The drawers. Columns, the edges, are carved with fruits and nuts and the spectacular ever so classic carved dolphins on the bottom base of this incredible cabinet. This cabinet has four doors with storage that have one shelf each. Two of these doors are hidden behind the columns on each side of the cabinet. This cabinet has three pull out drawers. One is a larger drawer with two smaller drawers on each side. This cabinet has a backsplash that attaches seperatly to the lower cabinet. The primary wood of this cabinet is walnut with the secondary wood being pine. This cabinet measures 77 1/2" in length or width, 65" in height, and 47 1/2" in height to the top surface of the cabinet, 33 1/2" in depth from the wall. Condition Overall condition of this spectacular Italian cabinet is excellent used. Great patina or finish on the cabinet. On the top surface of the cabinet there is shrinkage. The ... moretop crest is a carving of a mother with leaf carving all the way across, each post has Jenny Lind end, claw feet on the bottom of the posts and cupids carrying fruit and berries on the base. The carvings themselves are an art statement that would likely cost more than the entire sideboard. This is a great collectible piece of oak. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 25 inches deep, 39 inches high to the base and 86 inches high overall. The mirror glass size is 39 inches wide by 17 inches high. The mirror shows silver loss which adds charm and character. It has the original hardware. The knobs on the left-hand drawer has spacers instead of a washer, but it works. It has all the escutcheons.

Measurements are as follows: 84"W x ... more69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I mentioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. It has a great crest on it. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 39 inches high to the marble and 96 inches high to the top. The door compartments are divided with a shelf on each side. There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. There are a few pieces of molding missing that aren’t anything major, but I wanted to mention it. Other than three or four little sections with the molding issues, it is in really nice condition.

Outstanding! Beautifully Carved, Quarter Sawn Oak, RJ Horner Sideboard Must See!
Beautiful. Heavily flaked quarter sawn oak sideboard in the manner of RJ Horner. Pics tell most of the story. Measurements are as follows: 84"W x 69"T X 24"D. Weight: approx. 150-200lbs. There are a couple of small trim pieces where the backsplash meets the base that are missing, a couple that are loose. The top section of the backsplash has seperated and a couple small pieces of carved trimwork are missing as a result(can be seen in the pics) There is a small a chip on the front left edge of the table surface. One of the locks is missing from one of the doors and there is a stain on the top that can be clearly seen in the photo. Im sure there are other bumps/bruises but nothing glaring. All that having been said, this piece is really stunning in person and all of the condition issues are fairly simple repairs. The flaws I ... morementioned are only noticed upon close scrutiny and have never been pointed out to me by anyone who has seen it in person. Original finish is in good shape, just as it appears in the photos. The color, in person, is probably somewhere between the lightest and darkest photos. The carving on this piece is AWESOME! The quartersawn grain is heavy and pronounced. Bought this piece and the matching server, which I will be listing soon) to restore but I am out of time/space. I feel I have a reasonable opening bid on this piece but if it does not sell, I will restore it and the price will go up considerably. Personally, im kinda getting burned out on the figurals and winged griffins that usually adorn pieces of this quality so its nice to see a great piece without that typical subject matter. Offered here is a gorgeous Antique French Carved Walnut Buffet circa 1880. This piece features the crest with Northwind mask. Then upper cabinet with foliate carved panels and display shelf raised on baluster form supports over a three drawer, three door base cabinet similarly relief carved with fruit filled urns and foliate panels. This beautiful buffet measures 110" high x 76" wide x 23" deep and would be the focal piece of any room. The piece is in very nice condition, but it does have a few flaws expected in a piece its age. There are a few trim pieces missing, along with a couple of splits in the wood, none of which are very noticeable for important and do not distract from the piece in any way. Being offered for sale is this exquisite Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut and Feathered Burl Walnut Sideboard/ Buffet with beautiful carvings and lovely grape and leaf drawer pulls circa 1875. The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful! This piece measures a total height of 87 inches to the top of the crest. Total width of 54 1/2 inches, height from the floor to the top of the base measures 43 1/4 inches,total depth of the base is 26 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 160 lbs and does dis-assemble into two pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The Lovely display shelf measures 43 1/2 inches wide,12 inches deep and is 12 inches from the base portion. The key provided just aids in opening the doors.The locks are there but do not work. There is a small piece of veneer missing at the middle ... moreportion between the doors about the size of a half-dollar, and the top does have some usage and character marks(some scrtaches and circle marks) which I have tried to capture in the pictures, nothing major in my opinion but there. This mid 19th century sideboard has all the wonderful craftsmanship one expects from 19th century pieces and this one is positively beautiful. This sideboard measures 58 inches tall from the floor to the top of the sides of the chimney back-splash. 48 inches in height to the top of the front,62 1/2 inches wide and 25 3/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 200 lbs. All of the locks are intact on this piece but the key provided just aids in opening the doors at the base. Breathtaking huge Austrian ornately carved solid oak sideboard buffet cupboard
This once-in-a- lifetime piece has been lovingly cared for all of its' life-125 years-and its' condition shows it. The original finish glows and the gleaming brass handles. Hinges and locks accentuate the magnificent hand carving-people, gargoyles, leaves, acanthus, practically a catalogue of the woodcarver's Art. We have owned it for almost 40 years and it is a treasured part of our household. But, time moves on and we are down-sizing. We were told. When we were living in Germany, that during the wars, pieces like this were wrapped in oilcloth and buried out on the grounds to protect them. They certainly weren't in any danger of being carried off! The measurements of this piece are: 10 8 inches(9' tall by 8 2 inches wide by 3 2 inches deep. It needs at least 10 foot ceilings and a nine foot wide wall to look right. But-oooohhh ... morethe storage! There are four. 26 inch deep drawers for silver, placemats, candles and tablecloths. Four cupboards, down below, hold all your china, platters, bowls and vases. Up above, the two-door cupboard holds crystal and glassware and the open shelves show off your collections. The gargoyle, up on top, points out the carving that identifies it as having been built in 1888. This piece, all together, weighs about 1200 pounds-but it comes apart in four pieces-the bottom buffet, the beautiful, perfectly preserved black flecked marble, the upper cupboard and the gargoyle's box pediment, up on top. Exquisite antique hand carved English hutch / dresser / buffet / sideboard oval
INCREDIBLE hand carved English hutch/buffet/sideboard just waiting for that perfect spot in your home. Made entirely of beautiful dark wood. This piece has been meticulously carved by hand, and no opportunity for adding elegance has been missed. Includes all original hardware and mirror. This sideboard separates into two pieces in case you only want to use the buffet portion on the bottom. The sides of the hutch include intricately carved finials and small"shelves" for displaying your favorite small items(I used antique perfume bottles) and small painted plates. There is a small crack along the left side of the buffet close to where it meets the hutch, which I assume is due to its travel from England. Two carved doors on bottom open to reveal a spacious interior with original shelf, and two drawers open smoothly to store smaller ... moreitems. Right side of cabinet tends to come open if not locked, but a regular basic skeleton key keeps it closed easily. I have used this piece as a dresser in my guest bedroom, and I have regularly gotten offers to purchase it. We are moving downtown and will not have room for it in our new home. 1880 French Renaissance Louis XV. Profusely Carved Quarter-Oak Sideboard/Buffet. It has a very decorative pierced gallery with finials on each end. The top center has a heavily carved crown. The Sideboard/Buffet is made in three main sections. The base with two drawers and two doors with one interior. Removable shelf measures: 55" wide x 21 1/2" deep x 39" tall. The next section supports the top section with two columns and provides a decorative pierced plate rail. It measures: 16" tall x 12" deep. The plate rail is 4" deep with a 2" opening for plates. The third(top section) measures: 51" wide x 41" tall x 13 1/2" deep. It has 3 profusely carved doors. The center door appears to have been carved from one piece of wood and represents a man on a horse with a trumpet chasing a deer. This is a gorgeous 19th Century Ebony and Walnut Cabinet/ Sideboard which was made for the Great Exhibition. The four Gilt Romayne panels are metal which is most unusual. The sideboard has lots of attractive features such as the wonderful carvings on the paneled doors. The top section has 3 richly carved doors with double fluted columns. There are some impressive carvings of fruit. Nuts, flowers, oak leaves and urns. All these motives and columns remind the neo classical style and the influence of the Greek art. The middle section has also some carvings of oak leaves. 2 large pilars each side and a plate rack at the back. The base section has also 2 richly carved paneled doors and 2 drawers. There are also some nice frieze running round the paneled doors and on the drawers as well. The drawers have their original handles. The base has also elegant columns each side. ANTIQUE 1870's VICTORIAN RENAISSANCE CARVED MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP SIDEBOARD w/ MIRROR The base is mahogany veneers with solid mahogany carvings. The upper piece above the marble is solid mahogany. There are areas of missing and damaged veneer on the base. The drawer pulls are not original. And the drawer locks have been removed. One of the pads(back left) the base rests on is missing. The spindle detail on the left side of the base under the marble is missing. There is some silver loss to the mirrors. The marble has some staining and a few scratches that don't detract from the piece. The dimensions are 46" wide x 21" deep x 74" tall overall and 39" tall to the top of the marble. Very large antique buffet/sideboard with carved fruit. The dimensions are about 88" high x 61" wide x 22" deep. There are three drawers and three doors with locks and key, all work fine. I believe the wood is oak, and there is some tiger striping as can be seen in the pictures. It's in good shape for it's age, there is some chipping of the veneer at the bottom and the marble is chipped on each end and there is a crack toward the center(you can see this in the pictures) Local pickup only.

Beautiful American Antique New York 1800s R J Horner Carved Oak Sideboard Base
Here is an absolutely fabulous 19th century RJ HORNER New York USA made sideboard buffet base. You can see three small holes on top at the back where a mirrored top was probably attached. I bought this as a base only and had it refinished over 30 years ago-it was a dark mess and the wood grain wasn't visible otherwise I would have left it original. I wanted to see the glorious oak grain and everyone that has seen it over the decades has mentioned what an awesome piece it is. The carving is magnificent-hairy feet. Faces, shells, florals-fantastic quality. The drawers in the center are still there and usable, though could probably use some TLC to get them back to their best-there is a small chip in a corner and chain that holds it open needs some work. There are a couple of minor scuffs-one on top and one on lower side-captured in photos, ... moreand a couple of scratches on the top-tried to photograph. The bottom drawer sticks out-since last move 25 years ago. The nose of a center face has been flattened somewhat-again-with last move. One handle on left drawer is not rounded-may have had a piece off-has been that way since I bought it over 30 years ago. There is some minor denting around key locks-no key available. There may be another flaw,but I don't see them-but again this beauty is way over 100 years old. The back is fully intact-solid. Weighs a ton-built to last forever. It comes from a household filled with many Country/Shaker/ Mission/ Primitive AUTHENTIC antiques. It is beautifully hand carved with spindle legs adding warmth and usefulness to any home. We are not experts. And after much research we are still not certain if it is from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is NOT a reproduction. It has a solid Primitive Americana look and feel. It seems to be either Jacobean or Tudor in style. There are some numbers stamped on the back. Some finishing nails and flathead screws were used in it's construction. The drawer is held together by dovetail grooves. See photos) There is some wear. But there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration. GORGEOUS CARVED VICTORIAN SOLID OAK BUFFET/SIDEBOARD/SERVER W/ MIRROR
You are bidding on a beautiful solid oak sideboard/buffet/server that has no makers mark(that I can find) But which is typical of the American Victorian age- late 1800s. Lots of fancy scroll work; large beveled mirror in very good condition; columns with candle holders on each side of the mirror; two drawers with fancy silvertone knobs, handles and key locks; large double doored section at the bottom for storage. Italian Renaissance Carved Lion Paw 1890's Signed Sideboard Cabinet. A magnificent Renaissance design sideboard cabinet was carved in the 1890's for a palazzo in northern Italy. And signed"Pietro Portalupi, Torino, Turin in English. Solid walnut was artistically handcarved with lion paws. Faces, fruits, classical motifs, deep moldings and grill work. The deep rich finish is in excellent condition with warm patina and a few losses at the edges for antique character. Drawers have carved knobs and solid oak sides with hand cut dovetail joinery on this historic heirloom furniture. One original key operates all door locks, some of the replacement keys are handles only, they do not work all the locks. The upper section is a separate piece for easier moving.
