There's no breaks or repairs to the wood. The caning on two of the stools are in need of restoration. Easy fix. Although the 3rd stool is in good shape. Calling all mid-century modern aficionados! Set of eight authentic Marcel Breuer B32 Cesca chairs. Set includes six side chairs and two arm chairs. But they need repair as follows: seven seats and three backs need recaning at an approximate cost of $100/each Total to recane then is about $1000. Previous owner bought one full replacement seat, not sue if it's Knoll as it does not have curve to front edge, so may need to be replaced if you want authentic restoration. Previous owners mother- in-law purchased these at Knoll around the corner from her house in Connecticut. Grime on wood and chrome needs polishing. My furniture guy used Orange powder and water on both and they cleaned up beautifully, chrome strip he tested came out smooth as satin and all shine was instantly restored, but these are basically project chairs for a Breuer lover ... morewho wants the real thing. New. These chairs retail for $1442.each for the arm chairs and $724.each for the side chairs. Fiberglass shows some light scuffs but in general excellent condition. They still retain a nice glossy sheen. No cracks. Some light wear along the upper back edge from being against a wall. Super sturdy& comfortable; very good condition overall, just need a good cleaning from being in storage(and a few slight knicks here& there from use over the years, and some spots where it looks like something splattered on the wood. I am assuming this can be cleaned off with a good wood clear. But I have not done so; please be sure before you bid) The original cushions need to be cleaned. And the wood(which I believe is teak) needs some cleaning here& there as well, but there are no rips or cracks/breaks anywhere(and the felt on the bottoms of the legs needs replacing.please view pictures thoroughly) This is a GREAT set of chairs. DESCRIPTION Very nice set of four red upholstered Mid-Century Modern Dunbar armchairs. Each of these have a Dunbar tag on the underside. These chairs come from an estate decorated entirely in Dunbar furniture. The previous owner shortened the legs and added casters to the chairs to keep the seats at the correct 17 1/2" height.
