Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! Local pick up preferred but we will work with your shipper or we can get you a quote from a company we use. Coast to coast is probably around $400 to $500 dollars. Non smoking home. The bottom part was lost through the centuries and the top was raised on bun feet and rounded apron was added to the bottom. This transformation took place a while ago and the wood shows some aging and doesn’t stand out. Two doors open wide. Revealing the interior, which is about 52” from side to side ... moreand 13” deep and 52” tall. We have added two 1 ½” thick heavy duty pine shelves. Which are completely adjustable and will hold a lot of weight. The shelves were aged to look old and will not stand out. The front doors are covered with gathered French country style fabric. Which can be removed so that you can see the interior through the glass. The lock is in working condition, complete with the key. The bibliotheque measures about 59” at the widest point and about 20 ¾” deep. It stands up about 63 ½” tall and the top surface can be used as a shelf. Displaying collectable items. Very heavy. Solid and well built item. The primer material is oak. However, secondary woods was also used on the sides and the back, which is common for 18th Century furniture. We were using it in our office for files and fabric samplers and it is hard to find a bookcase which will fit oversized files and provide such great access as this item does. There are some impressive carvings of fruit. Nuts, flowers, oak leaves and urns. All these motives and columns remind the neo classical style and the influence of the Greek art. The middle section has also some carvings of oak leaves. 2 large pilars each side and a plate rack at the back. The base section has also 2 richly carved paneled doors and 2 drawers. There are also some nice frieze running round the paneled doors and on the drawers as well. The drawers have their original handles. The base has also elegant columns each side. The Buffet stands on bun feet. The buffet has its original handles. Key escutcheons and original key. This buffet is a top quality Antique. The buffet is in its natural state. Very large antique buffet/sideboard with carved fruit. The dimensions are about 88" high x 61" wide x 22" deep. There are three drawers and three doors with locks and key, all work fine. I believe the wood is oak, and there is some tiger striping as can be seen in the pictures. It's in good shape for it's age, there is some chipping of the veneer at the bottom and the marble is chipped on each end and there is a crack toward the center(you can see this in the pictures) Local pickup only.

Solid Wood, Antique, Heavily Carved Buffet / Sideboard / Cabinet
Responses to your questions may be delayed until I return from vacation on Saturday August 11th. At more than 9.5' wide. 6' tall, and 23" deep this massive decorative oak(I think) piece is absolutely amazing to look at. I recently moved from an much larger house and really do not have the room for this any more. This is HEAVILY carved and EXTREMELY decorative. The top section comes off for moving, but the bottom half will require at least 4 men to move it. This piece has 7 locking doors. 4 drawers and 9 beautifully carved unique outdoor scenes. There is one shelf running the length of the top and one behind the doors on the bottom. This truly must be seen to be fully appreciated. I am not sure of the age. But some have estimated 1860's. There are no obvious markings indicating origin or age. Overall the piece is in very very ... moregood condition. There are two areas of damage. On the very top there is a crack and some damage on the underside of the top concealed behind the right pillar. I can email you additional pictures if interested in seeing anything else. Robustly and beautifully constructed in light oak. This substantial piece belies it's age and has a contemporary feel well suited to a grand dining room. Coffee shop, boutique hotel or restaurant. The generous surface sits atop two cupboards and a central drawer. The locking field panel doors are flanked by chamfered pilasters with stop ends and conceal voluminous storage conveniently organised by three drawers of varying sizes in each cupboard. The large central drawer provides additional space for cutlery and sits above a swagged carved arch. Subtly figured. The honey coloured oak is decorated in simple form with wild berry relief carving and repeated arch ... moredetail. Both the field panels and drawer panel are lifted further by use of English burr oak. The balance of geometry and natural form. Along with the break front design, reins in the scale of the piece pleasing the eye without being unnecessarily fussy. ANTIQUE 19c early 20c CARVED MISSION BUFFET SERVER SIDEBOARD CABINET So Calif
AMERICAN PRIMITIVE ANTIQUE BUFFET/SERVER/CABINET This listing is for an Antique Server. It has been in the owner's family for the last sixty years. It comes from a household filled with many Country/Shaker/ Mission/ Primitive AUTHENTIC antiques. It is beautifully hand carved with spindle legs adding warmth and usefulness to any home. We are not experts. And after much research we are still not certain if it is from the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is NOT a reproduction. It has a solid Primitive Americana look and feel. It seems to be either Jacobean or Tudor in style. There are some numbers stamped on the back. Some finishing nails and flathead screws were used in it's construction. The drawer is held together by dovetail grooves. See photos) There is some wear. But there is no evidence of any repairs or restoration. We ... morehave the loosened knob to a cabinet door and it will be included with the item. There are no broken hinges. Both doors open and close beautifully. There is a blemish where a child once painted a face with a magic marker at the top of a back spindle leg. See close-up photo. The server is a deep honey brown in color. In order to bring out blemishes. Some photos were taken in a bright daylight. Most of the photos were taken in different types of light. With two different cameras and on different days. The color may be inconsistent in the photos. But this provides a more informed look at the item. Dimensions: The Server is 37& 1/2" tall at the front. It is 44& 1/2" tall at its back. This includes the splash guard& back spindle leg. It measures 38" wide/across and 16& 7/8" deep from front to back. It has one drawer and it measures 32" wide by 12& 3/4" measured on the inside) We are not antique experts. We have tried to describe this item as best as we could.
