$1.00 Shipping Condition: Used Location: Trenton, United States You get the pair. I don't see a name tag but they are well made and vintage from probably the 1950's to 1960's. The cushions are on real springs-not ... morethe newer knock offs on plywood and thick foam. They could be designer pieces as they came from the same estate as the Jens Risnom and Girsberger chairs that I have just listed. These are sound and solid with no holes or tears to the original fabric. Fabric is quite thick and durable and rather a golden yellow color. Seat height is 16 1/2" in the front-14 1/2" in the back-so they set an angle and you just sort of lean back into them. Cushioning is still in good shape and they set comfortable. Seat width is 24 1/2" with a depth of 22" Back height is 33" They are pretty clean but you might want to hit them with some upholstery cleaner. I don't see any stains. I need to remove the legs from the seat frame to hold the shipping cost down. To do so I need to remove the staples from the dust liner on the underside to get to the nuts and bolts that hold the legs on. They just bolt right back on with wing nuts for the front and nuts for the rear legs. Upholstery will stay tight as that is on with small nails. Some wear to the mahogany stain finish but not a lot. I think the wood is probably poplar stained mahagony. If you would like to pick up and save the shipping my zipcode is 17363. Original Russel Wright Conant Ball Mid-Century Danish Modern Slipper "S" Chair
This is the iconic Russel Wright"S" chair produced in the 1950s by Conant Ball. Stylistically reminiscent of the better Danish Modern designs of the era. All original. Appears to be the original upholstery(although I am not expert enough to be certain) Very good condition, comfortable and structurally sound. There is a lighter area on the seat(see photo) that may be staining that would come out if professionally cleaned. Also, the very top of the back is somewhat lightened, which I would attribute to sun fading. These pieces are often professionally reupholstered, which can be done reasonably inexpensively due to the simplicity of the design. Holes, worn spots or stains. Although they would benefit from a cleaning. Original Fagas rubber seat webbing has stretched a bit but is still quite usable. Walnut frame with light wear to feet and some scuffs to the lower slats. Completely covered by the cushions. Finish on top back rail has dried and flaked away a bit but there is no damage to wood. This is a sweet little"slipper" chair. It is unmarked but dated May 1951 on the bottom. It is covered in red vinyl and does have a few tears in it(please see photos) It is appx. 31 inches tall. Vintage Mid Century Modern Retro Eames Era KROEHLER Sitting Room Slipper Side Lounge Club Chair I believe it is from the 1950's. But could possibly be late 1940's or early 1960's. I have had this chair for some time now. And I absolutely love it! I really hate to see it go! After merging 2 households, we have too much furniture, and it just does not fit with the rest of our decor. This Vintage Mid Century Modern Kroehler Chair is all original. It still has the original fabric and all of the parts are original. The fabric does have some worn spots and a portion of of the seat fabric is worn(you can see the difference in the fabric where it has worn on the seat in photo#3) You may choose to have it recovered. But it would not be absolutely necessary, I can tell when I sit on the chair seat I can feel that the springs have aged.at ... moreleast one of the springs has"sprung" and is just not quite right. However, when examining the springs from the bottom of the chair, the springs all appear to be just fine. But you can clearly feel something that is not quite right when sitting on the seat. Again, not a major problem, the chair is fine as it is functional, sturdy and very comfortable. It doesn't need to be fixed right away, but I'm guessing it will need to be fixed at some point. It also has the original blonde wood legs, which are very sturdy and have no structural issues(no cracks or breaks) It still has it's original aluminum KROEHLER name plate on the bottom(photos 8& 9) the original factory tag, which reads, CHAIR 10-01279" photo 10) and writing on the underside from the factory(photo 11) The bottom of the chair has a piece of burlap separating the chair seat and the springs(photo 12) The burlap is a true testament to it's age! Measurements(please note that the measurements below are accurate to the best of my ability) Overall Height: 30.5" Tall Chair Back Width: 20" Seat Height: 15" Tall at the edge of the seat. 15-3/4" Tall in the middle of the seat.

RARE Pair Florence Knoll Slipper Lounge Chairs Mid Century Modern Walnut Legs
Fantastic Pair of Florence Knoll Slipper Chairs c.1960's The listed price is for 2 chairs. Both chairs are in great condition. The fabric on one chair at front corner has some very light soiling(I did some spot cleaning but have not had them professionally cleaned- see photo) Some scratches on legs(mainly on sides- see photos) I was told by the original owner that they were reupholstered in the eighties. The foam in the cushions is still firm yet soft and comfortable. Being persnickety. I would mention that the front corners of the chairs are not as stiff as they could be- if you sit on the corner edge of a chair or press it down you'll see a little wrinkling(see photo) I also included a closeup of a back corner where the welting may have rubbed up against something and isn't as neat and tidy as the other edges. The wool around ... morethat spot is slightly fuzzy, too. This slight defect I also mention for the great perfectionist. In my opinion. The upholstery is in excellent condition for its age.
