This is a fantastic pair of mid century modern John Widdicomb upholstered parsons chairs. They were originally done in an orange chenille and we wanted to keep them as close to original as we could. They have been recovered in a red chenille and are in wonderful condition. These chairs are not your average parsons chairs but being that they are a Widdicomb design you wouldn't expect them to be. They are a bit oversized which gives them a great look. I can't imagine that they would have been used at a table. Unless it was massive. They would be more fitting in your living room or parlor. They measure approximately 40 1/2" tall x 24 1/2" wide x 24 1/2" deep. These chairs are sturdy, and in very good condition with only some minor age related imperfections. The seats are clean without tears or rips.
