For sale I have a vintage tufted velvet side chair. The color is a burnt amber-rust. As best described. Photos show color best. There is one loose button on top left of the back of the chair. Mid century Hollywood regency tufted chesterfield his hers stool chairs 60s 70s
Up for grabs are a pair of matching his and hers chairs with one foot stool. They are tufted with faux leather and have a few missing button covers but no significant damage to the overall tufting of the chairs. The main damage is the the arms of the chairs where the leather has begun to crack. To make sure that no further damage occurred on our watch we cover the cracks with black electrical tape as you can see in the pictures, We have two small children who have a desire to explore anything they shouldn't and so the tape was more of a precaution for us. Hollywood Regency Style Barrel Back Tufted Arm Chair in a Crushed Yellow Velvet circa the 1960's. The chair has a beautiful fan barrel back with a single line of studs; 7 button tufts in total. The chair has a removable cushion upholstered on both sides in the rich yellow crushed velvet. The wood seat frame continues around the whole bottom of the chair. There are 2 front tapered legs topped with carved rosettes. And 2 simple rear sabre legs. The wood frame and legs are in excellent condition; little wear. The fabric has some wear due to age and use. Hollywood Regency Style Tufted Barrel Back Chairs Mid Century
Up for your consideration I have a pair of mid-century barrel chairs. The fabric is stained and dirty and you would need to replace it. It does not look to bad in the pictures but it is. The wood frame is good and strong but again its finish is pretty worn out. I would think it needs refinishing. The fabric looks the same on back and seat but the tufts are not.
