Achectectural Oak, Pine, Mahogany Antique Doors With Brass Hardware
What a find! I have 15 archetectural antique doors with all the original hardware! All hinges. Bolts, doorknobs and both sides of hinges. Most are heartpine, some are oak. Most are 36 x 79. Two are 27, two are 29, one 30 and one 31 wide. One front door(pictured with lockbox) is 48 x 79. There is one magnificent slider, again, complete with sliding mechanism and the most beautiful hammered brass handle. These are amazing doors. Prices vary by size. The $100.00 is for smallest door. Antique Gothic Glass Panel Church Doors Offered here is this Antique Double Gothic Church Door with vintage glass panels. This door came from a small town in South/Central Texas and was a salvaged purchase. It is Gothic to Renaissance in style and will need to be refurbished since the wood has some scratches. Nicks and miscellaneous small repairs on them. The glass looks to be 1940’s or older with four panels replaced by a different style of glass. These four replaced pieces of glass panels have a starburst/snowflake type pattern while the remainder has a mottled goose-bump style. There are 30 glass panels in total on the two doors. It measures: 68”W x 7’T. A finish carpenter would have to make them conform to your city’s code ordinances as well as bring out the true beauty of these unique doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made ... moreof. But most likely its mahogany. With a little elbow grease these doors could be brought back to their former glory and history. What a great statement these doors would make in someone’s home, garden, guest room or office. Originally cost us $1200. But reduced price for the finish work that needs to be done. Storyville was the notorious(and extremely popular) red light district of New Orleans from 1897 to 1917. As-is antique Brunswick Balke Collender Swinging Saloon door. I believe that the glue chip glass could be original. It is wavy to the touch. The door could be made of mahogany and the hinges have springs inside. There is only one and there is wear, particularly on the edge of the door. Likely from rubbing against something. There are a few missing finials on the hinges and cracks to the wood. I have tried to capture the door in the photos. The Brunswick label appears to be painted/decal on both sides of the door.
