There is a nice wood cut out placed on top of each chair to make it sturdy. The cane bottom is still underneath if you would be interested in repairing it. There are pillows/seat cushions that can be used with them, but I personally was thinking of upolstering the seat(on the removeable wood piece)

4 vintage Legomatic folding chairs caned backs Leg-O-Matic
Here are 4 Legomatic folding chairs with caned backs for you! These take up little space when folded. And were popular for Airstream trailers. Each one has good caning, but needs to have the vinyl seat cushion recovered as you can see. This should be easy enough, but I'm leaving it for the new owner so that s/he can choose their own covering. Two of the medallions in the backs are missing, but these should be easy enough to find at a place like Michael's or AC Moore so that you can have 4 matching ones. Each chair does fold and unfold; a couple need a tiny bit of help but I'm sure this can be adjusted. Each chair weighs only 10 pounds. Set of six(6) green/ gold antique wood Louis XVI chairs with caning. Imported from English antique dealer in the early 20th C. Part of an estate. Each chair has a custom cushion. F our are in excellent condition. One has a small barely visible tear in back caning. One has a larger tear in bottom that needs re-caning.
