Description of chairs: these cane back barrel chairs on casters were picked up recently at an estate sale. And they are a beautiful vintage find! A stamp on the mechanical height adjustment knob on the bottom of the chair gives a date of 1977. 3 of the chairs are american made. Oak, and made by H.W. HULL. These are beautiful, high quality original spindle/cane barrel back chairs on casters. They have two adjustments, one for height an another to adjust the reclining feature of the chairs. These has never been repaired, and are just excellent vintage chairs. They do have some wear such as scuffs, small knicks, and some places where the original varnish is wearing down. None ... moreof that detracts from the function or form of the chairs, so they are ready to add their own distinct charm to the space you have in mind. The 4th chair is obviously a replacement for a chair that broke at one time. It was probably made in the 80's. And uses lower quality materials(plastic caster tops, I don't think it is oak, etc. it is not american made, and has a very slightly larger size and a lighter stain. The size difference isn't noticeable with general use, but the color can be noticed a bit(depends on the lighting in the room, etc) The last 2 pictures I have in the listing show the contrast of the replacement chair with the original chairs. You can see the bottom is different. And it has a slight style/color differences as well. That being said. It does blend quite well with the others, as the pictures show. This is a beautiful matching pair of signed Drexel Heritage upholstered lounge chairs. They have original yellow crushed velvel upholstery. They measure 28" wide, 25" deep, 41" high at the back and 15" high seats. They have nice slender backs, pull over headrest covers at the top and snap tie accents along the skirt. They are in excellent original condition and have a few holes along the edges of the backs. No other rips or damage and were from an original owner who had a smoke and pet free home. This is an amazing pair of milo Baughman style upholstered arm chairs. There are no tags or makers name. They are a very 70's pop geometric style. The upholstery is in very nice clean condition. May have been recently reupholstered. No rips, tears, etc. They are built well as shown and are both tight and sturdy. The colors are a bit washed out from the sun. They are a light color beige with the colored stripes as seen in the close ups. Also have one additional matching chair listed up for auction* Beautiful pair of vintage modern barrel chairs in the style of Milo Baughman. Chairs swivel and lightly rock. Both chairs are solid and mechanically sound with cushions being firm with no sagging. Pretty pastel ikat pattern on cushions with the frame being a light grayish blue in color. I believe the material to be a part silk and linen or possibly 100% silk but am uncertain. Upholstery is in nice vintage condition as pictures show. Minor vintage wear. No rips, tears or funky odors. The actual seat and back cushion are in mint condition on both chairs. The solid color frame does show some minor wear at arms and base and some very light fading to bottom. I personally do not feel they need reupholstered if material, pattern and color is to your liking. Could use a cleaning to the ... morebase/arms but again, I personally don't feel it's totally necessary. One chair does have two small red stains on the front side of bottom base, please zoom in on second picture, left side chair. Wooden base's could be refinished.
