I believe it is solid maple with an Old Pine ... morefinish and probably dates to the 1950s/60s. It has bamboo style turned legs with a barrel shaped midsection and an overall colonial style. Nichols & Stone began making furniture in the 1850s and finally closed up shop around 2008. They have since been reincarnated under the Stickley name and are available again in some limited forms.
