integrated into the doors themselves and the credenza is finished off with solid turned legs. Legs will remove for more compact shipping. measurements Overall 33 3/4" wide by 17 7/8" deep by 29 5/8" high. Right Interior side has an overall space of just under 22" wide by 16 3/8" deep by 18 1/4" high. Stunning antique oak French Provincial style buffet. This generously sized piece has plenty of storage space and two shelves that could be used for serving. The fronts of the two main doors are carved with a motif of ribbons and musical instruments and there are simple flowers adorning the valanced and scrolled skirt. Panelled doors. Sides and back. Drawer pulls and other hardware look like antiqued brass. Each of the narrow side cabinets have two shelves that come with them, but are not currently installed. The back of the lower shelf has been covered in a white textured paper that is very pretty, but likely not original to the piece. Unsure of the buffet's exct age, but believe it to date from the late 1800's. Overall. This piece is in very good condition. The measurements of this lovely piece are: 92" 1/2 in length + 26" 1/4 in width + 38" 1/4 in height. The are a total of four doors. Two in the center and one on each side of the center. The marble is an amazing Italian purple vein& ivory color. the marble has had some minor crack restorations but it is in excellent shape. It has a panelled door in the centre which has intricate inlaid decoration. |. |. Antique Serpentine Boulle Cabinet Credenza c.1870, This is an important antique. Victorian, ebonised, ormolu mounted. And red Boulle marquetry serpentine credenza. Circa 1870 in date. It is beautifully inlaid in cut brass with a jester in the centre of the panel in the central door. In addition there is scrolling acanthus foliage with flowers and honeysuckle. It is further adorned with a plethora of fabulous ormolu mounts. The central cupboard door. With raised oval panel, enclose a red velvet lined interior with a shelf, and is flanked by two serpentine glass doors with shelv es. antique vtg 1870's large credenza/buffet fruit inlay Victorian French AMAZING Fantastic Credenza or Dressing table circa 1870's with incredible fruit wood inlay with an unbelievable large bow front mirror. This was an inherited piece and I am planning a cross country move in which I am afraid of damaging it. I do have an appraisal done in 2007 for 4000.00. I had purchased some other pieces from a Orlando dealer and he was so taken with this piece and concerned that I had not insured it that without my asking about a week later this appraisal showed up in the mail. I think he mentioned French in origin. Everyone who sees the piece is in awe and I am sure that the photos dont come near capturing how impressive it is. The only area of concern is where someone must of locked themselves out and pried it open an easy fix and an easy match ... moreif it bothers you as it never really bugged me. The mirror shows it's age with some cloudiness seen in photographs but the flash photography made it look much worse in the pictures than in-person. The inside front opens to 3 drawers while the top has a main drawer with unique compartments and two half moon side drawers. Local pickup only. Having just been restored by my very experienced restorer(50 years) it is consequently in excellent condition and is ready for immediate use in the home or for retailing in a prestigious showroom or fair. Please note we have not re-lined this cabinet, but we could arrange this in your own cloth should you wish. The second thing that strikes you about this cabinet is the colour and patination. The cabinetmaker that made this cabinet chose some very good quality timbers for the job. This has resulted all these years later in a cabinet with a gorgeous soft rich warm colour and patination that can only be attained by walnut of this age and quality. Thirdly are the proportions. The design of this cabinet is just right and the cabinet benefits from having a good balance.
