The doors were painted and the paint was ... morerecently stripped and the doors were then sanded. They are beautifully made and are flat and not warped in any way. Note the fine craftsmanship in the panels, trim and other details. Both doors are in very good antique condition with a handful of minor chips and scratches as would be expected. There is no woodworm or dry rot damage whatsoever. The latch and latch mechanism appear to be complete but there are no door handles. Note the cracks in the flat panels and wood patches (see photos). Note that there are also cracks in the trim (see photos). Dimensions: The door set is 56" wide (each door is 28" wide), 101" tall and 1.5" thick (2" thick at the framed edges). Pocket Doors - 8 Panel Antique Pair
Doors are from Italianate Revival home built in 1875 in which we currently live. They are spruce with walnut trim on the panels. They have been stored in a dry location. And other than minor finish issues(mainly dust and and dryness) they are in very good condition. There are no splits or joint separations. They are being sold as shown(minus the door knob) These are extremely large(46 1/4 x 101 each door 92 1/2 combined) and heavy doors and crating and shipping would be an additional charge. They were originally doors in a large buffet. The wood frames are in very good antique condition-straight and solid with the usual amount of minor nicks and scratches from 100+ years of use. The antique glass panes are beveled and none are chipped or cracked. Each door is: 26.75" tall. 12.25" wide, and 1.25" thick.

Antique, French, interior doors salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. Each door has a solid pine core(possibly yellow pine) covered with 1/8" heart pine veneers, and features 4 chicken wire, glass lites and 2 raised panels. Hardware: There are no lock mortises cut into the edge of the door. As a result. You have the opportunity to cut and create any size mortise for any lock set you wish! Otherwise, these doors are not equipped with any hardware. However, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the doors(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: Door#1: On the exterior side ... moreof the door. The bottom of the lock stile and the top and bottom of the hinge stile are chipped. Pair 1880's Solid Cherry Mortise and Tendon Paneled Cupboard Doors
We are offering for auction this pair of 1880's solid cherry mortised and tendon doors.They were purchased at a farm auction in Northwest Ohio. It looks like they were at one time painted.Taken apart and re-glued. They are made of first growth native deep red cherry. The outside of the door has a flat panel with the inside of the door having a raised panel. At present there is no finish on them. They will need to be sanded before new finish is applied. The door is 18 by 35 and 1/2 inches high and comes with no hardware. As with all architectural salvage there are blemishes,nicks and dings that comes with age. They have raised panels with what looks to be the original shellac/varnish on them, the finish is crackled as that finish tends to do as it ages.
