Four Antique Solid Oak Large Architecturally Interesting Pocket Doors
These architecturally interesting pocket doors are made of oak very happy with an interesting design that at times is used for adding that special something to your room's decor. There are four of these paneled beauties. These doors have been used as a room divider and the top portion of a few of them have some nail holes which I tried to showing the picture as well as an area where wiring went through taking an inch and a half off the top of one portion otherwise the doors have their original finish and are beautiful. They are approximately 36 1/2 inches wide and stand 7 1/2 feet tall. Penn Antique Restoration. 29"x79"x1.75" Antique Solid Oak Door w/2 Vertical Panels. Handsome. Antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door has a solid oak core covered with 3/16" thick, white oak veneers. The door has a light stain and worn finish on all sides. There are 2, long, vertical, recessed panels on both sides of the door. Also, please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are almost 1/4" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. The door could be sanded and refinished several times before the door would need to be re-veneered. Hardware: Although the photos show some hardware installed; the door doesn't come equipped with any hardware. However. Condition: There are minor cosmetic blemishes from top to bottom. Most of the scrapes, scratches, and nail holes would be removed by sanding and/or filled with putty during the preparation phase prior to staining and finishing, or concealed once painted. I hate to sell them but they no longer fit the style. They are un great condition no cracks in the glasses n u can and and stain them or paint them to fit ur needs. Antique Solid White Oak Wood Doors
These doors were removed from an elementary school built in 1905 which was being renovated. The doors are solid white oak and were from the Boy's and Girl's restrooms. They are just under 36" x 84" in size and in good shape except for some damage to the louver in the Boy's room door. They would be perfect for a bar or restaurant renovation with some refinishing. This door was salvaged from a home built in 1913. I have 6 doors from the same home for sale. This door is 85x30. I believe this is oak I am not an expert. This door has a large beveled mirror on one side. The beveled edge is 1" wide. Willing to drive up 60 miles to deliver for a fee. If you want delivery notify me before paying and I will add cost of fuel to the auction invoice. These doors are in good condition. The joints are tight and they are heavy. 1 7/8" thick. The door has a solid Douglas Fir core, covered with 1/8" oak veneers and features 6 recessed panels on each side. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware.
