Along the same lines as Hans Wegner's"Cigar" chair design for Getema, these beauties were also made in Denmark in the 1950s and just as well made. Unlike so many of chairs in this style that appear on Ebay. These are not a combo of woods or a generic hardwood stained to look like teak. They are each 100% SOLID TEAK throughout(sides, seat, arms and back) with removable upholstered seat and back cushions. Great looking from any viewing angle and they provide excellent comfort. Cushions are the original heavy inner spring design, so no fear of them loosing their shape verses just foam. Upholstery is a wonderful neutral oatmeal color woven wool, so will match in any color scheme decor. Seat backs will remove so each chair can ship in its own box via UPS oversize. measurements Overall each chair measures 31.5" high by 25" wide by 29" deep. The seat cushion is 20" wide by 4" high by 21" deep. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat is about 17" high at the front tapering back to 14.5" at the rear. condition Excellent with just light age and a handful of very minor soil marks on the cushions. They are hard to see and in no way warrant needing to be redone as the fabric is in overall excellent shape. Straps looks to have been replaced at some point. Vintage Mid Century Danish Modern Highback Lounge Chair SL Mobler Black Teak
This is a vintage teak and black vinyl Soren Ladefoged danish modern reclining lounge chair. Similar to some of the lounge chairs made by folke ohlsson of DUX. This high back lounge chair is designed and manufactured with the same eye for style, function, and minimalistic construction that other top danish designers such as Hans Olsen, Hans Wegner, and Arne Jacobsen are known for. A beautiful chair, and even nicer to have it in such great condition! The dimensions are approx: 40.5" tall. 27" wide, and 35" deep. The teak frame is very sturdy. It has a couple of very minor scuffs, but no breaks, repairs, cracks, no loose joints, etc. The black vinyl is nearly in excellent condition, as is the upholstery padding. They had quite a collection of items and this was one of their favorites. The frames on both the chair and stool are in original condition and have only had a mild cleaning. The upholstery foam had started to break down which was unfortunate because the fabric was in excellent condition. I had them recovered in a vintage woven fabric that was perfect for the pair. Vintage 1950's Danish Modern Teak Lounge Chair Mid Century Sculpted Legs Juhl
This is a gorgeous circa 1950's teak lounge chair with dark finish and sculpted legs. Measures 26" wide. 30" deep, 31" high at the back and 13" high at the front of the seat. It is in excellent lightly used condition with no breaks or cracks. There is some scratches on one of the arms and some chipping at the end of one of the legs, see close up. The upholstered cushions are included but they have wear and pilling of the fabric on the zipper covers from use and could use re-upholstering. Pick up or I can help arrange courier delivery. Vintage Danish Modern Teak High Back Lounge Armchair Chair Navy Blue Mid Century
This is a stylish danish modern lounge chair. With navy blue upholstery, and a teak frame. It's in excellent condition overall! I believe the upholstery and foam are new. As it is very soft and comfortable to sit in, and the frame too is in good condition. It has a slight patina to it, and is quite solid. One of the side bolts in the frame is not original, but the chair doesn't have any breaks, structural cracks, previously broken and repaired parts. Etc.
