This particular piece has a breakfront where the marble steps out in the middle, carved pillars coming down through the center door, outside doors and right across the top is all burl walnut with dainty inlaid trim. The two doors open on the base to expose a shelf interior. The center is the mirror panel with the pillars and is not a door. You have a double door front and a center with carved pillars. The looking glass is scratched and worn, which adds charm and character. The inlaid appears to be in nice shape.

This is a rare mahogany Victorian sideboard. It has beautiful flame grained mahogany veneers. The top has shapely openwork galleries dovetailed together and graduated spool turned posts ending in delicate finials.The shelves and base are framed with decorative beaded arrow design moldings. The dovetailed drawer has a desk and inkwell cubbies inside.There is an age crack in the desk top(inside the drawer) The cabinet base has the original shelf. This piece is a very desirable and rare diminutive size. The craftsmanship is outstanding.It has a lovely patina. The sideboard shows some minor age appropriate wear including the age cracks in the veneer on the right side of the base. Beautiful Victorian Eastlake walnut sideboard/buffet with marble top. It has 2 drawers and 2 doors. Each drawer has 2 hand carved leaves and nuts wood pulls. One of the pulls has a small chipped edge and screws have been placed through it. Drawers have hand cut dove tails. Each door features recessed oval panels of burl walnut. Drawers and doors have wooden keyhole covers. The marble top has normal wear for age-some stains and small chips-no cracks noted. It has a carved fox head on top and griffin head pulls. It measures about 83 1/2 inches tall at the highest point. It measures about 52 inches across x 20 1/4 inches deep. Original finish. Good condition for an untouched 100 year old piece of furniture. Has a spot on the marble that I have never tried to cover or remove. Antique Victorian Burl Walnut Marble Top Server c. 1800's Sideboard Buffet
Gorgeous Victorian era marble top server or sideboard. This beautiful piece has been capped with a gray and white marble top with rounded corners. The server show signs of high-quality construction including a paneled back and sides and sturdy dovetail joint drawers. The two drawers have fluted edges surrounding burl walnut inlay. Pressed brass pulls with a sun-like like design and silver-friendly linings. The lower cabinet has two doors, each with a burl walnut panel framed in a molded edge. The ring shaped pulls and brass escutcheons are made from brass. This piece most likely dates from the late 19th century. No maker's marks. The server is in good antique condition with some small holes in the marble top. See pictured example. The locks have been removed. But are being stored in one of the drawers and could probably be easily reinstalled ... moreby the buyer. Otherwise, there is only light wear commensurate with age and use. Antique Victorian Era / Turn of Century Tiger Oak Sideboard / Buffet
Available for your condsideration is an Antique Victorian Era/ Turn of the Century Sideboard/ Buffet which is made of a Beautiful Tiger Oak Wood. This Antique Tiger Oak Sideboard/ Buffet is in Good Used Condition. I believe the mirror to be newer replacement and not original to the piece. The mirror is in excellent condition with No Chips. Cracks or Scratches to the silvering. In the back of the large single middle drawer in the upper right hand corner/ back piece is a knot hole. Finally, the lower right hand bottom door is stuck and I believe is due to the ball latch being frozen, can probably be easily fixed. No other problems to report and the finish on the entire piece is in very good condition. This Vintage Tiger Oak sideboard measures about 51" in height when including the mirror and 38" high to the top of the buffet. This ... morebuffet measures 42 1/2" wide and 20" deep. Not only does it provide more than ample storage. It also has a unique and eye-catching look that will have your guests asking where you found such an exquisite piece. This sideboard was made sometime around the year ... more1890 in England. The Mahogany wood has a lovely. Deep patina that will continue to grow deeper and more beautiful as it ages. For storage there are three large drawers and two cabinet sections. All drawers open and close easily and were constructed with hand cut dovetailed drawer joints. There are two drop ring brass handles on each drawer. This center section bows out lending the piece a elegant shape. The doors, drawers and back-splash are all constructed in a magnificent flame mahogany. The top of the three drawers is lined with green felt to cushion silverware. The left and right cabinets come equipped with a sturdy shelf for dishware. Both doors lock securely and one key is included. The rope twist carved molding adds an extra dimension of character to this extravagant piece, and all sits atop marvelous ball and claw feet. Being such a heavy and sturdy sideboard this piece has withstood the test of time very well. There are a few minor cosmetic issues to mention. The escutcheon on the left cabinet is missing. Also. In the right cabinet there would have been a lead line drawer for wine bottles that is now missing. It was probably removed on purpose to allow for more storage

For sale here is an excellent condition antique late 1800's tiger oak high end Eastlake lion foot dining room server. This server is very ornate and covered with original oak carvings and details. The material is glowing tiger oak. There are barley twist supports for the mirror shelf. Wonderful stepped levels in the drawers and original pressed brass hardware. Drawers open and close fine. Very elegant design perfect for a high end Victorian or Arts& Crafts dining room. Take a look at all of the pictures. It appears to be all original except it has been refinished at some time. Tel: 01432 357753 Description: This is a magnificent early to mid 19th Century. Early Victorian, antique barley candy twist two drawer three tier buffet, server, sideboard. The buffet stands on solid brass castors rising over which are the turned tapering legs with two frieze drawers with figured rosewood veneers and original turned brass rosette rose design handles. Rising over this are the three tiers each separated by turned barley candy twist faux rosewood turnings with rosewood veneered shelves and friezes and surmounted by a rosewood gallery. The buffet has later fitted castors of similar Victorian design. The drawers have pine linings and pine drawer bottoms and hand-cut dovetail joints. A fine quality ... morepiece of original antique furniture. Date: The buffet dates circa 1840- 1870. Condition: The buffet is in very nice condition for its age. There are one or two old veneer repairs on the corners on the top shelf otherwise the buffet is in very nice condition. The buffet retains much of its original finish. But this has been rejuvenated at some period. This is one spectacular piece of Victorian era Empire Style furniture. All done in great detail, with beautiful shell motiff at the top surrounded by kissing dolphins, and very detailed dolphins on each side holding up the top shelf, and all in fantastic condition from top to bottom! It even has shell carvings on each door at the lower portion. It retains its original patina on the tiger oak, as well as its original pulls and locks and even still has the key! antique vtg 1870's large credenza/buffet fruit inlay Victorian French AMAZING Fantastic Credenza or Dressing table circa 1870's with incredible fruit wood inlay with an unbelievable large bow front mirror. This was an inherited piece and I am planning a cross country move in which I am afraid of damaging it. I do have an appraisal done in 2007 for 4000.00. I had purchased some other pieces from a Orlando dealer and he was so taken with this piece and concerned that I had not insured it that without my asking about a week later this appraisal showed up in the mail. I think he mentioned French in origin. Everyone who sees the piece is in awe and I am sure that the photos dont come near capturing how impressive it is. The only area of concern is where someone must of locked themselves out and pried it open an easy fix and an easy match ... moreif it bothers you as it never really bugged me. The mirror shows it's age with some cloudiness seen in photographs but the flash photography made it look much worse in the pictures than in-person. The inside front opens to 3 drawers while the top has a main drawer with unique compartments and two half moon side drawers. Local pickup only.
