Designed by Don Albison. These chairs are in as-found condition. I have done nothing with them. These are good solid sturdy chairs. There will be some scratches and scuffs. Nothing major in my opinion. Some feet are missing. They weigh about 10 lbs a piece. I have 5 sets. If you are interested in more than 1 set,we can probably make a package deal. I plan to ship these dismantled. Theres a total of 8 3/8" bolts and 2 1/4" bolts that hold these together. Very simple to put together and take apart. These five chairs are based on the Eames Shell Chair. Also referred to as Saarinen Style. These five chairs have a swivel base. The foam seat cushion has been replaced and is ready for the fabric cover to be designed and installed. There is a sixth chair and base which I will give to the buyer. I do this because the cast aluminum swivel mechanism broke and was apparently discarded. If you are able to find a new swivel mechanism. Then you have a sixth chair for nothing. Otherwise, you might be able to attach the base to the Fiberglas shell without being able to swivel it. The chairs are available for pick-up in the Chicago area. We can negotiate the cost of shipping the chairs elsewhere.

Both also are stamped on the bottom with the 15S model number and have their manufacturer DO NOT REMOVE tags. The green chair is the only one that still has the company foil sticker. Legs have a 26" width. Seat top measures 17" wide x 14" deep. Seat back measures 14" wide x 7" tall. If you look at the photos. I adjusted the brown to sit at the lowest height of 18" and the green is at 20" max seat height. A beautiful. Solid built pair of chairs that will last you another lifetime of use!
