There are some specks of white paint on one side where someone must have splattered paint when painting a wall that I am sure would clean up. There are a few pieces of molding missing that aren’t anything major, but I wanted to mention it. Other than three or four little sections with the molding issues, it is in really nice condition.

Then upper cabinet with foliate carved panels and display shelf raised on baluster form supports over a three drawer, three door base cabinet similarly relief carved with fruit filled urns and foliate panels. This beautiful buffet measures 110" high x 76" wide x 23" deep and would be the focal piece of any room. The piece is in very nice condition, but it does have a few flaws expected in a piece its age. There are a few trim pieces missing, along with a couple of splits in the wood, none of which are very noticeable for important and do not distract from the piece in any way. Being offered for sale is this exquisite Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut and Feathered Burl Walnut Sideboard/ Buffet with beautiful carvings and lovely grape and leaf drawer pulls circa 1875. The details on this 19th century sideboard/ buffet are truly beautiful! This piece measures a total height of 87 inches to the top of the crest. Total width of 54 1/2 inches, height from the floor to the top of the base measures 43 1/4 inches,total depth of the base is 26 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 160 lbs and does dis-assemble into two pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. The Lovely display shelf measures 43 1/2 inches wide,12 inches deep and is 12 inches from the base portion. The key provided just aids in opening the doors.The locks are there but do not work. This mid 19th century sideboard has all the wonderful craftsmanship one expects from 19th century pieces and this one is positively beautiful. This sideboard measures 58 inches tall from the floor to the top of the sides of the chimney back-splash. 48 inches in height to the top of the front,62 1/2 inches wide and 25 3/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 200 lbs. All of the locks are intact on this piece but the key provided just aids in opening the doors at the base. The ogee crest over triple carved doors on a base with two frieze dovetailed drawers over double cupboard doors with floral relief carving, flanked by turned and reeded columns, the whole on bun feet. The unit comes apart in 2 pieces making moving very manageable. Age: Circa 19th Century. France Measurements: 88" H(total height) 56" W, 22" D. By far. One of the nicest pieces of furniture we have had the opportunity to offer. This is a wonderfully carved server or cabinet made of solid walnut. It had 2 drawers above double doors. The interior has a fixed shelf. The columns are full carved and burled. The handles are also carved wood. The condition is excellent. One of the cabinet doors is slightly warped but still works perfectly. The finish is beautiful and the color warm and consistent. In 15 years, this is the first of it's kind that I've had the opportunity to own. This is a true antique. A fine piece of furniture. It would go nicely in any decor. Antique Italian Tuscan Carved Walnut Sideboard Hutch Cabinet Cupboard Paw Feet
This is a very good antique carved walnut Tuscan cabinet. It was purchased in 2003 in Arezzo. Tuscany, from an antiques dealer. It is in very good shape with a nice patina and beautiful wood color. No significant defects(other than the normal wear that one would expect from an old piece of furniture) except a now-fading white water ring on the surface where some thoughtless person(me! put down a plastic bucket of hot water. A little Old English Scratch Cover or perusal of Mr Google or discussion with a knowledgeable antiques dealer will probably result in advice on how to remove this easily. I just never took the time to do so. DESCRIPTION OF SECTIONS: There are three sections that come apart for easy moving. 1) The upper section has three doors with carved helmeted. Bearded men(Romans? on the two outer doors, each facing in towards the middle ... moredoor where a shield/crest is carved. The outer doors are flanked by carved acanthus leaves. The doors are separated by carved columns with carved capitels. All topped by a heavily carved pediment. Inside is one shelf running the width of the piece. Creating two shelves for storing linens, glassware, clothing, whatever. 2) The middle section is composed of two square columns and a simple back piece. Separated into three, framed sections corresponding in width to the doors above. 3) The lower section has three drawers and three doors. As above. The outer doors are flanked by carved acanthus leaves, but these are topped with carved heads. The three doors are decorated with carved swirling leaves and a shield. All of this is on carved paw feet. This breaks down into several parts: The top third The back piece Two columns which. This is a beautiful. Solid walnut side board from France made in circa 1865. It stands 8' tall, 54 inches wide, the bottom is 23 inches deep and the top is 16 inches deep. It breaks down into 5 pieces for moving. The original round"feet" are still with it making it 8' 3" tall. Even the supports inside are made of Walnut. 18th Century Hand Carved Walnut Continental Breakfront SideBoard
This majestic royal breakfront was purchased in the 1960's and had been in the same household since then. It has only been moved 3 times in 50-54 years. It was purchased from an antique dealer on the central California coast near Hearst castle. It is finely carved and the only similar carved furniture I have seen like it are in the Vatican Museum and the Academia museum in Venice Italy. This is a two piece breakfront. 2-3 men can lift it. The carving is finer than 19th century carving so I am leaning towards 18th century or earlier. The scene depicted is a finely carved King. Queen and their court. The carvings on the bottom on the doors are monks. This is the only one in the world. The King and court and the Monks heads on the bottom tell me that this may have been carved for a royal household or for the church. William Hurst brought ... morea lot of fine antiques over from Europe in the 1920's. It is possible a few were sold that he was displeased with. To have a piece like this in the USA is unusual because of the Royal theme and the quality of the carving. This is a local pickup only. The measurement are: Width 84" Depth 21 1/2" Height 93" The drawers have been lined for sterling service and the shelves lined also for china and crystal services. The Piece is all original including the ornate brass drawer pulls. The Sideboard has burled walnut panels and a beveled edged top over two frieze drawers. Central bank of 3 drawers and flanked by carved panelled cupboard drawers. All the drawers are dovetailed. The Sideboard is in excellent condition for age. Antique Carved Solid Walnut China Closet Breakfront Sideboard - Circa 1850
Absolutely stunning solid walnut carved china closet. I have owned this piece for the last 38 years. Sadly. It is time to downsize and this piece simply cannot come with me. It originally came out of an old estate in Beloit, Wisconsin. It has no real finish on it. I have kept the wood oiled and natural. The glass is all original to the piece. The corners are hand blown round glass that fit perfectly into the scrolling. Everyone who ever came into my home admired it-a piece of art really. Overall. It measures 8'10" tall x 5' 6" wide. The bottom piece is 43.25" tall x 66.25" wide x 23" deep. The top is 62" tall x 65.5" wide x 17.5" deep. I measured from the widest parts(trim pieces included) I have all the original keys, but some of the locks no longer function as they should. It comes apart into ... more2 pieces for moving, but each piece is still very heavy. I would describe this piece as being in very good to excellent vintage condition. Up for auction could be the bar backs of bar backs. This is a very high end carved Victorian Griffin/ Gargoyle Server sideboard mirror frame. This beautiful piece is a massive 64" long x 24" tall x 12" deep and would make one home brewer quite the bar back Frame is all white oak and is a mixture of quarter-sawn. Griffins alone are 20" tall x 10' deep x 3.5" thick and are solid Quarter-sawn Oak. The gargoyles are in very nice shape. With great detail and creative faces. Teeth are very sharp, just like they were in the 1880-1890's when this piece was carved.
