Offering this amazing Rattan/Bamboo lounge chair. Solid structure. Very comfortable, no cracks to Bamboo. Though some of straps have snapped in certain areas, but nothing structural. See last photo. Small bands in the liner that are cracked really and one underneath. This would look beautiful if it was sanded down and stained again though I honestly would leave it alone. Great lines and design. Someone with knowledge chair design/comfort and structure was behind this one of a kind piece. Multiple layers of banding to give it strength. No give when you sit, its solid. Love not to ship. Offered are a pair of beautiful vintage McGuire rattan and rawhide bound lounge chairs in excellent original condition. Chairs measure 30" tall. 28" deep, 25" wide with 17" cushioned seat height. Both feature brass McGuire San Francisco badges. Chairs are tight and very solid. Cushions have original gold geometric pattern fabric and look GREAT. Cushions are solid and fabric has very little wear with no rips. Tears, repairs and no staining that I can find. Webbing is tight and solid. Wood is excellent and they match very well except for naturally occurring changes in gradation. Rawhide is complete but one chair has areas of flaking to rawhide varnish. They are both sturdy I weigh 250 and they hold me no problem. Chair is 30.5 tall and 27 wide. footstool is 10.75 tall to where the cushion would sit on it.
