The Iconic Herman Miller Wooden Lounge Chair Designed by Charles Eames Manufactured by the Evans Company and Distributed by Herman Miller This has the highly sought after early Evans Label and 5- 2-5 bolt pattern. I'm dating this chair to 1948 due to the label. Bolt pattern and story from the owner. This chair was purchased by her parents around 1950. She even showed me photos of her as a little girl sitting in the chair. Also here is more info regarding this chair Structurally this chair is sound and still very comfortable. The wear is consistent with the age of this chair. One notable wear spot is under the seat at the front; there is a chip. I've included a couple photos of this. Also. The feet have not been used and the chrome is nice with no pitting or rust. They measure 3/4 inch tall and the chrome foot is 7/8 inch in diameter. The toothed disk that fits into your chair or table leg to hold the foot on is 3/4 inches in diameter. The teeth on the disk will flex some so the foot will fit a slightly smaller diameter opening on your chair/table leg if needed. You can also bend the teeth out somewhat if your chair leg diameter is close to 3/4 inches. The foot will not work on a chair or table leg with a female opening larger than 3/4 inches. These are a great pair of vintage Herman Miller Chairs. They are in good solid condition. They do have some scrapes and scratches as you can see in the pictures. But no major damage. The one with black legs is slightly shorter, maybe 1/8 in. These chairs have been kept inside. I only took them out long enough to take pictures. Distinctive. Mid-century, Hollywood Regency, gold iridescent vinyl upholstered side chairs. Low to the ground, with high, tear drop chair backs, and nail-head trim around the seat bottoms. Their wooden legs are enhanced with decorative gold banding. The vinyl is in wonderful condition, with some slight spotting that can only be seen if looking for it, one minute pin hole in one of the seats, and one minute tear to the top back side of the other. Spring seats with stuffing, one with a tear to the underside fabric covering the springs and stuffing. A few nicks and dings to the legs, which are only noticeable upon close inspection. These chairs are simply dazzling. Child's wooden rocking chair or child's stuffed animal chair It measures 13 1/4" wide from arm to arm. The seat is 10" in depth. The rockers are 15 1/2" long. The seat is 7 7/8" tall, and the back of the c hair is 17 3/4" tall. This is an older piece that ha s wear.
