The seat cushion is shot and needs to be replaced. One of the wooden legs was repaired where it attaches to the lumber frame underneath- the chair is sound structurally. For your consideration is a Beautiful Vintage Harvey Probber Flat Bar Aluminum Club Chair! It is exactly as shown. Likely with original upholstery as you can see, and stunning style to it! It has no tags indicating maker, but does have a Union Made label on the very bottom that I will add a picture of shortly, proving it to be a 1950's piece. Upholstery is overall nice and clean, with no rips or tears, but does have some wear, particularly on the arms. The aluminum could benefit from a polishing to get it back to it's mirror finish, but isn't gouged up or damaged beyond normal surface scratches and signs of wear throughout the decades. Vintage Mid Century Modern Eames KROEHLER Sitting Room Slipper Side Club Chair
Vintage Mid Century Modern Retro Eames Era KROEHLER Sitting Room Slipper Side Lounge Club Chair I believe it is from the 1950's. But could possibly be late 1940's or early 1960's. I have had this chair for some time now. And I absolutely love it! I really hate to see it go! After merging 2 households, we have too much furniture, and it just does not fit with the rest of our decor. This Vintage Mid Century Modern Kroehler Chair is all original. It still has the original fabric and all of the parts are original. The fabric does have some worn spots and a portion of of the seat fabric is worn(you can see the difference in the fabric where it has worn on the seat in photo#3) You may choose to have it recovered. But it would not be absolutely necessary, I can tell when I sit on the chair seat I can feel that the springs have aged.at ... moreleast one of the springs has"sprung" and is just not quite right. However, when examining the springs from the bottom of the chair, the springs all appear to be just fine. But you can clearly feel something that is not quite right when sitting on the seat. Again, not a major problem, the chair is fine as it is functional, sturdy and very comfortable. It doesn't need to be fixed right away, but I'm guessing it will need to be fixed at some point. It also has the original blonde wood legs, which are very sturdy and have no structural issues(no cracks or breaks) It still has it's original aluminum KROEHLER name plate on the bottom(photos 8& 9) the original factory tag, which reads, CHAIR 10-01279" photo 10) and writing on the underside from the factory(photo 11) The bottom of the chair has a piece of burlap separating the chair seat and the springs(photo 12) The burlap is a true testament to it's age! Measurements(please note that the measurements below are accurate to the best of my ability) Overall Height: 30.5" Tall Chair Back Width: 20" Seat Height: 15" Tall at the edge of the seat. 15-3/4" Tall in the middle of the seat.

Very cool mid century modern cube. Club or lounge chair made by Artistic Furniture Company in Kansas City. Cool lines and overall design. The chair is 31" tall x almost 41" wide x 31" deep. The seat height is 17" and the seat cushion measures 19 1/2" wide x 21: deep. The springs have held up well and I found no collapsed areas. The legs are about 4 1/2" long. I found a few light snags in the material. The label says cotton felt hair spring sisal and rubber cushion. The chair sits well, the seat cushion fells a little crunchy. The black mesh underneath is torn and will need to be replaced. Chair sits flat and is in very good sturdy condition for everyday use. Please view all photos and ask questions before bidding. Vintage Baker Club Lounge Chair Mid Century Modern 1970's Florence Knoll Era
For your consideration is a very fine club or lounge chair by Baker Furniture. Grand Rapids, MI circa 1960's or 1970's. This chair has great lines and is super comfortable. The streamline design looks great from any angle. Super low and deep cube form that fully encompasses your body. The slight curve at the back makes this chair super sexy. Top notch construction makes this chair rock solid and stable. Down filled upholstery makes this chair feel very expensive and makes you feel important! Sits on recessed round feet to give it a floating appearance. Could use a professional cleaning and there is one area on the piping where the fabric has a slight snag but can be easily repaired. Vtg.Mid-Century Modern-Barrel,Club Swivel Chair-Iron&Wood- R.McCarthy,Mccobb Era
This is a super example of a mid-century modern mixed materials chair that's so well suited for many styles of décor. The chair has wonderfully designed wrought iron frame. Wood slat back and wood arms and it swivels around as well. The seat is a great retro colored yellow material which I believe is vinyl. I have spent endless hours trying to research this piece and I believe its designer was Richard McCarthy(but cant be positive) who's designs seem to have association with Paul McCobb. So I know its from the era of McCobb. Please google Richard McCarthy chairs. The chair I believe may have been for a dining set but works well for many applications as a office, or just occasional accent chair. The similar pieces I have found to this say the wood is Ash but I have also seen others stating its oak, but it has great grain to the ... morewood and is extremely sturdy. This chair has had wood refinished in darker tones and it frame has been cleaned up and freshly repainted to its original black. The seat is as well in very nice condition, no rips, holes or tears has a every so small bit of paint right where seat meats frame that really isn't noticeable. The height of seat off floor is 18" The height of wood back off seat at tallest center point is 17" Its overall height from floor to tallest center point on wood back is 32" if you measure across center of round seat it measures 18" across and its widest point across center arm to arm at flair is 23 1/2" Please note that 4 screws hold seat onto base and it will be shipped in two pieces so you will have to put it back together with the 4 screws. Note which screws are placed where when putting them in as some are wood screws and others are threaded machine screws, as to not strip any of there holes.
