For sale is a pair of vintage burnt-orange leather tufted club/lounge/library chairs with a shared ottoman. These chairs are in excellent condition. Especially for their age. The leather has been protected and under the seat cushions there was a cushion protector so that whoever sat on the chair, the top cushion would not sink in. They have been beautifully preserved. Legs are wood with rolling casters. There are a couple of very small scratches or slight tear(pin point hole) in the back. You would not notice unless it was specifically pointed out. For sale are a set of four Mid-Century Blue Club Chairs. In all of my collecting. I never came across a set like these. If you were to think"Hmmm, Blue leather club chairs" without seeing them first, you might second guess hearing the idea, but when you see these chairs(especially in person) you can't help but be impressed. It's a wonderful mix of form, function, pizzazz and daring design. These would blow away any client finding them in your waiting room, meeting room or office. If anyone can show me photos of similar chairs, I would be grateful. Included is a red Ottoman. It is in decent shape but not as good as the chairs. In the interest of full disclosure please examine the photos carefully. The ottoman has some light white paint overspray on one corner. On the other corner it has a small(1/4 inch) tear. With some Goo-Be-Gone ... moreor other paint remover. I'm relatively certain the paint will come off, as well as the glue residue from the tape I removed which covered the small puncture/tear. The chairs are not perfect, but they are very clean. there are no tears, and I believe the bottoms were recently replace. Not sure of the maker. Could not identify any manufacturer.
