2 Vintage Steelcase Model 417 Metal Industrial Office Mid Century Modern Chairs
For auction is one pair of vintage Steelcase 417 chairs. They have brushed steel frames and are upholstered in black vinyl. The vinyl is in excellent shape overall. But there is some very minor nicks and scuffs on the backs, and one of the chairs has a small vinyl repair on the seat. They have been thoroughly cleaned. These chairs have a very sleek, modern look, and would look great in a variety of interiors, home or office. DIMENSIONS: 19" wide. 20.25" deep, 30.75" tall. Vtg Mid Century Modern Industrial Chrome Swivel Stool Casters Wheels VGCC
Mid Century Modern Chrome Swivel Stool with Casters The only thing I've done to this was added 2 screws on the legs because they were missing otherwise it is all original Somewhere along the way there were 2 minor tears in the vinyl which someone put tape over it. It has held through use and cleaning but I wouldn't officially call it a repair. You can see them easily in the photos above. One was glued down and completely secure. The other one has tape over it. One can easily reupholster the seat if desired. I left it for authenticity reasons. Chrome has some worn spots throughout. I've provided lots of photos for your review. I consider this normal wear and tear with age. The casters are in good condition but there is string stuck between them. It does not affect the usage of the wheels. I think someone used this as their sewing ... morechair. I pulled lots out but it is taking too long. Perhaps you have the time. I do have the matching lounge chair! This comes with original webbing and cushion. Chair has matching cushions. I will combine on shipping of these two items. Clean original finish with minor scuffs which is indicative of the age/era and general use. Solid and clean overall. Cushion is not"crunchy" Naugahyde in good condition. I am selling a super cool vintage Contour Chair Lounge Co. Model 100 Lounge Chair with the vibrator. Electric powerslide and thermomatic HEAT! Yes, it still heats up! It has the knobs on both sides so if you only want the heat on the right side and not the left, then that is an option. The vibrator lets out some strong vibes! The name of the chair is called"The Cuddler" for a reason! You can cuddle up with the one you love while you watch a movie! We have had one like this before in better shape but it didnt heat up like this one. These extra wide chairs are kinda hard to find and weve had two in the past several months. We got about $550 for the last one, it is pictured on my ME PAGE. I've plugged it in and it moves forward/backwards and has a vibrating unit built-in but it is loud when you turn it up so it may need some work ... moreto quite it down. When the vibrator is on low the noise is where it should be for being turned on. It still gives out a great message on low. Its when you turn it up that it gets louder. One of them will need resewn in area on the strap and the other one is missing the sand inside to weight it down on the end of it, but in good shape. I have seen them reupholstered on Ebay and they still look great and have sold around $850 on Ebay. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT ALL PICTURES. Original Russel Wright Conant Ball Mid-Century Danish Modern Slipper "S" Chair
This is the iconic Russel Wright"S" chair produced in the 1950s by Conant Ball. Stylistically reminiscent of the better Danish Modern designs of the era. All original. Appears to be the original upholstery(although I am not expert enough to be certain) Very good condition, comfortable and structurally sound. There is a lighter area on the seat(see photo) that may be staining that would come out if professionally cleaned. Also, the very top of the back is somewhat lightened, which I would attribute to sun fading. These pieces are often professionally reupholstered, which can be done reasonably inexpensively due to the simplicity of the design. Vintage Eames Soft Pad office chair- Herman Miller
The soft pad chair is an American classic. Equally at home at an office desk or pulled up to a dining room table. It is a versatile icon of modern design. This chair is stamped 1989 on underside. It is in great condition for its age. In my opinion it is 7 out 10 condition. I'm not expert and have shown pictures and described it to the best of my ability. It has typical wear around edges of the seat. Its not pneumatic. Its height adustable by rotating. There is a control underneath for tension control for recline. this is a set of wrought iron stools or chairs designed by arthur umanoff. these are solid and in very good condition. the strapping on the backs does have some soiling and wear. many side edges of the back have a small wear spot where the strapping has worn down to the metal. this is typical of these stools being used. the wood is good. the 4 stools look good with normal wear from some use. the dimensions are 18 1/2 w x 32 h x 18 deep. thanks for looking.

Vintage Thonet Gull Wing Side Arm Chair Mid-Century Modern Molded Plywood
Great look and it is sound and solid but has been painted. It looks like a red primer first then brown on top.It was done many years ago as there is wear to the paint. Also there is a 1/16" deep by 1" wide by 5" long piece of veneer missing from the furniture grade plywood that this is made of. It is at the base of the one arm and it is common to have a problem there as the veneer wants to buckle when they steam form them in to place. It usually blisters and cracks there. If you are going to strip it and take it back to the original blonde finish you'll need to replace it with the natural plywood veneer strip. If you are going to repaint it you just paint over top. Fill it with wood filler or just patch it in with any veneer strip you can find. It sets very comfortable. The chair measures 33.75" high in the back and has a 20" seat depth. The height of the seat is 18.25" and the height of the arms is 26.5" Both the seat back and the seat cushion are tufted with a center button. The feet are made from a brushed aluminum. There is some light soiling on this and a small area at the top end of the arm that has wear rub. Overall this chair is in great condition and is a very comfortable chair. Antique stencilled Hitchcock side or parlour chair. Uncommon"turtle back" shape has characteristic gold stencilling over a black finish. The main design features a group of fruits with additional geometric accents accross the chair. The chair also has a rush seat and turned legs and stretchers. The company signature on the back of the seat dates this chair between 1823 and 1843. This chair is in very good condition considering its age. There is some breakage to the rush seat as well as damage to the painted finish. Mostly at edges and corners. Some of the areas of missing paint look like they were filled in later in a dark color. See pictures. No other breaks or repairs. The chair stands 34" tall and measures 18" wide. The seat is 15.5" deep. I cannot find any chair like this on the internet in red and the painting job in some places does NOT look professionally done. However. The stencil looks pretty good. THERE ARE dings to the paint throughout the surface of the chair. However, NO chips to the wood and no cracks in the wood. The structure is sound and solid. The chair back is 34" tall, it is 22.5" wide, 19.5 inches front to back, and the seat is18" off the ground. It weighs a little less than 13 lbs. Because of the size it has to go freight. Baker Furniture has long been a prestige manufacturer of fine furniture. These two chairs are a fine example. Sophisticated design highlighted by gracious(but not overdone) curves. Sturdy construction, exquisite comfort, sumptuous fabric, and magnificent stitching and finish detail. Most probably dating from the 1960s, these chairs offer the modest scale of the period, and measure 27" high, 28" wide, with a seat height of 16" and a seat depth of 20" The upholstery is a subtly embroidered gold with navy piping. The chairs sit and look nearly as new—most likely they saw very little use at all. There is some light wear to the exposed portion of the legs that could be easily touched up.
