TWO Vintage Herman Miller Eames Fiberglass Shell Chairs- GREY Up for auction is two Vintage Herman Miller Side Shell Chairs- Grey in Color; IN FAIR CONDITION These chairs were from an estate. They are scratched. Faded/water marks? have scratches, scuffs and a couple peel marks? They appear to have had sat outside for a period of time but not sure how long. And the edges are worn and has one ding mark on the back side edge(see picture) it doesn't go all the way through the edge it is only one sided. One chair has some spots on the back and bottom of the chair. There are four shock mounts on each chair, but only three screws/bolts per chair so one chair is missing one bolt; the screw/bolts are somewhat rusty as well. One chairs mounts are also missing part of the rubber/glue that holds the mount on if you zoom in on the pictures you can ... moresee it. Please review pictures as they are a part of this description and so you can see more of the condition in your own detail. I haven't seen any cracks or chips, just wear along the edges and scratches on the chairs. There are no labels on the bottoms of these chairs only the embossed markings. I have combined those markings into one picture. The marking with the circled star-like is on the bottom of the one with the spots on it, the one with the circled"S" is on the bottom of the other one. These are good sturdy chairs and with a little TLC can become great chairs once again. Nice fibers and fair color- there is fading(water marks) on the seats of both chairs, just need to be cleaned up a bit and a little reconditioning is all. THIS AUCTION DOES NOT INCLUDE THE BASES! PAIR ANTIQUE FRENCH COUNTRY CARVED SHELL MOTIF RUSH BOTTOM ARM CHAIRS
Here is a fabulous pair of early to mid-twentieth century French country arm chairs with rush bottom seats. Cabriole legs, carved feet and beautifully carved across the front of the seat as well as the backrest with a shell and flower motif as shown. These two chairs are in very nice condition for their age as represented with multiple pictures. The chairs are both tight and sturdy with strong, tight rush bottom seats that were probably replaced in the latter 20th century. The chairs each stand 38 inches tall to the top of the back and measure 21 1/2 inches wide by 22 inches front to back. The seats are 15 inches in height and are 20 1/2 inches wide by 18 1/2 inches, front to back. The back rest and across front of the seats on the chairs are beautifully carved and appear to have hand turned stretchers. These chairs appear to be made of walnut, ... morewith rush bottom seats. None of the chairs have any chips, cracks, significant edge wear or holes. This is a set of 3 vintage 60's or 70's elephant gray Herman Miller Eames side shell chairs. Shells only. These are in good used condition. Light scratches and scuffs in spots but these will clean up well. No chips or cracks. One shell is missing a shock mount and some of the mounts need to be replaced. They are mounted in the wide position and will only fit a wide stacker base. New mounts can be repositioned in the narrow position to fit all other bases. Nice set. Just need a little TLC. Please note the color is most accurately portrayed in the photos of the underside of the chairs. Its a medium tan. A few marks from markers or such on the underside and general wear and tear. But in good condition. The chrome is in good shape, showing only a few rust spots, mainly on the underside. Note the copper accents just above the feet on the legs. There appears to have been some repairs to a few welds and possibly to the rubber mounts. I don't know for certain, but I'd rather suggest the possibility than disappoint. The fibers can be seen, but can't be felt. A few light spots I'm guessing from cleaning. The shells and legs will ship in separate boxes to avoid upcharges for ... moresize.

This is a pair of extremely rare mid century modern atomic era Salterini iron lounge chairs with attached cocktail tables designed by maurizio tempestini. They are pretty much 1 owner chairs. And were from the estate of a hilltop mansion in Bel Air, an affluent neighborhood that borders Beverly Hills in Southern California. They are powder coated white. Original finish. The iron has just a few links that have become damaged near the base of the backrest of the chairs(see closeup of pics for details) But are otherwise in excellent condition. Very comfortable, and the teardrop table makes for the perfect cocktail or drink holder. The dimensions are approx: 24.5" deep. 32" across, 31.5" tall, and seat is approx 12" high. I have about 700 items listed and more on the way. This is a nice set of chairs marked Herman Miller on the bottom. these are in good overall shape but have wear and tear from normal use. I showed a couple of close up pics. One plastic foot ring is missing but the main plastic part is still there and those are easy to find and replace anyway.
